“Come in.” Lorraine heard the voice of her grandfather authorizing for her to come in. Ridding her face of the forlorn expression invented after her talk with Aiden, she grabbed the knob pushing the door open for her entry.

Her gaze was on the floor, where she repeatedly calm her nerve to whatever Lennox has to say to her is not something to be tensed about.

Slowly her heartbeat calmed down as she raised her gaze, up and facing her front to see her grandfather out on his chair and his body tied against it.

Her lips stretched widely in shock with her eyes moving over to the man standing right next to him with a gun in his hand and pointed it directly on Lennox’s head.

Seeing the shocked on Lorraine’s face the strange man dressed in all black curled up an evil grin. “Surprise.” He voiced in a sarcastic tone, his hand clicking on the phone between his palm, replaying the voice of Lennox that had said “Come in.”
