The wedding was nearly over, and the hall fell quiet. All eyes turned toward the stunning couple.

For an entire month, it had been all anyone could talk about: Theodore, the kingdom’s most notorious simp, was finally going to marry his dream girl, Princess Lily!

"I still can't believe Lily actually strung him along for a whole year and turned down dozens of his confessions.” Someone sighed softly, “Theodore is the sole heir to the Guardian of the North—isn't she afraid of overplaying her hand?"

"Overplaying her hand? Please! You have no idea—the more she rejects him, the harder Theodore simps for her. Last time, just to hold her hand once, he even gave her a Masterwork weapon worth millions!"

"Good heavens, isn't that a divine weapon even Rank-7 masters would fight tooth and nail for? Lily is just the King's illegitimate daughter—how dare she turn down something so precious?"

"Who said she turned it down?! She only rejected his confession, not his gifts! Where else do you think all the luxury gear on her came from? Whenever Theodore gave her a gift, she just snatched it right up! In return, she’d treat him warmly for a spell, enticing him to keep the gifts coming!"

"Oh my god, I am so jealous of Lily! why can't I ever meet a man as generous and foolish as Theodore?"

Just then, the priest cleared his throat.

“Theodore Cordova, now place the ring on Princess Lily’s ring finger and you shall be lawfully wedded.”

The guests immediately let out sighs of disappointment as the matter headed toward its foregone conclusion.

Because Theodore’s social standing and family backing were vastly superior to Lily’s, there was always someone warning her to either stop stringing poor Theodore along or just accept his confession.

And since Lily refused to part with even a fraction of the mountain of outrageously expensive gifts she had received, her only way out was to marry Theodore—and finally let him have her.

Which meant that the next day, they wouldn't get to hear the entertaining tale of how Lily had once again wiped the floor with the heir to the North.

However, suddenly...

“That’s enough!” cried Lily, roughly fending off the diamond ring, causing it to roll down the steps of the altar.

“Enough of these foolish rituals! I am now legally Theodore’s wife, and that is all any of you need to know.

But hear this! No matter how many lavish gifts Theodore showers upon me, no matter how noble his station may be, none of it will ever change my heart. I will never love him—my heart belongs to Gerald, and Gerald alone!”

Without hesitation, Lily stepped down from the altar and walked straight over to Gerald Ford, the Prime Minister’s son, who was already standing in the front row with a smug smile.

“From now on, I’ll spend the rest of this wedding with him, not with a disgusting man like Theodore!”

Everyone present was utterly stunned.

No one could have anticipated that Lily, far from knowing her place, would brazenly cheat on him with her lover right at the wedding!

The vicar himself fell silent, the holy book suspended in mid-air, unsure whether to continue or halt the ceremony.

Gerald grinned broadly, then glared at Theodore with a look of triumph as he pulled Lily closer by the waist.

“Forgive me, Theodore. I’m taking your bride. She’s not good enough for you.”

Gerald kissed Lily on the cheek and looked at Theodore with utter contempt.

The pair turned and strolled leisurely towards the east wing corridor, heading for the private chamber that was meant to be Theodore’s wedding chamber.

The hall fell dead silent. Then, every eye turned toward Theodore.

Your wife just ran off with another man right at your wedding! No matter how big of a simp you are, surely you have to be furious now!

But Theodore disappointed them all. He simply stood dazed, gazing hollowly down the hallway, completely detached. It was as if the bride who had just bolted belonged to someone else entirely.

This, of course, caused the entire hall to erupt in jeers.

“Good heavens, look at him! His fiancée has run off with another man, and he’s standing there like a statue!” exclaimed a nobleman in the front row, no longer even bothering to whisper.

“He really went and did it; he just redefined rock bottom for simps everywhere!”

"Now I finally know why Lily chose to marry Theodore—because he's willing to be a pathetic cuckold even after the wedding!"

Sarcastic laughter echoed throughout the room. One countess even shook her head with an expression of disgust.

No one knew that, at that very moment, Theodore’s eyes were trembling slightly, then constricted sharply.

He gasped for air like a drowning man breaking the surface, only for his breath to seize again the moment he took in the sight before him.

‘Where am I?’ His mind went completely blank. ‘Haven’t I already died?’

Why had he suddenly been transported back to the day of his wedding to Lily?

Before his mind could grasp what was happening, a sudden, piercing pain throbbed fiercely inside his head.

"Argh..." He clutched his head in agony. Suddenly, memories came flooding back like a tidal wave.

He was Theodore Corvoda, the sole heir to the Guardian of the North.

His father was an Eighth-Rank warrior who commanded the dreaded Northern Legion, a man who had once saved the reigning king during a nationwide rebellion.

He had three elder sisters, each hailed as an Iron Wolf of the North.

The Corvoda family commanded the respect of all…

Until he came along.

Theodore, a promising young heir, had his mind twisted and controlled by a vicious, grasping woman.

Lily, an illegitimate daughter, was utterly worthless without him; her only conceivable end was a forced political marriage abroad.

Yet when Theodore saved her, she took his sacrifices as her birthright, playing with his heart and shamelessly leading him on.

She even betrayed him with Gerald, son of the Hand of the King, claiming Gerald was her soulmate while framing Theodore as pure evil!

Worse, once married, she conspired with Gerald and his household servants to slowly poison him. Drained of strength and sanity, he became the capital's favorite joke.

Ultimately, House Corvoda fell, and he was thrown onto the cold streets to be mauled to death by stray dogs!

But now……

Theodore’s heart pounded violently.

Am I… really alive again?

Theodore stared at his own hands—hands that showed absolutely no signs of a hunting dog’s bite, no poison slowly seeping through his veins.

His gaze fell upon the magnificent wedding hall.

So… he really had returned.

Was this redemption?

Or a final test?

Either way, he would not repeat the same mistake.

This time, Lily Spencer and Gerald Ford would not destroy the Corvoda family.

It was Theodore who would write the ending to their story!

Theodore felt satisfied as he watched Lily’s reaction; she had finally given in and slumped limply onto the marble floor. The small pair of scissors she had been brandishing now lay uselessly by her feet. The arrogance of the illegitimate princess—usually displayed with her chin held high—had now completely crumbled.“Theodore… you… you really are a devil,” whispered Lily, her lips trembling violently as she held back her tears.Theodore glanced at her briefly, then snorted derisively. “A devil? Isn’t it a cruel and powerful man like this that you’ve always admired, Princess?”Theodore looked away, then scanned the room with a cold gaze. The corridor floor was stained with blood, the furniture was smashed, and the atmosphere around him had suddenly fallen deathly silent. He wasted no more time and immediately turned to his captain of the guard to bring this matter to a close.“Kael,” Theodore called out in a deep, firm voice.“At your service, Young Master!” replied Kael, standing to

"Ck."Theodore raised an eyebrow, staring at the silver scissors pressed against Lily’s neck, not a trace of fear on his face.“Are you still trying to threaten me with your own life?” asked Theodore flatly, his voice calm yet laced with scornful derision.“Yes!” cried Lily, breathless and her lips trembling with suppressed emotion. Tears of despair welled up in her eyes, but her pride refused to yield. “Don’t lay a finger on Gerald again! If you dare take another step, my blood will soak this floor right now!”Theodore remained utterly unmoved. The threat of suicide, which Lily regarded as her final trump card, was nothing more than meaningless drivel to his ears. His gaze remained as cold as an icy chasm, and a thin, cruel smirk actually appeared on his lips.Without wasting a single second, Theodore glanced at the captain of the guards.“Kael.”“At your service, Young Master!” replied the captain, standing at the ready.“Cut off the other leg,” Theodore ordered casually, his words

“Drop that weapon, Princess!” Kael roared instantly, his eyes widening in shock at the sight of the rusty pair of scissors pressed against his mistress’s throat.Within seconds, the captain of the guard bellowed an alert command down the length of the corridor. The thunderous clatter of iron boots shattered the silence as a dozen fully-armed knights of the Iron Blood Army stormed in, simultaneously drawing their steel swords towards Lily. The air in the corridor froze instantly under the glare of dozens of bloodthirsty blades.“Step away from the Young Master this very instant, or it will be your head rolling across this marble floor!” threatened Kael with a blazing, murderous glare.Far from being intimidated, Lily became even more frenzied. Her hand, clutching the scissors, trembled violently, pressing the sharp blade deeper until it slightly nicked the skin on Theodore’s neck. A trail of fresh blood began to seep slowly, staining the collar of the Northern heir’s black cloak.“Sta

The creaking of the mahogany bed clattered loudly against the marble floor, in time with every jolt of Theodore’s body as it moved wildly and relentlessly. Gerald’s furious groans and curses, seeping through the crack in the door, did not dampen the Northern heir’s passion; rather, they set his blood ablaze with extraordinary satisfaction. Every roar from the corridor outside made Theodore relish this humiliation all the more.Theodore gripped Lily’s slender hips, forcing her to look up into his face.“Listen carefully, Princess,” whispered Theodore with a cruel grin. “Your secret lover is singing sweetly to accompany our game out there.”“Ahhh... T-Theodore... stop... please... ah!” Lily moaned in exhaustion, her tears spilling onto the silk pillow. She tried to resist, but Theodore’s physical strength—doubled after drinking the antidote—left her body paralysed under his absolute dominance.Theodore deliberately varied the rhythm and angle of his thrusts, pressing against the prince

“T-Theodore, get away from me right now!”In a panic, Lily tried to break free from Theodore’s grip and flee the room, but she was too slow. With ease, Theodore’s hand snatched hold of her wrist, then yanked her and roughly hurled her slender body onto the silk bed.Theodore immediately lunged onto Lily’s body, pinning her down completely. His rough fingers gripped the princess’s chin so tightly that her bones creaked and Lily winced in pain. With a condescending look, Theodore asked with a cynical laugh, “Hah, wasn’t it you yourself who offered to make love to me just now, Princess?”“N-no, I was just… just…!”Before Lily could finish her sentence, Theodore’s hand snatched at the sheer gown draped over the princess’s beautiful body. RIP! With a single, unhesitating, rough tug, the silk fabric tore to shreds, leaving the woman now lying completely naked beneath his grip.“Theodore, you bastard! How dare you touch my sacred body!” Lily screamed furiously. She thrashed wildly, trying

Theodore’s mouth parted slightly in disbelief. He hadn't expected this woman would still dare to demand things from him now.Lily deliberately bit her lower lip gently, allowing a single tear to roll down her smooth cheek. She deliberately let her bare shoulders tremble slightly, displaying a fragile, feeble and heart-rending resignation.“Theodore… if this can appease your anger,” Lily whispered through her sobs, adopting the expression of a helpless woman that had always succeeded in melting the heart of the Cordova clan’s heir in the past. “Then touch me as you please. Make me yours tonight… as long as you let Gerald live!”Theodore grinned cynically, stepped forward with an intimidating stride, then said coldly.“My princess, have you forgotten? We are husband and wife; you already belong to me. So I have no need for bargaining chips or any conditions whatsoever to touch you.”Lily was utterly shocked by Theodore’s words, but before she could react in any way, Theodore pulled h
