Vanessa and Bianca hadn't expected Evan to know that much detail.

The way he explained it was casual, like someone chatting about the weather. But strangely, there wasn't the slightest doubt in their hearts. They both believed him completely.

"Oh, right, one more thing." Evan held up a finger. "Black Crow is one of the ten biggest assassin organizations in the world. Number seven, to be exact."

Bianca swallowed hard. Number seven in the world, and yesterday those people had pressed a gun to her head.

Vanessa took a slow breath, then lowered her head slightly.

"Thank you for the information, Young Master Evan. It means a great deal to us."

"It's no big deal. Relax." Evan waved it off.

Then his smile turned mischievous.

"By the way, though, a lot of people are after you right now, Miss Vanessa. How about you hire me as your personal bodyguard?"

Vanessa gave him a flat look.

"How could I possibly dare to hire you as my bodyguard, Young Master?"

"Why wouldn't you dare? If you want me, I'd be more than happy to say yes." Evan patted his own chest. "Guarding a beautiful woman is a dream job."

"Your intentions can't be as simple as just guarding her, Young Master Evan." Bianca chimed in, narrowing her eyes with a suspicious look. "Don't tell me you've got your sights set on Miss Vanessa?"

"Hehe." Evan didn't deny it at all. "I could count that as a bonus."

As he said it, his eyes rested on Vanessa's face, then drifted leisurely down to her large chest.

Vanessa's face darkened at once.

"Young Master, please don't look at my body however you like."

"Hey, I've got eyes, don't I?" Evan shot back without a trace of guilt. "Unless I was blind, there's no way I wouldn't look."

Vanessa was at a loss for words.

Bianca, on the other hand, giggled until her shoulders shook.

"So you're a naughty man, Young Master Evan."

For some reason, she didn't feel disgusted either. If any other man had talked like that, she would've thrown water in his face already. But coming out of this man's mouth, it all just sounded funny.

She even turned to her boss with sparkling eyes.

"Miss, won't you think about it? Young Master Evan's handsome, you know. It's not like you'd be losing out if you gave yourself to him."

"Bianca!"

Vanessa glared at her, her ears turning red again.

"What are you even saying? Watch your mouth, or I'm docking your pay this month!"

Bianca quickly covered her mouth with both hands, but her eyes were still laughing.

The door opened. Several waiters came in carrying dishes and arranged them on the table, plate after plate, until the table was full.

Evan was starving. The moment the waiters left, he dug into the food without a shred of embarrassment, like a man who hadn't eaten in three days.

"So what do you say?" he asked with his mouth full. "Are you in, Miss Vanessa?"

He swallowed, then pointed at Vanessa with his fork.

"I'm serious, you know. I want you to stay safe. You're beautiful. It'd be such a waste if you died."

"I don't want a naughty man as my bodyguard," Vanessa replied curtly.

"I'm naughty, sure, but I'm not a bad guy."

Vanessa didn't answer that. She picked up her spoon and said coldly.

"Just focus on your food, Young Master."

Evan shrugged and went back to attacking his plate.

Bianca hadn't eaten much this whole time. Her eyes kept moving from Evan to Vanessa, then back again. One was cheerful to a fault, the other cold beyond belief.

"If they got together, they'd make a perfect couple," Bianca said to herself.

Evan noticed her gaze. He turned to her, and that mischievous smile came back.

"Why do you keep looking, Miss Bianca? If you like me, just say so. I'm not gonna turn down a beautiful woman like you." His eyes dropped to Bianca's ample chest. "Especially not a woman with a chest that big."

Bianca's face went red in an instant. She crossed her arms over her chest and glared at Evan.

"You're such a pervert, Young Master Evan!" she complained.

Evan burst out laughing.

Vanessa rubbed her temples. This breakfast was far more exhausting than a board meeting.

===

After they finished eating, the three of them walked out of the restaurant.

"Where are you two headed after this?" Evan asked.

"To the company, of course," Vanessa answered.

"Then I'm coming with you."

Vanessa stopped walking and looked at him.

"Coming with us?"

"I've got nothing else to do." Evan slid his hands into his pockets. "Better to have a look around your company than sit at home alone staring at the walls."

Vanessa was silent, weighing it. Bringing a man like this to her office was obviously going to invite trouble.

"Just let Young Master Evan come along, Miss," Bianca whispered in her ear. "It's not a bad deal, having someone to protect us. After what happened yesterday, I'm still scared."

That last line hit home. Vanessa sighed.

"Alright. But please don't cause a scene there."

"Don't worry. I'm a calm, quiet kind of guy," Evan said with a straight face.

Nobody believed him.

In front of the main entrance, Evan's Pagani sat in its reserved spot, impossible to miss. Vanessa and Bianca slowed down the moment they saw it.

"This is your car, Young Master?" Bianca covered her mouth. "Oh my god..."

Vanessa didn't make a sound, but her eyes never left the car. She recognized the model. Even her family couldn't get their hands on a limited-edition car like that.

It wasn't for lack of money. Money alone wasn't enough to buy a car like that. You needed status, connections, and a name the world recognized.

Then she remembered yesterday. The five cars that had stopped behind the police line. Every one of them a limited edition.

"This man's identity really is anything but ordinary," Vanessa said to herself.

"Let's go." Evan opened his car door. "You two go ahead. I'll follow behind."

===

Vanessa's company building towered over Moon City's business district.

The moment Vanessa's black sedan pulled up at the lobby, the employees passing by bowed their heads in greeting. But those greetings were cut off halfway when a Pagani roared in and stopped right behind it.

Every eye turned that way.

The car door opened, and a handsome young man stepped out without a care. He was tall and well built, with a face that looked like it had come straight off a magazine cover.

"Who's that?"

"No idea. Never seen him before..."

"He's so hot!"

Evan obviously heard them. He ran his fingers back through his hair, then winked at a group of female employees near the door. A few of them let out stifled squeals right away.

He went on to wave at the receptionist, then smiled at two women who had just stepped out of the elevator.

Vanessa and Bianca both shot him a glare at the same time.

"Young Master," Vanessa hissed. "Who was it that said he was calm and quiet just now?"

"I'm only saying hello. That's called good manners."

Vanessa chose not to answer and walked inside. Evan followed at her side with a light step, while Bianca trailed after them, holding back her laughter.

Behind them, the employees' whispers grew louder.

Their CEO, famous for being as cold as ice, who had never let any man walk that close to her, had shown up today with a young stranger. And that young man was talking to her as casually as an old friend.

They didn't recognize his face at all. He wasn't a young master from any of the big families in this city.

So who exactly was he?

Evan stopped. His hand went still on Madam Sandra’s shoulder.“Madam,” he whispered hoarsely. “I wanna see these big beauties of yours for real.”“I already told you, only over the clothes!” Madam Sandra clutched her dress even tighter.“Come on, Madam...”Evan didn’t pull at her. Instead his hand went back over the fabric and squeezed her breast harder than before, slow but deep, as if reminding her body of what it had just been feeling.Madam Sandra bit her lip. Her breath hitched, and her body, starved for so long, grew even hotter. Her defenses crumbled bit by bit, not because of Evan, but because of herself.“Fine, do whatever you want...” she finally murmured, turning her face away. Her hands slowly let go of the dress.Evan drew the fabric down along with the black bra strap. As the sight beneath was laid bare under the dim glow of the bedside lamp, full, smooth, and pale, with reddish-brown peaks, Evan swallowed hard.“So beautiful...” he murmured in awe. “This big and not sag

Madam Sandra froze.Evan’s whisper had hit her like a bolt out of the blue. Her face burned, from her cheeks all the way to her ears.“H-help?” Her voice trembled. “Young Master, do you... do you even realize what you just said?”“Totally.” Evan smiled without a hint of shame. “You’re the one who asked, right? So I gave you an honest answer.”“I’m Vanessa’s mother!”“Yeah, I know.”“I’m way older than you!”“I know that too.” Evan leaned back and looked her over from head to toe. “So what? You’re the one who got me like this. Sitting next to me in a dress like that, smelling this good. I’m a normal guy, Madam. Not a statue.”Madam Sandra glanced toward the hallway. The lights in Vanessa’s and Bianca’s rooms were still on, and from Disa’s room came the faint sound of laptop keys clicking.“Keep your voice down!” she hissed. “If they hear...”“That’s why I’ve been whispering this whole time.”Madam Sandra was at a loss for words. She bit her lip and turned her face away.“He’s crazy...

  • Chapter 19 Flirting with Her Mother

This widowed mother of Vanessa’s still had a truly stunning allure. Her face was beautiful, her skin clear and firm, showing no sign of her age at all. The tight dress she wore clung to her body, revealing every curve. Her chest was enormous, even bigger than Bianca’s. Her hips were full, her backside round and plump. And on top of all that, she carried a calm, mature aura. An aura no young woman could ever imitate.“Madam,” Evan said casually, “you’re still really beautiful, and you look young, too. Why haven’t you married again?”Madam Sandra’s hand stopped over a glass. She froze for a moment. Then she let out a soft sigh, set the glass down, and smiled as she looked at Evan.“Finding a man you can rely on is very hard, Young Master.” Her voice was gentle. “You must know what the circles of elite families are like. Most of it is just about gain. What they look at is the family name, the wealth, the connections. Not the person.”Evan nodded. He understood perfectly. No matter the co

I’ll go along with your decision.”Bianca and Disa looked at each other, then agreed as well.“I’ll go too,” Madam Sandra said calmly. “If I’m there, I can keep an eye on the three of them.”Evan looked at Madam Sandra. The mature woman sat gracefully in a dress that hugged her ripe curves.“A beautiful older woman with a hot body at the villa. Not bad at all. Hehe,” Evan said to himself.“How nice it would be if I could stay at Young Master’s villa too.”That gentle voice came from where the Citra family was seated. Nadia was resting her chin on her hand, a small smile on her lips. Maybe she was envious, maybe there was some other reason.“If you want to, Miss Nadia, you’re welcome to!” Evan answered in a hurry.Vanessa and Bianca glared at him on reflex.“That bastard!” Bianca cursed in her heart.Nadia giggled. Her eyes flicked briefly to Vanessa’s cold face, then to Bianca’s annoyed one.“I’m only joking, Young Master. But if I ever

"Oh." Evan blew out his cigarette smoke, his tone dismissive. "And here I thought it was some big family..."Everyone was taken aback. The Yudi family of Cloud City, stronger than two first-class families combined, and this young man talked about them like he was discussing a food stall at the end of the street?"Young Master, what do you mean?" Old Master Jaya asked."Come on, relax." Evan waved a hand. "This family's going to be just fine."It didn't sound serious at all. But Old Master Jaya's face lit up at once, like a man who had just had a weight lifted off him."That's good... thank you, Young Master. Thank you.""Grandpa." Vanessa's voice trembled. Tears ran down her cheeks. "Can't you just not go and fight?""Yes, that's right, Father!" Madam Sandra added. "We still want you alive!"Old Master Jaya smiled peacefully."I still want to live too. • Chapter 16 Life-and-Death Pact

Evan looked over the women in the hall one by one.The one who caught his attention most was a young woman sitting beside Old Master Pandu. Her beauty was on par with Vanessa’s. The difference was that she wasn’t cold at all. Her gaze was gentle, and there was a faint, friendly smile on her lips.“That’s my granddaughter, Nadia,” said Old Master Pandu, who had caught where Evan was looking.Nadia nodded politely. Evan answered with his best smile. Then his eyes moved to a mature woman sitting near Vanessa. Her face looked a little like Vanessa’s, only more refined, with a charm that only a woman her age could have.“And this is my daughter, Sandra. Vanessa’s mother,” Old Master Jaya introduced her. His voice dropped a little. “Vanessa’s father passed away in an accident a long time ago.”Madam Sandra smiled and bowed her head to Evan.“Thank you for saving my daughter, Young Master.”“You’re welcome, Madam.”Evan had just learned one thing. That cold woman had been without a father fo
