Bella froze after hearing that. Her knees immediately felt weak, causing her body to sway back a few steps and collapse onto the sofa.

It was over. There was no hope left for her to save Leon. She slowly looked up, staring at Leon's back with a desperate expression.

"Uncle Xiao?" Shaun blurted out.

Uncle Xiao turned to Shaun and widened his eyes slightly, seeing Shaun's battered condition.

Shaun's father was a disciple of his brother. They had prepared Shaun to embark on the path of cultivation, and in a month, he would undergo a body cleansing ritual.
