Though I expected something about my E-Rank skill being unique and special due to it being a growth-type skill, it has already been several months, and yet there were no guides or hints on how my skill could be developed.

"Growth type my ass! The skill description doesn't even give me hints about my skill! How can I let this useless E-rank skill grow!?"

"I guess an E-Rank skill would still be an E-Rank skill after all."

After my father, Damian, had shown his skill status.

*Skill: Moonlight Swordsmanship, Skill Rank: S*

There was no skill type written on the skill status that was displayed in front of me.

Therefore, I wondered and did some research. But after several months had passed, there was nothing I could find that mentioned growth-type skills in every book that I could find in our household.

Meanwhile, I practiced using my skill whenever I got some spare time, and when I used my skill, string manipulator, I could summon and release strings from the palms of my hands.

It reminded me of a superhero movie I used to watch back in my previous world, Sling Man: Far From Earth.

Well, there were still a lot of things lacking in my skill. First, it wasn't as sturdy as I'd expected it to be. And unlike magical strings that existed in this world, mine were a bit normal and soft.

I can't either swing around the branches like I wish I'd be able to do, nor can I even use it as a tie to hold something down.

"For fuck sake, how bad could this skill be!?"

"Was my skill really just for sewing!?"

My mind was filled with negativity due to my weird skill being excessively useless.

I grumbled a lot inside my room while lying on my king-sized bed, regretting why my newly awakened skill had become utterly useless. "I guess God wanted me to be a fashion designer in this world."

Since this world's ethics and designs were undoubtedly old-fashioned.

Even their means of transportation were still being carried by carriages.

Did I perhaps get reincarnated in a medieval era?" I mumbled inside my head.

*Knock*

"Young master? The Duchess is currently looking for you." Helena said in a loud tone.

I immediately got up from my bed and wore the attire that had been prepared for me earlier by Nanny Helena.

"Coming!" I hurriedly ran towards the door and fixed my composure.

It was yet another bright, sunny day, and beams of sunlight passed through the hallway windows. And several manservants were seen all over our huge household.

"Good morning, young master."

"Good morning, young master."

Greetings came from left to right, while I nodded at them and greeted them back, "Good morning guys." With a bright smile on my face.

"Isn't the young master charming? He's totally different than those arrogant nobles~"

"Yes, that's our young master we're talking about anyway~"

They gossiped openly as they praised my behavior, while I walked past with an embarrassed expression and pretended that I didn't hear them.

Well, I guess I'm a bit different since I've never really been an original noble. I felt guilty and happy at the same time, since I have memories of my previous world." I mumbled in my head.

Though this kind of personality of mine has been attached to me since I was still living in my previous world, I've never met any other nobles after getting birthed. I thought of them as similar to me, but I guess commoners view them differently.

Well, it doesn't really bother me. What bothers me right now is how I got this useless skill. Ugh...."

String Manipulator, I tried and manipulated some strings that were brought by Nanny Helena, but it was so difficult to control the strings. As if I were carrying loads of baggage around my arms.

I was deeply excited for several years; I even trained and honed my mana manipulation technique since obtaining a stronger mana core meant acquiring a high-ranking skill.

But it was all for naught. My skill might be a bit special since it's a growth-type skill, but what am I supposed to do when I don't even have any ounce of knowledge that could potentially develop the growth of my skill?

This is such a drag...."

The extravagant double doors, which had petals engraved in them, slowly opened while the dining table was filled with different types of dishes. Assorted sweet courses were placed at the center along with the drinks.

"Axel! Sit here." My mother said in a loud tone.

I immediately coughed and acted cutesy once again. "Coming mother~" I replied in an appealing tone.

I sat in front of my mother while she dined and asked, "Mother, where's father?"

"Oh, he's been pretty busy lately. Don't worry, your father will be coming here in no time."

"Okay mother."

As I've expected, my father has been pretty busy lately due to some territorial affairs.

The neighboring forest, Eldia, had been producing a lot of monster beasts lately.

And yes, monster beasts exist in this world.

Monster beasts were known as demon pets since they were contracted with demons.

Before they became aggressive beasts, they were once animals that lived happily in the vicinity of the forests that surrounded Helium.

After the Great War occurred, demons managed to slip through Helium and contract with several beings, and some of them became monster beasts.

After the demons completely disappeared, their demon pets hid in various locations and reproduced through breeding.

That's why, until this day, the monster beasts' grew in numbers in different locations while subtly terrorizing the human settlements that were close to the vast forests that surrounded Helium.

Well, that was what my mother told me..."

Anyway, worrying about the monster beasts in Eldia Forest was nothing to be concerned about since the unrivaled swordmaster still continues to exploit the vast forest of Eldia and continue their monster beast subjugation.

While here I am, eating luxurious dishes happily with my mother.

There's always a certain rule when it comes to being reincarnated in a vast magical world where common sense from Earth doesn't apply.

And of course, it's adventure."

Venturing through the world, exploring, and discovering the world's history is a "must do" once you're reincarnated.

But here I am, happily eating with my mother, who has an S-rank skill, while my father's the unrivaled swordmaster who's currently keeping Eldia in check.

Why did I obtain such a useless skill!?"

I could have been hunting monsters right now with an S-rank combat skill, or I could have been venturing the lands with some party members and supporting them with an S-rank healing skill."

Why!? Why! Does it have to be an E-rank skill for which I can't even determine its usefulness!?"

"Axel? Are you alright? Why are you frowning?" My mother asked.

"Oh, it was nothing, mother." *Cough*

Remember, act cutesy, act cutesy...."

Fuck, if only I'd obtained a combat skill rather than this useless string manipulator, which is only good for sewing."

Sigh...."

.....

.....

....

"Axel, We'll be attending a ball later this afternoon. Make sure to prepare and wear something cute, okay?" Alexandra said as she rubbed Axel's cheeks softly.

"Okay mother." Axel replied with slight dissatisfaction.

I'd better remove the negative thoughts and focus on the upcoming ball that we'll be attending. Since this'll be my first time leaving the household."

Why are they all coming towards us?" Mayu wondered, confused, why the draconians were rushing towards their position.Axel stood and used his mana armament while tightly gripping his chained blades.Dalius instantly rained several swords coated in mana towards them, while Axel deflected the incoming swords simultaneously.*Clung!!!*Why...? Why is it so heavy!" Axel thought deeply while deflecting the swords that somehow overpowered him even with the boost of mana armament."Keke! A child is still a child, boy!" Dalius mumbled and laughed evilly. While Mayu suppressed the draconian knights with her ice skills, she completely created an ice barrier that had pointy edges and surrounded them with a certain radius. The Draconian Knights instantly halted their approach and took a few steps back, while Erza appeared in mid

It was to murder Gileyn, who stabbed her precious daughter."Die!" As his claws came closer towards Gileyn, who stood off guard with her sword stuck on Mayu's back. Her smile showed hints of satisfaction, while Almasin was seeping with rage.As soon as his claws got closer to Gileyn's face, a shield barrier instantly blocked off his attack, pushing him back after the collision.Gileyn smirked, glancing towards Barto, who raised his hand towards her while facing Elder Beru.Garudo, on the other hand, was preparing; he gathered and circulated the mana inside him.

  • An Ambush

The Monster people stood in awe after witnessing the miraculous healing that Axel had shown.Healing mostly occurs over a longer period of time, depending on the wound's size. Especially a large and deep cut that Kibaki had would gradually take longer to heal, even with S-Rank healing skills."Um..."Why is everyone staring at me? I feel so embarrassed somehow." Axel pondered, Slightly showing an embarrassed expression.I never thought that a human child could possess such healing abilities. Even the Dog people who mostly acquired S-Rank Healing skills can't heal a wound as severe as Kibaki's in an instant." Almasin thought, staring intently at Axel."Please stop staring at him, everyone. He's a bit shy." Erza uttered. The monster people then started coughing and went their way, while Kibaki was still astonished after feeling regenerated from the pain he had been enduring."Um. Thank you." He mumbled.Erza then held Axel's shoulder and said, "He said thank you."Axel nodded and replie

After several hours passed, Axel and the others finally reached the center plains of the forest. The wind breezed as it welcomed their arrival. There was no one to be seen. Neither trees nor piles of rocks were seen on the vast central plains.Only tall grasses and mushed bushes were to be found in the vicinity of the entire center plains.Monster people immediately started building removable tents, while others lied on the ground, gasping heavily due to exhaustion. While those who still had the energy immediately mobilized themselves to secure the area.Axel and Erza were removing the silver platform they had used when they were approached by Elder Garudo."Hello, Thank you for helping us." Elder Garudo said politely, showing hints of gratitude in his voice."You are welcome, Elder... "Garudo, You can call me Garudo.""Oh, okay, Elder Garudo. This boy here cannot understand Laplace language, So if you want to tell him something, please pass it unto me." Erza said, Holding Axel's shou

  • Change Of Plans

Near the Center Plains, Azard's corpse is located.Demise, Barto, Gileyn, and Dalius stood in front of Azard's corpse. His body was slowly being connected to the ground. Vines were sticking through his skin while he was slowly being dragged into the soil.Demise trembled, showing hints of remorse in his wavering eyes. Azard was once known to be the hardest to kill due to having a unique deviant skill through which he could manifest his skill's elemental properties. But how come you still died like this...?" Demise pondered miserably, kneeling in front of Azard's corpse."Commander, we'll have to take a day to rest and replenish our mana. We've been flying for several hours continuously," Gileyn said."Barto, Dalius! Immediately bury Azard's corpse!" Demise said loudly while staring into the sky.Barto and Dalius nodded. They immediately followed Demise's orders and buried Azard's corpse in the same location where he was found."Whoever killed him, we will find them and kill them. Brea

Douglas mumbled as his pace became slower due to exhaustion and being sleep deprived.Douglas knew that the beast people wouldn't bother unless they successfully reached their territory. Since Draconians won't carelessly act irrationally against the Beast people."So by any means, we must escape this forest in order to survive," Douglas murmured to himself, showing a distressful expression."Douglas! Wait up!"Douglas immediately stopped and turned around to check. There he saw Mayu, Almasin, Erza, and Axel running towards him.Huh? Why are they following me?" Douglas wondered, since he knew that Almasin wouldn't let her daughter go back to a dangerous place..........A few minutes earlier, Douglas left in a hurry."Pa
