166. Accident

After nearly 2 hours of shopping, they decided to find a place to eat outside the shopping center. On both sides of the shopping building, there were many eateries.

Based on internet recommendations, they decided to visit one of the restaurants nearby. As they walked towards the restaurant, Eugene suddenly remembered something.

"It seems like I accidentally left my watch in the watch store when I was trying on a new one earlier," Eugene said while lightly tapping her forehead.

"I'll go back to the store, you just wait for me at the restaurant, okay?"

"Okay." Eugene nodded and watched Kalix walk back towards the shopping center. Meanwhile, she stood still there and waited for Kalix instead of going into the restaurant.

Kalix knew Eugene would wait for him outside the restaurant or even follow him, so he quickly walked back to the shopping center. Fortunately, the streets weren't too crowded with pedestrians at that time.
