Swiftly, Svetlana and Richmond pulled out from each other and turned to the direction of the voice.

“I didn't send you to the school to be frolicking with boys. You came here to study."

“And even if he's your boyfriend, why did you not introduce him to me so that I can assess him well and see if he's good for you.”

Svetlana's mother, Gina Russell, began to close in on them, her hands heavy with two big bags on it.

Just the look on Svetlana's face was priceless. Adolphus was enjoying the scene as well as his friends.

“Mom?" She muttered and walked up to her mother before whispering.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

“I brought you some home cooked food. Am I not allowed to visit my daughter in school?" Gina replied with a smile on her face.

She was happy to visit her daughter in school. Unfortunately, Svetlana doesn't look happy.

In fact, she looked so disappointed and embarrassed.

“It's obvious that you're not happy to see me." Gina added, shaking her head with raised brows.

Earlier that morning, Gina Russell got an anonymous message about her daughter, Svetlana.

The message stated that Svetlana was not taking her studies seriously. And that she was only running around school with boys.

At first, she didn't believe in the message because she had faith in her daughter. On second thought, she decided to pay her daughter a surprise visit.

Gina took that day off and made a lot of Svetlana's favorite dishes. And with a joyful heart, she set out to her school to surprise her daughter but got a shocker.

Unfortunately, the message she got about Svetlana ended up being true.

She came right on time to catch her daughter in a deep kiss with a boy and right before everyone.

They weren't even hiding it, and even though they're already adults, they should have a sense of responsibility.

Svetlana and her lover should at least respect themselves in the public.

Gina was really disappointed in her daughter.

Gradually, she lowered the bags on one of the chairs and turned to Richmond in a dirty look.

“And you, what's your plans for my daughter? I hope you don't intend to dump her after messing her up before everyone.”

“I'll not tolerate it if you break my daughter's heart.”

Richmond stepped forward, closing in on Gina. He gave her a cold look and spoke with so much pride and arrogance.

“Ma'am, I love your daughter and will never break her heart. However, it's not right for a parent to show up at her daughter's school unannounced.”

“You can't just come here and embarrass us like that. We're not kids who should be told what to do and what not to do.”

“So I'll advise you to take these things and leave.” Richmond pointed to the bags Gina came with before he continued.

“I can afford a nice and expensive meal for my girl. She doesn't need any home cooked food.”

After Richmond was done speaking, Gina gave him a thorough look before asking in a calm voice.

“Young man, what's your name?”

“Mom, please stop making a scene. People are watching us.” Svetlana stepped in to save the situation and avoid further drama, but her mother raised a hand at her.

“I wasn't speaking to you, Svetlana.” She spoke with her face still fixed on Richmond, who was acting rather nonchalant.

“My name is Richmond Wright. I'm sure that you must have heard the name ‘Wright’.” Richmond replied in that usual arrogance, leaving Doris shaking her head in disdain.

Her daughter obviously has a bad taste for men.

Richmond Wright may come from a rich home, but his arrogance has disqualified him. Unfortunately, there's not much she could do.

Gina decided to ignore Richmond and turned to her daughter, giving her a disapproving look.

“What are you thinking, Svetlana? You can't be hanging out with someone who has no respect for your mother.”

“Mom, Richmond did not disrespect you. You're the one who didn't respect yourself.” Svetlana fired back at her mother with bloodshot eyes.

She was not happy with what was going on at that moment.

Her mother showed up in her school unannounced, and now, she'd be the object of gossip amongst other students. And Adolphus seemed to be having fun.

She could see the mocking smile on Adolphus's face as well as his friends. They must be enjoying themselves watching the drama.

“Svetlana?” A familiar voice called out, and she turned to see her friends, Hope and Prisca giving her a questioning look.

“Don't tell me that this poorly dressed woman is your mother. Didn't you brag about your family being very wealthy? Then how come your Mom is dressed in these rags.”

“I don't believe that you've been lying to us and pretending to be rich.” Hope added with a disgusting look on her face.

Their actions infuriated Gina, and she closed in on them, giving each of them a dirty slap.

Her actions were not anticipated, so everyone was caught unawares, especially the girls who just talked down on her.

Svetlana only stood speechless with her mouth open.

“How dare you talk about me in such a demeaning manner and to my face. Look, if you weren't taught manners at home, then I wouldn't hesitate to teach you some.”

“Whatever my daughter, Svetlana, told you should be between you. Don't you dare drag me into it by insulting me.” Gina was like a raging lion at that moment, leaving all the students in total bewilderment.

Adolphus was more stunned and never expected such a reaction from Svetlana's mother.

He had sent that message through Bradley. However, he never imagined that things would turn out the way it just did.

The drama he just experienced is a sight he'd never forget in a hurry.
