2. My Girlfriend Betrayed Me

Chapter Two

“What are you doing here Elijah?” Stella asked instead of her to apologize to her boyfriend for disgracing him by hurting his feelings and cheating on him.

“I should ask you what are you doing here , please don’t tell me that you both have been having sex behind my back?!” Elijah asked, feeling so betrayed , he felt like his world was shattering and his heart was on fire.

“Don’t you dare talk anyhow to Stella when you came here to beg for money” Henry said which made Stella to become more egoistic

“Oh so you’re even here to beg and you’re asking me for the reason I am cheating on you? I don’t deal with poor beggars , just take a good look at the way you look right now “ Stella said laughing and mocking Elijah while mocking his tattered outfits with her hands.

“How could you do this to me when you know that my mother is not feeling too well, we have been dating for more than 2 years now …I am so disappointed in you Stella. I don’t believe you could do this to me” Elijah said shaking his head in disbelief, it was like he was in a terrifying nightmare and he wished that all these things happening to him are all lies.

“Can you imagine the shameless thing coming out of your mouth? We have been dating for more than 2 years but you have never bought me a single luxury bag or diamond rings. Why can’t you be a man like your step brother here ? You’re a loser and I don’t roll with losers!” Stella spat at Elijah and Henry just stayed back and supported the rubbish that was coming out of Stella’s mouth.

“It’s over, I can’t do this anymore . I would rather die single than be with a shameless whore!” Elijah shouted and before he finished Henry dropped a dirty slap on his face.

“How dare you call Stella a whore in my own house ?“ Henry said and Elijah couldn’t believe it, Elijah tried his best to control himself but he couldn’t take the insult.

Elijah couldn’t stand there and watch someone that he is older than slap him without fighting back.

Elijah let out a frustrated groan and marched forward to drop a painful punch on Henry’s face which took Henry by surprise till he fell down on the floor. Henry quickly stood up and punched Elijah on his face and all of a sudden the two of them started fighting.

The luxurious living room was a scene of chaos and frenzy as the two young men grappled with each other, fists flying in the air, sweat pouring down their faces.

“Arrest that mad man and take him out of my property! I wish that you and your mother were both terminally ill so that you can leave our family for good!” Henry shouted when his bodyguards rushed in and stopped Elijah from hitting Henry who looked badly injured already , Elijah hit him so hard that he now has bruises on his face.

“I will never forget this and I will make sure you pay for this , both you and Stella!” Elijah shouted out of anger and frustration.

“Shut up you fool, why will you hit Henry,what if you damage his handsome face!” Stella said going to hug Henry and let him while Henry’s bodyguards kept manhandling , Elijah couldn’t believe that his younger step brother had the audacity to treat him like a criminal.

“Damn it, get this bastard the fuck out of my house and I will not give you a dime!” Henry shouted even though his teeth ached badly because of the punches Elijah threw in his face.

Before Elijah will talk back, the bodyguards roughly dragged Elijah out of the main house and threw him on the marble floor as if he is some kind of criminal. Elijah almost cried because of the level of humiliation he had witnessed.

Elijah stormed out of the , slamming the front gate behind him. Outside, the cool evening air hit him like a wave, and he took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He couldn't believe that his girlfriend,Stella, had cheated on him with his own step-brother. It was like a punch to the gut, and he didn't know how he was going to get over it.

Elijah knew that there were only 2 remaining people in the world that could give him such a huge amount of money to treat his ailing mother and that is his father and uncle.

Elijah asked Henry first for help because no matter how many times Elijah called his wealthy father and uncle to ask for help, they kept rejecting his call and wouldn't text back so he decided to visit Henry thinking he would be sympathetic but it was the worsening mistake ever which made Elijah to think of visiting his father’s private chambers unannounced and without appointment.

Elijah also thought of asking Henry’s mother for help but then he doubts she will do that because she is not even in the country, she is always travelling around the world to different vacations and luxury places to spend money , have fun and buy expensive designer shoes , clothes and bags.

On the other hand Elijah and his mother are treated less than slaves and they only get a tiny small amount of money for monthly allowance , Elijah vowed to change things around because he couldn’t bear the hatred and insults that are always thrown to him and his mother.

“Stella is a very useless girlfriend “ Elijah whispered , he couldn’t believe that she would even do that to him when she kept saying that she loves him. He needed her to support him in his hardest time in life, buddy instead she betrayed him.

He walked down the street, not really paying attention to where he was going. His mind was consumed with thoughts of Stella and Henry and the betrayal he felt from both of them. He didn't know how he was going to face either of them again but he didn’t care , his sick mother is the only one that loves him in the entire world and he is willing to do anything to save his mother’s even if he will lose his pride and dignity.
