Diana’s eyes widened, her heart pounding faster than usual.

The sound of a birthday song played. The camera showed a room filled with colorful balloons, a large cake, and a clown dancing in the center. Guests laughed, danced, and raised their glasses in celebration.

Everyone looked happy, enjoying what appeared to be a kindergarten-style birthday party in the video.

Diana’s emotions exploded. She felt mocked by Ali. This was not the file she wanted.

She grabbed the phone on the table and called Ali again, her anger overflowing.

“Ali, what kind of video did you just send me?” Diana shouted, her face flushed red.

“What do you mean, Madam?” Ali asked, confused.

“Look at it yourself! Is that really last night’s CCTV footage? Why don’t I see any chaos at all?” Diana demanded, clenching her fist tightly. “Are you trying to toy with me?”

On the other end of the line, Ali panicked. “Please calm down, Madam. Let me check the video file again!”

Ali immediately rechecked the files he had obtained from Hero Café’s CCTV recordings, and ....

“Madam, this isn’t right! The video has changed!”

“How could it change?” Diana asked, feeling even more mocked.

“I–I don’t know either. But please believe me, Madam! We didn’t edit anything!” Ali’s voice trembled in panic. “It’s possible … possible that someone infiltrated our system and altered the CCTV footage!”

“Bastard!” Diana roared angrily. “Find out immediately who dared to break in and tamper with our CCTV files!”

Diana was furious beyond measure. The video on the screen was absurd and clearly not the real recording. There were even cartoon sound effects when the clown smashed a cake into a child’s face.

Her face turned crimson, her breathing ragged. Suddenly, she staggered and clutched her chest.

“That child!”

“That child is deliberately picking a fight with me!”

“Madam!” Ali, still on the line, grew even more panicked. “Madam, what should we do? Should I report this incident to the police?”

“No need,” Diana replied after a moment of thought. “I’m worried this will only damage the Wijaya Family’s reputation.”

It might be easy to capture Jay and his group with police assistance. However, Diana did not want the plans she had carefully laid out over the years to fail because of this small incident.

“Then what should we do now?” Ali asked anxiously.

“Clean up the place immediately. As for the rest, I’ll handle it myself,” Diana said firmly.

“Y–Yes, Madam.”

Diana ended the call in irritation.

It didn’t matter if she suffered a small loss today. It was insignificant compared to the Wijaya Family’s vast wealth—especially once she secured all the official certificates, whose whereabouts were currently unknown.

Diana took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

“Just wait for my retaliation, you damn brat.”

The next day, dark clouds hung over Gem City, as if the sky itself was harboring anger that had yet to explode.

Inside a secret room belonging to the Wijaya Family, several people dressed in black were busy scanning data at high speed. They were all under Diana Legiani’s command.

On a wide white wall, a digital map of the city was displayed, red dots glowing at several cafés, ports, and other important locations.

In the center of the room stood a man with a firm posture and eyes as sharp as an eagle’s. His name was Dimas Surya, Diana’s most trusted subordinate.

“So they managed to access the main CCTV system and replace it with a clown animation?” Dimas muttered, half impressed, half enraged. “Those punk kids are something else.”

Ali, sitting nearby with a wound on his temple and his arm wrapped in bandages, lowered his head deeply.

“I … I failed to protect the place. Please forgive me, Mr. Dimas,” Ali said regretfully.

“Forget your apology. Focus on what matters now,” Dimas replied without turning around, his eyes fixed on the large screen. “We find Jay and his friends. I want them crawling and begging for mercy before Madam Diana.”

“What kind of video is this?” Dimas suddenly slammed the table in anger. “This isn’t it! Find the others, now!”

The professional IT team specially hired by Dimas immediately sprang into action, searching for any data related to last night’s incident. However, none of the CCTV recordings from Hero Café showed any trace of chaos at all.

One of the IT members exclaimed, “Mr. Dimas, it appears the original footage has been completely destroyed.”

“What?” Dimas was shocked, his fury exploding. “Destroyed?”

“The fake files remain, but the original evidence is gone. What should we do?” Dimas felt utterly frustrated.

“Damn it!” Dimas cursed. “This has to be his doing!”
