Chapter 1 Welcome To Moon City
The Nation of Erose. In a dim, luxurious bedroom, a handsome man leaned back lazily against the headboard. He looked about twenty-five, with a powerful build and a cigarette tucked between his fingers, its smoke curling slowly toward the ceiling. Beside him, a gorgeous blonde rested her head on his chest. Her eyes were a clear blue, and her curves were the kind that would make any man swallow hard. One of his arms was wrapped around her waist, while his other hand stroked her smooth thigh, casual as anything, like it was the most natural thing in the world. That man was Evan. "Young Master Evan." The woman tilted her head up, her voice sweet and clingy. "Are you sure you want to move to Chine?" Evan blew out a stream of smoke and shrugged. "What can I do? My family told me to. Besides, I'm not going there on vacation. I've got an important mission." Her lips went straight into a pout. She gave his arm a little shake. "Then what about me when you're gone? Take me with you, okay
Chapter 2 Hero To The Beauties
Evan took a closer look at the two hostages. One of them was crying. Tears streamed down her face, her shoulders shaking as she fought back sobs. The other one hadn't shed a single tear. Her face was cold, her lips pressed tight, as if the gun at her temple meant nothing at all. Oddly enough, that only made Evan more interested. They were both breathtaking. Their faces were unfairly beautiful, their bodies curved in all the right places, and their chests were so full that the fabric of their clothes looked like it was struggling to keep up. Evan clicked his tongue. His eyes moved to the rough arms of the hostage-takers wrapped around the two women, and his face soured right away. "Damn it. Fine goods like that, getting pawed by two monkeys," he grumbled. "I'm not okay with this." He stepped forward. The crowd of onlookers broke into a stir when they saw five strangers push their way to the very front, walking past the police line like it wasn't even there. "Brother, let us han
Chapter 3 The Price Of Humiliating His Brother
It was Mosa who answered instead. "Brother, before he left the organization, Duan asked to have his cultivation sealed." Evan raised an eyebrow. He gave Duan a strange look, like he was staring at a man who'd tied his own hands before walking into a kennel full of dogs. "You asked to be sealed?" he said. "And then you just let them beat you up like this?" Duan finally lifted his head. His split lip twisted into a bitter smile. "I did it on purpose, Brother. I wanted to test her." His eyes flicked toward the bride. "I wanted to know if she'd still want me if I was just some ordinary guy with no power and no money. Turns out that bitch only cares about power and money." Evan went quiet for a second, then let out a short laugh. Some of the anger faded from his face. "Good." He patted Duan on the shoulder. "Good thing you did that. Now you won't spend your whole life getting played by a bitch." "Who are you calling a bitch?!" The bride let go of Fero's arm and took a step forward
Chapter 4 Handing Out Millions Like Candy
Evan looked at the Governor, then snorted in disgust. "Too far?" He pointed at Duan, whose face was still swollen and bruised. "When my brother was getting beaten into that state, you just stood there, Governor. So why is it that now, when they're the ones taking the hits, you suddenly decide to step in?" The Governor let out a long sigh. He looked torn. Evan didn't wait for an answer. "I don't care who you are, sir. Governor or not, if you've got the guts to stick your nose in my business, I won't hesitate to go through you." The hall went dead silent. Threatening a governor in front of hundreds of guests? Some people forgot to breathe. Strangely enough, the Governor didn't get angry. He lowered his voice instead. "Young man, I'm asking you. Just this once, let it end here." He glanced at the Feris guards sprawled across the floor. "If someone dies tonight, I'll have a hard time explaining it." Evan tilted his head, then gave a thin smile. "What's so hard about it? As far as
Chapter 5 Breakfast with Two Beauties
That same night, in a lavish hall at the Feris family residence, the mood was heavy and suffocating. A lot of people had gathered there. Some were from Serli's family, the rest from the Feris family itself. In the head seat, Old Master Ferdi sat with a dark face, his fingers drumming nonstop on the armrest. The hall doors opened. A neatly dressed man walked in, looking defeated. "Well? Did you find out who that damn kid is?" Old Master Ferdi asked. The man lowered his head. "His identity can't be traced at all, Old Master. I only found one thing. He just arrived in this city this evening, on a private plane from Erose." Old Master Ferdi narrowed his eyes. "Erose..." he muttered. "That's one of the strong nations. Could he be from one of the powers over there?" Nobody could answer. "Father, so what do we do?" A grown woman spoke up, her eyes full of tears. She was Fero's mother. "We can't just sit here and do nothing after that bastard wrecked Fero's face like that, can we?"
Chapter 6 A Hundred Thousand Dollars a Head
The VIP room was spacious and quiet, with a large window overlooking a garden. A waiter set three menus on the table. Evan didn't even touch his. "I'm new in town, so I don't know what's good yet." He leaned back comfortably in his chair. "I'll let you two lovely ladies pick for me. Whatever you choose, I'll eat every last bite." "Then leave it to me, Young Master Evan." Bianca opened her menu at once, full of energy. "I know every signature dish here by heart." She lowered her head, her finger tracing page after page, now and then muttering to herself about what would go best for breakfast. Evan made the most of the opportunity. His eyes moved slowly, stealing glances at the chests of the two women in front of him. Bianca's blazer looked like it was working overtime to hold everything in, while Vanessa's simple dress only made those curves harder to ignore. Both were high, full, and equally mesmerizing. "Heaven on earth. This country never disappoints," Evan said to himself.
Chapter 7 Naughty, But Not a Bad Guy
Vanessa and Bianca hadn't expected Evan to know that much detail. The way he explained it was casual, like someone chatting about the weather. But strangely, there wasn't the slightest doubt in their hearts. They both believed him completely. "Oh, right, one more thing." Evan held up a finger. "Black Crow is one of the ten biggest assassin organizations in the world. Number seven, to be exact." Bianca swallowed hard. Number seven in the world, and yesterday those people had pressed a gun to her head. Vanessa took a slow breath, then lowered her head slightly. "Thank you for the information, Young Master Evan. It means a great deal to us." "It's no big deal. Relax." Evan waved it off. Then his smile turned mischievous. "By the way, though, a lot of people are after you right now, Miss Vanessa. How about you hire me as your personal bodyguard?" Vanessa gave him a flat look. "How could I possibly dare to hire you as my bodyguard, Young Master?" "Why wouldn't you dare? If you w
Chapter 8 I'm Her Boyfriend!
Vanessa's office was on the top floor. Spacious, tidy, and cold, exactly like its owner. Bianca went back to her desk outside, while Evan followed Vanessa in without the slightest hesitation. He went straight to the long sofa in the corner of the room, lay down, crossed his legs, and lit a cigarette. "You just get to work, Miss Vanessa. Pretend I'm not here." He waved a hand lazily. "Good luck, yeah?" Vanessa frowned. "This man really doesn't see himself as an outsider at all," Vanessa said to herself. "Young Master, smoking isn't allowed in my office," she scolded. "Make an exception just for me, okay?" Evan put on a pitiful face. "Just one. Please? Please?" Vanessa stared at him for a few seconds. She couldn't be bothered to argue with someone like this, because she knew she wouldn't win. In the end, she only sighed, sat down in her chair, and opened the file on her desk. Evan smiled in satisfaction and blew smoke toward the ceiling. === A short while later, there was a kn
Chapter 9 That Was Just an Act!
"You've got some nerve, yelling at my woman and threatening her right in front of me." Evan's voice was flat and cold. "Are you tired of living?" Young Master Dean leaned against the wall, gasping for breath. His chest felt like it had been hit with a hammer, and blood was still dripping from the corner of his mouth. He stared at Evan with a look of horror. This man hadn't touched him at all. He had only waved his hand. A cultivator. The street thug he'd insulted a moment ago turned out to be a cultivator. "You... you..." "Get the hell out of here." Evan didn't even bother to look at him. "If you're not gone in three breaths... I'll finish you off!" Young Master Dean struggled to his feet, one hand pressed against his chest. He staggered toward the door, but before leaving, he still managed to look back with eyes full of hatred. "Just you wait! I'll pay you back for this humiliation!" "Go on, run and tell that old geezer with one foot in the grave back at your house," Evan rep
Chapter 10 Four Elites, One Kick
Evan stepped out of the elevator. He didn't waste words. The next second his body vanished, then reappeared right in front of one of the men in suits. Bam! A fist wrapped in energy slammed into the man's chest. He was thrown backward, blood spraying from his mouth, then tumbled across the lobby floor and didn't move again. Out cold. In a single punch. Everyone froze! Not one person had seen Evan move. The three remaining men in suits hadn't even had time to raise their hands. Young Master Dean witnessed the whole thing from outside the entrance. "H-how is that possible!" he muttered. Dread crept up through him, and a chill fanned across his back. The four men he'd called in were cultivators at the peak of the Earth Warrior Realm. They were his family's elite fighters. And one of them had just dropped like a sack of rice. The three men in suits exchanged looks. Their faces were deadly serious now. "We attack together. He seems to be stronger than us!" Evan slid his hands ba
