Walking away he washed away the anger with him, he was finally going to be with his parents and he didn’t want them bothered about anything. He made his way into a restaurant and bought some food.

He knew for a fact that his parent hadn’t enjoyed a good meal in a long time.

Now that there was no one to make their life hell, he needed to make them very comfortable and give them the best life. Walking inside the house, he brushed off the cold expression on his face and smiles warmly at them.

His mother watched him with concern in her eyes. “Are you okay Lewis?”

He gently held her hand in his. “I told you everything was going to be fine, there’s nothing to worry about.” He held up the food, its scent wafting through the air.

Her face lit up with a smile, and his father reached out for the food. “I’ll arrange not for dinner.”

This was what he had yearned for while he was still locked up, he had missed them so much, his gaze lingered on his mother who he wheeled to the old and worn out dining table, his father setting the table and playing the food but stopped.

“Lewis?” He called out softly, looking at his sim with a puzzled expression. “Did you buy all this food?”

“Yes.” Lewis nodded. “You both love it, remember we used to enjoy eating it together?”

Hos patents were still confused even thought their mouths were basically watering and crabkngjit at the moment, they were scared that their son might have gotten his hands dirty, the rod was quite pricey and he had just gotten putbof prison, too broke to afford it.

His father was still confused. “You two shouldn’t worry about anything from now on? I will take care of your needs and I promise I won’t do anything illegal.”

His mother’s eyes watered, she reached out her hands and pulled him into a hug, she had Lu ed quite bad and now having him back home filled her with so much assurance that he would really make sure they were safe.

In one of the boxes Lewis had opened at the mansion, there was a black card in it, he only took a small amount out of it, about a million dollars, that would be enough for him and his family to survive on.

He had so many questions he wanted them to answer concerning how things went while he was away but right now wasn’t the right moment.

As they munched on the food, he could tell they loved it, his parents couldn’t believe they could actually enjoy such luxurious meal ever again, his longer turne to him in concern.

“What if those guys come back?” She couldn’t get it off her mind. She feared his interaction with them would put him him trouble, also their unpaid debt, they still needed to handle it.

“You don’t have to worry about them coming back here so please be at peace, as for the debt I have taken care of it.” Lewis explained.

They both stared at him in shock. “What?” They asked in unison.

Paying off that amount was close to impossible, they had nothing to sell to even pay a percent of the money, they had endured so much humiliation from those thugs and yet he paid it off? How?

“Lewis?” She gently wrapped her hand in his. “Please tell me where you got the money from.” She was serious.

“Mom, there’s no need to worry, I told you two that I will handle it all from now, just leave it to me… you trust me right?” Lewis assured them, making their worries die down.

“I feel stupid, even now I can’t be the best father or souse, I’m supposed to protect you two and yet I leave the responsibility for you.” His father dropped his gaze, holding his tears from falling.

“You don’t have to blame yourself, you did your best protecting us, protecting Mom while I was away.” Lewis gazed at his father, tapping his shoulder soothingly.

Logan stared at his son, feeling proud, he had grown into a fine responsible young man.

Lewis on the other hand was sad that his father was in this state, turning to his mother he asked. “How did you get to this condition? You were fine when I left:”

Logan sighed, his mother looking away from him with sad eyes. “Right after you left, things didn’t work right and I ended up falling ill, I couldn’t get a cure and lost my ability to walk, It keeps getting worse, the doctor had warned that I might be fully paralyzed soon.” She explained.

Gritting his teeth he frowned his lips, Suddenly he heard some cars pull up, they all turned their direction to the window, his parents stared back at him with fear in their eyes.

“They are back.”

Lewis rose expressionless and made his way to the door but his mother quickly held his hand. “Let your father and I handle this, they might not be as hostile-“

Tapping her hand gently, he smiled reassuringly. “There’s no reason to worry.” With that he turned away and walked out, There were about trout RilceRoyce pulled up, a man in a black suit stepped out of the car and opened the back door, revealing a young woman.

“Hello, old friend.”
