The moment Leon said that, everyone blinked, staring at him, wondering what had gotten into his head.
"Sister..." Allen wanted to say something, but a glare from Camila shut him up. "Leon, what are you saying?" Camila asked slowly, for some reason, she wanted to believe Leon. But she was the one who had arranged the banquet, and supervised everything, so how could the drink be poisoned. "I...." "Don't listen to his nonsense," One of the family members cut off Leon when was about to explain. "Are you trying to say we'll dare poison our grandmother?" "Or do you think Camila who organized this banquet didn't make sure everything was perfect?" Leon's expression shifted but he didn't say more. Seemed like that was the culprit talking. Though he wasn't really sure about it. But he had dealt with so many issues in the past that he knew how to identify a suspect easily. "Sorry about that, you can carry on," Leon smiled and didn't say more. It would be pointless, if he continued to argue trying to convince them it was poisoned. With that, everyone ignored Leon and all drank the drink, including Anna. After the toast, everyone glanced at Anna, then at Leon waiting for something to happen. But nothing did. A minute flashed by, then two minutes. Then five minutes. "I knew..." Just as the voice sounded, Anna who seemed to be fine suddenly held her chest, as she bent forward, coughing dark blood and blood flowed out of her nose. Before anyone could react, her body went limp and she fell straight to the floor. But luckily, before she could fall, Camila came back to her senses and rushed forward, grabbing Anna. "Doctor! Someone, call the doctor!" She roared, panic flashing in her eyes. With her roar, everyone instantly snapped back to their senses. Someone quickly ran outside to call the doctor. At the same time, everyone stared at Leon strangely. If they had known, they would have believed him. Leon stood, watching without uttering a word. His eyes were like that of a hawk, scanning every single soul inside the hall. And there, he caught it. Within the panic gaze of everyone, a dangerous glint was directed at him and it came from the line of the family. Seemed like his stay with the Ashford would be anything but Chaotic. Soon enough, the doctor, a middle-aged man rushed into the hall with his tool. Helping Camila, he laid Anna gently on the floor and took out his equipment. "It's poison," he muttered, just loud enough for everyone to hear. Hearing that, everyone stared at Leon once again. The doctor had confirmed it, meaning he was right. Camila also shot Leon a glance wondering how he had known about the poison. "Please save her," Camila turned to the doctor, pleading. "I..." The doctor stuttered, shaking his head. "The poison has mixed with her bloodstream, I'm afraid there's nothing I can do about it," He concluded, a trace of sadness could be felt in his voice. Camila froze, tears flowed down her face as she couldn't believe this was how her grandmother would die. "I'm sorry, miss, my condolences," The doctor bowed slightly, "Why condemn someone who isn't dead yet to death?" Leon's voice sounded before Camila could say anything. "What are you implying?" The doctor's face changed, raising his head to glance at Leon. “If that’s your conclusion…” Leon tilted his head slightly. “Then your title means nothing.” "How dare you!" The doctor flew into a rage, pointing at Leon, steam rising from his head. "I'm not wrong," Leon spread out his arms. "Cause you can't do something doesn't mean others wouldn't be able to." Hearing Leon's arrogant statement, the doctor smirked, "You saying you can extract the Poison from her bloodstream?" "Yep," Leon nodded, stopping a few meters away. "If you can do it, then I, Henry would give up my certificate and stop being a doctor," He sneered in contempt. "You said that, don't forget to keep to your word," Leon laughed, squatting by Camila's side. "Let me handle it," He said slowly, his voice soft, carrying a wave of confidence. "I..." Camila hesitated, but in the end still let Leon treat her grandmother. "Camila, what do you think you're doing?" One of Camila's Uncle spoke, stopping Leon who was about to start the treatment. "Letting someone of an unknown origin treat grandmother?" "What if..." "Uncle, let him try, the doctor has already pronounced her dead," Camila interrupted, trying to find a hint of hope. She wished they had listened to Leon when he said the wine was poisoned. But how had he known. As for who had done it, she wasn't a fool and could roughly guess the work of who it was. "Carry on Leon," Camila gestured at Leon. Taking Anna's pulse, Leon shook his head. The poison wasn't that powerful, but it was lethal. Coupled with what was in her body, it had caused quite some effect. But first, he would need to get rid of the Poison that had mixed with her blood stream. To do that was simple. First, he needed to insert needles into her acupoints and stop the blood flow. Then stimulate the poison and guide it to gather in a spot. Leon worked as he thought about this. His movement, clean and precise, shocking everyone. Even the doctor who had been quite arrogant just now froze, his eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets as he watched Leon work. Even Camila was no exception. She couldn't believe the husband she had randomly chosen would have such a skill. Soon Leon was done gathering the poison to a spot on Anna's body. He has chosen her left arm and now, it was dark purple. "Got a scalpel?" Leon turned to the doctor who nodded almost immediately. Giving Leon the scalpel, he carefully cut the part, gently squeezing out the blood. After that, he then stopped the bleeding, bandaging the arm and then removed the needles. After that, he patted the old lady's back gently.Latest Chapter
Mass Poisoning
The next second, under the watchful gaze of everyone, the old lady gasped, as she opened her eyes."Grandmother!" Camila screamed, hugging Anna who was still gasping for air."Careful, she's not too good yet," Leon chuckled, pulling Camila away."Impossible," The doctor's eyes nearly flew out of their sockets as he rushed towards Anna.Bringing out his equipment, he began to examine her. A while later, he nearly collapsed as he couldn't believe what he had seen. The poison was all gone. How did Leon do it?Though the process looked simple on the surface, he could swear it was not simple at all."Grandmother, let me help you," Leon ignored the doctor, helping Anna stand."Leon," Anna called softly, feeling a wave of guilt in her heart."Yes, grandmother," Leon smiled gently, he didn't hold the old woman's disbelief on her. After all, even if he was the one, he wouldn't have believed it."I'm sorry for not believing in what you said," Anna said slowly."It's fine, grandmother, I underst

Poison
The hall fell silent, everyone stared at Leon incredulously, not believing their eyes.Allen's face burned, eyes red as he glared at Leon, wishing he could cut the latter into a thousand pieces.Camila, though shocked, smiled lightly. She had been a bit worried Leon would cave in to her brother's threat. But it seemed like she was thinking too much. Though a pauper, he seemed to have some backbone.Seemed like she had accidentally picked up a gem. Well, she wanted to see how far he could go."Good, very good," Allen broke into laughter, pulling everyone back to their senses."I like you,""But I don't," Leon shot back.Again, the hall fell silent, no one daring to say anything. And even Camila was shocked even more.He was just too straightforward. In truth, no one would like someone like Allen, but no one would dare say it to his face. Yet, her husband had done that."You..." Allen gritted his teeth, glaring daggers at Leon."You've successfully pissed me off," He forced a smile, his

"Miss Camila," James instantly broke out into a smile, hurrying up to Camila, approaching the scene slowly."I'm James, Son of Joe Parker," James continued, trying to flatter Camila as he stretched his hands out for a handshake.Camila stopped in her tracks, shot James a glance, then walked past him as if she hadn't seen him.Instantly, James' face burned, gritting his teeth as he tried to suppress the wave of embarrassment and anger that hit him. After all, Camila's status was far above his. He had to respect her no matter what.Taking in a deep breath, he turned around to see where she was headed only to freeze as she stopped by Leon."Are you good?" Camila spoke slowly, her voice low, but enough to send shock waves into the crowd.Who here didn't know Camila. She was a cold CEO, managing the Ashford companies in the city.Yet, she was asking a man of an unknown origin if he was okay.Katie blinked, as she couldn't believe her ears. Arrogant Couple
"Master, we've arrived," Dark Knight broke the silence, glancing at Leon who had his head on the seat as they pulled up before a magnificent hall."Alright," Leon muttered, alighting from the car. After treating Dark Knight, he went to get a pair of new clothes. Though not formal, it was enough to attend the banquet. While buying the clothes, he had asked Dark Knight about Camila. It turned out that his new wife was from one of the top families in Oakdale and also the eldest daughter of the family. The Ashford Family.Well, he wasn't too surprised, he had guessed her identity. But he still hadn't expected it."Sir, here," Dark Knight suddenly called, handing Leon a dark wrapped bag as he was about to walk into the building."What's this?" Leon frowned slightly, taking the bag from Dark Knight."Since you're attending a birthday banquet, I felt it wouldn't be befitting if you had no gift, so I prepared one.""I see," Leon muttered, staring at the bag."Thanks."With that, he turned aro

"I...""It's fine, answer the call," Leon gestured, allowing Dark Knight to answer the call.Minutes later, Dark Knight ended the call and placed the phone down slowly."You know Master, it's the rest of the members that called just now," Dark Knight spoke slowly, avoiding Leon's gaze.Hearing this, Leon's expression darkened, but he didn't say anything and just listened to Dark Knight."I informed them you were alive after the call and now, they are all seeking to come," Dark Knight carried on, grinning slightly as he looked forward to the arrival of the members. Finally, they could gather again like they used to. It had been five years since such a gathering occurred."Inform them to head back," Leon instructed, his voice low but firm.“I know you’re excited,” He continued, his expression softening,"But that's not a good idea."He knew his members. With their status and the excitement flowing through their veins of wanting to meet him, there was a huge chance they would cause a loc
