Chapter 1

Beginning

Thunder rumbled and lightning flashed. The heavy downpour increased, instantly drenching all those under it not caring about their status.

In the heavy downpour, a man clad in a yellow raincoat, drenched ran into the shelter of his apartment building.

Fatigue was written on his face as he panted trying to catch his breath. Rain drops dripped down his raincoat slowly but steadily.

After a while, Leon recovered, glancing around the empty apartment, he breathed in a sigh of relief.

Dropping the suitcase, he prepared to undress when a low moan suddenly reached his ears.

"Ahh.. you're... you're so good..."

"Please..please... Don't stop..."

"Do you want it?"

"Yes...yes... Please..."

The moans reached Leon's ears, intensifying with each second.

Leon froze, feeling as though he had been struck by lightning.

That voice, it sounded like Katie.

"Baby..baby... Please give me more..."

"You sure you need it?"

"Yes...yes..."

The moans became even louder making Leon's body shake heavily. His hands trembled, his eyes became bloodshot, and his legs shook, seemingly unable to bear the wrath.

A murderous aura slowly seeped out of his body. Though it was faint, it would have been enough to scare anyone who was nearby.

After a while, Leon came back to his senses. The moans had intensified nearly filling the apartment.

Without hesitation, Leon walked slowly towards the room, he could feel his heart thumping heavily against his chest while he silently prayed.

Who knows what he was praying for. But his prayers weren't answered.

The instant Leon got to the door, he took in a deep breath and pushed it open.

What fell before his eyes was something he struggled to process.

Laying naked on the bed was his wife. Sitting right on her was a male figure, both engaging in an activity only a couple would...

"Katie...Katie..." Leon stuttered, his eyes nearly popping out of their sockets.

The instant his voice fell, panic ensued and the two instantly froze, trying to cover their bodies.

"Leon?" Katie's expression changed sitting up seeing Leon standing by the door.

"I..."

"So that’s him?” The male figure inched closer, hugging Katie, pressing her naked body onto his.

Leon watched, feeling blood rush into his veins, his anger surged, and the murderous aura which had been suppressed, slowly seeped out again.

"Yes..." Katie answered, her voice filled with disdain as she glanced at Leon.

"Since you've happened to see it, then there's no need to hide it anymore," She scoffed, pulling away the blanket and putting on a night gown before slowly stepping out of the bed.

"Sign this and get out of my face..." Katie continued, grabbing a document laying on the table, throwing it at Leon.

"I...." Leon wanted to talk but the words were stuck in his throat. A heart wrenching pain cut slowly through him as he struggled to stabilize himself.

Five years ago, he had awoken, with no memories of his past or whatsoever. The only thing he could remember was his name.

His wife's grandfather took him in, got him married to his wife and the whole family treated him nicely.

But that quickly came to an end the moment the old man passed away. Not only was he treated with scorn, his wife would leave home for days.

He was turned into an errand boy and he worked tirelessly just to satisfy everyone. And yet... He was met with this.

Thinking about this, Leon clenched his fist, his fingers digging into his flesh as a faint sense of disgust rose within him.

"Fine, I'll sign it," He spoke slowly, picking up the papers.

For some reason he didn't understand, his disgust grew with each second and it was as though he would puke if he continued to stay in the same room with this adulterous couple.

Katie narrowed her brows, her chest tightened. She could feel it. Something about him was different.

But she couldn't care less about that. He was a useless man. Even if something changed within him, what could he do?

Signing the papers, Leon turned around, walking slowly out of the room.

"Bro, it's a pity you've never had a taste of this woman," The man's mocking voice came just as Leon was about to step out.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure to take care of her...." The man continued, laughing wildly as he pulled Katie who had climbed onto the bed closer.

"If you can't bear to leave, perhaps, you can stay outside and listen to her screams. You could make do with that," He snickered, Katie moaning from his touch.

"I...."

The man froze suddenly as Leon stopped on his tracks turning to look at him. It was not the stop that terrified him, but the look in Leon's eyes.

The man's body shook, his heart pounding heavily as his eyes widened.

"Leon, get the heck out of my house!" Katie's yell came, pulling the man back to his senses, beads of sweat forming across his face.

Leon sighed and turned around, walking out of the room and out of the house.

The heavy downpour was still active. The night was ripe and not a single soul could be seen.

Leon walked along the road side, blank not even knowing how to feel. He thought maybe he could live without any problems.

He couldn't remember his origin, neither could he remember what had happened in the past.

Now, he was divorced and kicked out. Where would he go?

Without a destination, Leon continued to walk along the road, oblivious to what was happening.

The rain blurred his vision. His head down, he stepped into the road without noticing the headlights.

Just as he was lost in his thoughts, a loud honk sounded, pulling him back to his senses, but before Leon could move out of the way, the car hit sending him flying.

Leon hit the floor with his head, a faint excruciating pain spread across his body and the one in his head intensified.

Slowly, his consciousness began to fade while the pain in his head became intense.

"Hey, are you Okay!" A voice came as footsteps rushed forward.

But Leon was too weak to move as blood slowly flowed from his broken skin.

At the same time, the pain in his head intensified and all of a sudden, flashes of the past echoed in his mind.

"Farewell Master!"

"Brother, promise me you'll live an ordinary Life from now on!"

"I'm sorry brother. I'm sure you won't blame me when you finally remember."

The memories became clearer and tears flowed down Leon's face. But the pain that came with it wasn't something he could endure anymore and the next second, everywhere went dark.
