I turn around and see Marilyn and Mom staring at me intensely. Mom is accompanied by Mrs. Valindra, and Gustav is standing nearby with a gloomy expression. 

Adrian isn't here. Maybe he went to integrate with a system, like me, since he's also an awakened one.

Without wasting time, I power walk toward them, giving Mom and Mrs. Valindra a deep bow as I get closer.

Contrary to my expectations, Mom suddenly pulls me into a tight hug, pressing my head against her chest.

"Where have you been, Alex? You came back later than the other kids," Mom says worriedly while caressing my hair.

"I'm surprised too, Mom. I was the first to enter the awakening room, but I came out late."

"Fufu, despite its small appearance, the awakening tower is actually bigger than you think, with many awakening rooms inside. So, don't let it bother you," Mom replies while continuing to caress my hair.

"Cough… Isn't it degrading for the elven queen to be this affectionate with her son in public?" Mrs. Valindra suddenly speaks up, letting out fake coughs and putting on a stoic expression.

Mom chuckles.

"There's a difference between family and roles. Just because of my role, I won't forsake my duty as a mother like some people," Mom replies, flashing a smile.

"Humph…"

Sigh… These two women surely don't get along.

"By the way, how was your awakening, Prince Alex?" Valindra suddenly asks me, fanning herself with a fancy-looking hand fan.

"...."

"Valindra!" Mom interrupts sternly, giving Mrs. Valindra a strong glare.

"Fine… Fine, my bad. I forgot that it's taboo to talk about one's system," Mrs. Valindra replies with a shabby expression.

"Mom, I guess I don't have to wait for you," Gustav suddenly announces and starts levitating in the air before flying in the direction of Pliheld Square.

"Wait… G-Gustav…" Mrs. Valindra stutters while chasing after Gustav, who is almost out of our view.

Mmm… What's Gustav's Quirk… Since my system is kind of glitched, shouldn't I be able to check other people's systems? I know it's wrong and taboo, but there's no harm in trying.

I guess I can't inspect others' systems. Since systems are tailored for each user, Gustav's quirk should be related to his talent. Even though I have many ideas about different types of quirks, I can't pinpoint the exact type Gustav has since most of them are flight-related quirks.

Suddenly, I hear heavy footsteps approaching. Raising my head, I see Adrian coming in our direction with a wide smile on his face, his bald head sparkling under the bright sun.

"I'm done, your majesty. Should we get going?" Adrian asks with a bow.

Taking a look at Marilyn, Adrian's face turns slightly red, but Marilyn doesn't seem to be paying any attention to him. Her gaze has been focused on me all this while.

Wait… Don't tell me that Adrian has a crush on Marilyn… What the heck?

"Let's get going then…" Mom answers and instantly waves her hand, casting a spell.

With a bright flash, we suddenly teleport in front of our carriage.

After traveling for a while, the palace's gigantic structure appears before my eyes.

As we approach, the carriage's speed drastically increases. The road leading to the palace is so smooth that the carriage runs at an insane speed.

Once we reach the parking lot, we step down from the carriage and head toward our respective destinations.

I'm currently going to my quarters, with Marilyn following closely behind. Ever since the awakening ceremony, she has seemed a bit gloomy and unhappy. Is something bothering her?

Marilyn pauses for a moment...

"Well... I'm going to my sister's place."

"Okay, I understand," Marilyn replies with a small bow and continues moving forward without looking back.

Once she's out of sight, I start running toward Anya's quarters.

[Master's maid seems to be in love with him.]

Sigh. This system...

Firstly, I need to test my capabilities with this fragile body. I want to see how much power I can exert. The only person I can turn to for assistance right now is my sister.

With that thought in mind, I pick up my pace.

I quickly notice that I don't get tired as easily as before, and I feel like I can even move four times faster. Furthermore, there's a strange energy building up around me.

After some time, I arrive at a large field with numerous trees.

She should be here; it's her favorite spot.

I mumble while scanning the field.

Suddenly, my eyes fixate on someone with their back facing me.
