Uncle Xiao’s eyes widened instantly when he found Leon suddenly standing right in front of him. His body froze as he felt an overwhelming, terrifying aura radiating from Leon’s eyes.

"Your rotten mouth doesn’t deserve to speak my father’s name!" Leon said, his tone oppressive.

The sentence Leon had just uttered was like thunder in Uncle Xiao’s head. He didn’t understand why he felt such immense fear right now.

Uncle Xiao then quickly glanced down, realizing a hot aura was spreading across the surface of his abdomen.

"Huh? A one-inch punch?" he muttered, tense. Leon’s hand was already in front of his stomach, ready to unleash an energy he himself couldn’t measure.

In an instant, Uncle Xiao’s body was sent flying backward, his back slamming hard against the wall.

Shaun, who was near Uncle Xiao, was stunned. His body also froze instantly, staring at the side of Leon’s face as a killing intent radiated from him, sending a chill down his spine. He lost his footing and immediately collapsed onto the floor, his face still tilted up toward Leon.

"Fuck! I knew it, you’re a cultivator," Uncle Xiao said, steadying his stance to stand properly.

Leon replied in a flat tone. "Cultivator or not, the point is, you can’t beat me."

"Tch. Bullshit! It’s clear the spiritual energy in your body is tiny. But why is your one-inch punch so strong?"

"Huh. Why? Am I that great? Or are you just fundamentally weak?"

"Damn it. Shut your mouth! I don’t care what trick you have. You’re just trash I can step on anytime!"

Uncle Xiao then unleashed his spiritual aura, making the atmosphere in the place grow even tenser. Instantly, a faint dark-purple light enveloped his body, accompanied by a wind strong enough to make everyone’s clothes flutter, spreading in all directions.

When Uncle Xiao took a step forward, the floor beneath him cracked. He leapt into the air for a moment and attacked Leon directly.

Close-quarters combat erupted, with Uncle Xiao unleashing a barrage of strikes at Leon. Unfortunately, Leon quickly dodged every attack, even parrying several of them.

Uncle Xiao’s hand and leg swings, accompanied by spiritual energy, each carried at least five hundred kilograms of force, or more. But relying only on his physical body and without spiritual energy, Leon could parry them, making him curious about who exactly the young man in front of him was and what trick he was using.

Meanwhile, Leon was actually struggling to parry Uncle Xiao’s kicks and punches. If not for his Ancient Heavenly Body, his body wouldn’t have been able to withstand it and would have been covered in bruises.

He was thrown back several times when parrying Uncle Xiao’s attacks directly, and even got careless once, nearly getting hit. Luckily, he had the Divine Step Technique, which allowed him to step on air and move extremely fast. Even though it was only an imitation technique, it helped him greatly in critical moments like this.

Of course, if Leon used his true power, even if it was only thirty-five percent, he wouldn’t have to bother dealing with the old man. But it wasn’t time yet to reveal his true identity. With just his Ancient Heavenly Body, he could still handle this problem.

"Damn it! Why is this brat so hard to deal with?" Uncle Xiao muttered, when he was about five feet away from Leon. "I’m a practitioner at the peak stage of Foundation. It would be humiliating if I can’t handle a little rat like him."

"Huh. Why so quiet? Are you admitting defeat?"

"Shut your mouth!"

Uncle Xiao immediately performed hand seals, making the dark-purple light on his body surge. For a moment, that dark-purple light began gathering in both his hands, emitting an incredibly powerful spiritual energy.

Bella, who saw it, widened her eyes instantly. She knew what would happen if that attack hit Leon. That technique was one of the Murph family’s techniques: the Soul Crusher Footprint Technique.

"Leon, watch out!" Bella shouted.

But Leon didn’t even move from his spot. He watched the attack calmly with a faint smile.

Actually, using spiritual power like magic or similar abilities by cultivators against ordinary humans was a violation of the law. Since Leon’s status as a cultivator was still unclear, Uncle Xiao could face punishment from the state and be imprisoned in the special cultivator prison on Judgment Island.

"Today I’ll turn you to ash!" Uncle Xiao shouted, about to swing his hands forward.

But suddenly...

"Nice technique."

Uncle Xiao froze, realizing Leon’s aura was suddenly behind him. That soft, cold voice distracted his focus.

He was about to turn his head while suspending his attack. But before he could turn completely, the air around his feet seemed to stop, and instantly a golden spiritual light descended from the ceiling, striking his body and exerting immense pressure, forcing him to bow down in an instant.

THUD

When his knees hit the floor, the floor cracked from the sheer pressure he received.

"Damn it. What the hell is this?" Uncle Xiao muttered, struggling to breathe.

"Unfortunately, that’s not enough to kill me," Leon added. This time, he released a bit of his spiritual energy.

Shaun and his four companions, as well as Bella, were once again left stunned, watching what Leon had done.

No. This was beyond Shaun’s expectations. When he looked at Leon, his gaze seemed to say that the man he thought was a damn loser was someone far above his capabilities.

"Huh. Where’s your confidence now? Didn’t you ask me to kneel and kowtow a thousand times? Why are you the one kneeling now?"

"Uggh..." Uncle Xiao groaned, feeling the weight pressing on him grow heavier.

He tried to perform hand seals, channeling his spiritual energy to resist the pressure. But not long after the dark-purple spiritual aura enveloped his body, he suddenly spat out fresh blood and the dark-purple light on his body vanished.

"Who exactly is this brat? What level is his cultivation?" he muttered.

Leon smiled faintly and walked back to the chair he had been sitting in earlier. As he walked toward the chair, he passed Bella, who could only stare at him, stunned. A mix of awe and confusion swirled in the woman’s eyes.

"Why? Can’t you stand? Didn’t you say I was just an insect in your eyes? But why can’t you withstand the pressure of an insect?"

Uncle Xiao’s face turned red. He couldn’t hold out against the pressure any longer.

"Aarrghh. Fine! Fine, I lost. I’m sorry," Uncle Xiao said, truly humbling himself. His breath was labored, his bones felt like they were being stabbed by thousands of needles.

Leon smirked upon hearing that. He just snapped his fingers, and the golden aura pressing down on Uncle Xiao disappeared.

At the same time, Uncle Xiao immediately took a deep, satisfied breath. He seemed to lose consciousness for a moment, then rose again while enduring the pain throughout his body.

"I don’t need your apology. From the start, the one who owes an apology is that man." Leon pointed at Shaun, making Shaun freeze instantly.

Having seen Leon’s ability that could even silence Uncle Xiao, Shaun quickly got up despite the pain still coursing through his body. With full awareness, he knelt not far in front of Leon and uttered an apology.

"Not to me, but to Bella."

For a moment, Shaun was silent, processing Leon’s words. After that, he immediately turned to Bella and apologized. He also firmly ordered his companions to kneel and do the same as him.

Bella froze in place. She never expected the situation to turn around like this. She looked at Leon for a moment, who immediately responded with a slight nod.

"Shaun... I think this is inappropriate. I forgive you. Stand up."

Shaun lifted his face immediately upon hearing that.

"Stop!"

In the middle of the tension that was almost easing, suddenly a woman’s voice echoed through the air, drawing everyone’s attention.

"Police. Everyone, hands up!" The woman showed her badge while pointing a gun.

Leon was still trying to process what was really happening. Why wouldn’t his card work? Was Frander trying to trick him?At this point, Bella should have been wondering why the card wasn’t working. Because as far as she knew, the card was hers—and she would have known for sure whether it was still valid or not. If the payment failed, the most likely reason would be insufficient funds, not that the card itself was unusable.Unfortunately, Bella didn’t get a chance to think that far. Her mind was a mess from all the unexpected events of the day."That can’t be right—try swiping it again," Leon said, refusing to accept it.Bella just stayed quiet, seeming to calm herself down. Her thoughts felt scattered, and the sounds around her seemed to fade into the background for a moment. After swiping the card a second time, the cashier shook their head. This time, their previously friendly expression turned cold. What was the point of insisting? If you didn’t have the money, you should just leav

But when he glanced at Hanna and saw her expression, he immediately understood what was really going on.Hanna had always been cunning and manipulative. It didn’t take much to figure out she’d egged her boyfriend on, making him regain his confidence. What made Leon even angrier was that this time, Hanna hadn’t just come with Henri—she’d brought two more friends along, who just happened to be their former middle school classmates too."What are you doing here again?" Bella asked sharply. She automatically handed back the black card she’d taken from Leon earlier, then faced Hanna, Henri, and their two middle school friends—Penny and Viona—square on."Why shouldn’t I be here? Everyone has the right to come in," Hanna shot back. Her face was full of arrogance and pride, a sly smile curving at the corner of her mouth."Oh, so this is the boyfriend you were talking about?" Viona cut in. She looked at
