Vanessa's office was on the top floor. Spacious, tidy, and cold, exactly like its owner.

Bianca went back to her desk outside, while Evan followed Vanessa in without the slightest hesitation. He went straight to the long sofa in the corner of the room, lay down, crossed his legs, and lit a cigarette.

"You just get to work, Miss Vanessa. Pretend I'm not here." He waved a hand lazily. "Good luck, yeah?"

Vanessa frowned.

"This man really doesn't see himself as an outsider at all," Vanessa said to herself.

"Young Master, smoking isn't allowed in my office," she scolded.

"Make an exception just for me, okay?" Evan put on a pitiful face. "Just one. Please? Please?"

Vanessa stared at him for a few seconds. She couldn't be bothered to argue with someone like this, because she knew she wouldn't win. In the end, she only sighed, sat down in her chair, and opened the file on her desk.

Evan smiled in satisfaction and blew smoke toward the ceiling.

A short while later, there was a knock on the door.

The room was soundproof, so Vanessa pressed the button for the special speaker on her desk.

"Come in."

The door opened. A female employee showed in a young man about Evan's age. He was neatly dressed, his suit was expensive, and his hair was slicked back. In his hand was a bouquet of red roses.

The moment he saw Vanessa, the man's eyes lit up.

"Good morning, Miss Vanessa." A bright smile spread across his lips.

On the sofa, Evan was still lying there comfortably. He looked at the man with one eyebrow raised.

Vanessa sent her employee away, then looked at her guest with an indifferent gaze.

"What business brings you to see me, Young Master Dean?"

"Miss Vanessa, may I sit down first?" Young Master Dean asked. He still hadn't noticed there was someone else in the room.

Vanessa nodded.

Young Master Dean sat in the chair in front of Vanessa's desk, then held out the bouquet in his hand.

"So, I'd like to discuss a partnership. But before that... please accept these. I remember you like roses. I bought them on my way here."

"Hehe. Since when does a business partnership come with roses?"

The voice came from the direction of the sofa.

Young Master Dean turned his head, and his expression changed instantly. A handsome man was lying comfortably on Vanessa's sofa, enjoying a cigarette as if the room belonged to him.

"Miss Vanessa, he's..."

"I'm her boyfriend!" Evan answered before Vanessa could even open her mouth.

Young Master Dean's face darkened at once.

Vanessa herself was dazed. Boyfriend? Since when?

Young Master Dean took a breath, trying to calm himself down. He looked at Vanessa.

"Miss Vanessa, is that true?"

Vanessa was quiet for a moment. Her eyes flicked to the bouquet of roses, then to the face of the man who, for years, had refused to understand the word no.

"It's true," she answered flatly. "He is my boyfriend."

Young Master Dean's breathing grew heavy. His face darkened even more.

Evan got up from where he was lying, sat upright, then propped both feet up on the table.

"If you want to talk about a partnership, go ahead. But only a partnership! Don't go mixing it up with matters of the heart." He pointed at the bouquet with his cigarette. "Those red roses of yours, just take them back home with you."

Young Master Dean fixed him with a sharp glare.

"You'd better stay away from Miss Vanessa."

Evan grinned.

"Yo, bro... why are you suddenly telling me to stay away from Vanessa?"

"What do you mean by telling him to stay away from me, Young Master Dean?" Vanessa asked as well, her tone cold.

"A man like him isn't worthy of you!" Young Master Dean pointed at Evan. "Just look at how he acts. He has no manners whatsoever! Lying around however he likes, smoking in someone else's office, putting his feet on the table. Someone like this has to be nothing but a street thug who's after your money!"

"Don't go badmouthing this handsome guy," Evan said casually. "You really think that if you do that... my beautiful woman is just gonna fall right into your arms?"

Young Master Dean went silent, his jaw tight.

"Young Master Dean, how many times have I told you?" Vanessa set down her pen. "Don't interfere in my personal affairs. It would be better if you kept your distance from me. I have never had any feelings for you."

As it turned out, Young Master Dean had been after Vanessa for a long time, and he'd been rejected more than once.

Young Master Dean's anger exploded. But he didn't take it out on Vanessa. He turned on Evan instead.

"Vanessa has to be my woman! You... if you want to stay safe... stay away from her!"

Evan laughed.

"Yo, and who exactly are you, huh? Which elite family are you from? You've got some nerve, telling me what to do! And you even dare to threaten me. How terrifying."

"I'm from the Dori family!" Young Master Dean lifted his chin. "A first-class family in this city! You ought to know what it costs to offend me."

He waited. He wanted to see the man go pale, start trembling, then rush to apologize.

Unfortunately, he was in for a disappointment. Evan's expression looked more like he was watching a clown.

Hearing that threat, it was Vanessa who got angry.

"Young Master Dean, you said earlier that you wanted to discuss a partnership. If you're not going to discuss it after all... please leave!"

"Miss Vanessa!" Young Master Dean's voice dropped low. "You would actually dare to throw me out?"

Evan got up from the sofa. He walked over to Vanessa, stood behind her chair, then placed both hands on her shoulders.

Vanessa's body froze. She shot Evan a sharp sidelong look.

Evan paid it no mind.

"Bro, you threatened me just now. Listen carefully." His smile was lazy. "That Dori family you're so proud of... hehe, in my eyes... it's nothing at all!"

Young Master Dean's face turned bright red. Never in his life had anyone looked down on him like this.

"You..." His finger pointed at Evan, trembling.

He rose from his chair and looked at Vanessa.

"Vanessa, just look at this man! He's so arrogant! If you stay with him..."

"That's enough!" Vanessa cut him off. "Young Master Dean, please leave! Stay out of my personal affairs!"

Bang!

Young Master Dean slammed his hand on the desk. His finger was now pointing straight at Vanessa's face.

"Vanessa! If you dare to offend me and still refuse to be my woman, I'm telling you right now, you'll regret it!" His voice was loud, echoing through the soundproof room. "You and your whole family..."

Evan's face turned cold.

His smile vanished.

He waved his hand, lightly, like he was swatting away a fly.

Whoosh!

A wave of energy slammed hard into Young Master Dean's chest. His body was thrown backward, crashed into the wall with a heavy thud, then slid down to the floor.

Fresh blood sprayed from his mouth.

The bouquet of red roses fell and scattered beside him.

Vanessa was stunned. She turned toward Evan, and for a moment she barely recognized the man who had done nothing but joke around all morning.

Evan stopped. His hand went still on Madam Sandra’s shoulder.“Madam,” he whispered hoarsely. “I wanna see these big beauties of yours for real.”“I already told you, only over the clothes!” Madam Sandra clutched her dress even tighter.“Come on, Madam...”Evan didn’t pull at her. Instead his hand went back over the fabric and squeezed her breast harder than before, slow but deep, as if reminding her body of what it had just been feeling.Madam Sandra bit her lip. Her breath hitched, and her body, starved for so long, grew even hotter. Her defenses crumbled bit by bit, not because of Evan, but because of herself.“Fine, do whatever you want...” she finally murmured, turning her face away. Her hands slowly let go of the dress.Evan drew the fabric down along with the black bra strap. As the sight beneath was laid bare under the dim glow of the bedside lamp, full, smooth, and pale, with reddish-brown peaks, Evan swallowed hard.“So beautiful...” he murmured in awe. “This big and not sag

Madam Sandra froze.Evan’s whisper had hit her like a bolt out of the blue. Her face burned, from her cheeks all the way to her ears.“H-help?” Her voice trembled. “Young Master, do you... do you even realize what you just said?”“Totally.” Evan smiled without a hint of shame. “You’re the one who asked, right? So I gave you an honest answer.”“I’m Vanessa’s mother!”“Yeah, I know.”“I’m way older than you!”“I know that too.” Evan leaned back and looked her over from head to toe. “So what? You’re the one who got me like this. Sitting next to me in a dress like that, smelling this good. I’m a normal guy, Madam. Not a statue.”Madam Sandra glanced toward the hallway. The lights in Vanessa’s and Bianca’s rooms were still on, and from Disa’s room came the faint sound of laptop keys clicking.“Keep your voice down!” she hissed. “If they hear...”“That’s why I’ve been whispering this whole time.”Madam Sandra was at a loss for words. She bit her lip and turned her face away.“He’s crazy...

  • Chapter 19 Flirting with Her Mother

This widowed mother of Vanessa’s still had a truly stunning allure. Her face was beautiful, her skin clear and firm, showing no sign of her age at all. The tight dress she wore clung to her body, revealing every curve. Her chest was enormous, even bigger than Bianca’s. Her hips were full, her backside round and plump. And on top of all that, she carried a calm, mature aura. An aura no young woman could ever imitate.“Madam,” Evan said casually, “you’re still really beautiful, and you look young, too. Why haven’t you married again?”Madam Sandra’s hand stopped over a glass. She froze for a moment. Then she let out a soft sigh, set the glass down, and smiled as she looked at Evan.“Finding a man you can rely on is very hard, Young Master.” Her voice was gentle. “You must know what the circles of elite families are like. Most of it is just about gain. What they look at is the family name, the wealth, the connections. Not the person.”Evan nodded. He understood perfectly. No matter the co

I’ll go along with your decision.”Bianca and Disa looked at each other, then agreed as well.“I’ll go too,” Madam Sandra said calmly. “If I’m there, I can keep an eye on the three of them.”Evan looked at Madam Sandra. The mature woman sat gracefully in a dress that hugged her ripe curves.“A beautiful older woman with a hot body at the villa. Not bad at all. Hehe,” Evan said to himself.“How nice it would be if I could stay at Young Master’s villa too.”That gentle voice came from where the Citra family was seated. Nadia was resting her chin on her hand, a small smile on her lips. Maybe she was envious, maybe there was some other reason.“If you want to, Miss Nadia, you’re welcome to!” Evan answered in a hurry.Vanessa and Bianca glared at him on reflex.“That bastard!” Bianca cursed in her heart.Nadia giggled. Her eyes flicked briefly to Vanessa’s cold face, then to Bianca’s annoyed one.“I’m only joking, Young Master. But if I ever

"Oh." Evan blew out his cigarette smoke, his tone dismissive. "And here I thought it was some big family..."Everyone was taken aback. The Yudi family of Cloud City, stronger than two first-class families combined, and this young man talked about them like he was discussing a food stall at the end of the street?"Young Master, what do you mean?" Old Master Jaya asked."Come on, relax." Evan waved a hand. "This family's going to be just fine."It didn't sound serious at all. But Old Master Jaya's face lit up at once, like a man who had just had a weight lifted off him."That's good... thank you, Young Master. Thank you.""Grandpa." Vanessa's voice trembled. Tears ran down her cheeks. "Can't you just not go and fight?""Yes, that's right, Father!" Madam Sandra added. "We still want you alive!"Old Master Jaya smiled peacefully."I still want to live too. Evan looked over the women in the hall one by one.The one who caught his attention most was a young woman sitting beside Old Master Pandu. Her beauty was on par with Vanessa’s. The difference was that she wasn’t cold at all. Her gaze was gentle, and there was a faint, friendly smile on her lips.“That’s my granddaughter, Nadia,” said Old Master Pandu, who had caught where Evan was looking.Nadia nodded politely. Evan answered with his best smile. Then his eyes moved to a mature woman sitting near Vanessa. Her face looked a little like Vanessa’s, only more refined, with a charm that only a woman her age could have.“And this is my daughter, Sandra. Vanessa’s mother,” Old Master Jaya introduced her. His voice dropped a little. “Vanessa’s father passed away in an accident a long time ago.”Madam Sandra smiled and bowed her head to Evan.“Thank you for saving my daughter, Young Master.”“You’re welcome, Madam.”Evan had just learned one thing.
