Aleric wasn't scared when he lost all access to his mana and magic. If it happened to another person, they would have lost their cool and started looking for a way outside of the dungeon but Aleric is different. Instead of seeing this as an obstacle, Aleric saw it as a challenge and a way to get stronger.

The dungeon is tranquil, it was just an open field. There wasn't even a monster or danger in sight. Aleric decided to explore it to know more about it. There was nothing different between this dungeon and the outside world. Apart from the lack of any form or habitat, every other thing is normal.
