“Tell her what?”

Faye and Oscar looked over to the voice intruding the scene. Charlotte walked further into the room.

“Tell her what? What are you telling and who are you telling?” She asked as she came close to where they are.

“Nothing, no one. Aunt what are you doing here?” Faye answered, pulling away from Oscar and getting on her feet as she readjusted herself, including wiping the tears stain on her eyes that wasn’t that noticeable until a close look is given.

“Oh me. I’m looking for your father.” Her eyes darted to Oscar after the response. “Where is grandfather? I told you awhile ago about the people asking for him, then plead for you to go help me get him downstairs, which you agreed to, now where is he?” Charlotte stood with her hands on her wrist as she spoke to Oscar in a vexed tone.

“I’m sorry. I will go get him how.” Oscar apologized in a quiet voice, standing up and exiting their midst.
