Mikael Avery felt a terrible pain in his head, and his whole body felt stiff. On top of that, his eyes felt heavy and difficult to open.

"Doctor, is he dead?" a cold voice asked.

‘Whose voice is that?’ Mikael could only think to himself.

Unable to react, he could only listen with his eyes closed.

However, strangely, various new memories suddenly appeared in his head.

‘What is this? What's happening to me?’ Mikael became even more confused.

"Oh, on the contrary, Miss Brown. Your husband is showing good progress. I'm sure ... he'll wake up soon."

"What do you mean, Doctor? He's been in a coma for a month. How could he wake up? Didn't you yourself say that his injuries were very severe, Doctor?"

Even more surprising, Mikael Avery recognized that voice. It was Jenna Brown's voice. That woman was his wife.

Mikael tensed up.

Wait a minute. Wife?

He suddenly realized that something strange was happening to him.

"That's right, ma'am. But, maybe ... this is what you call a miracle."

Jenna screamed, "No, it's not possible. That's impossible, Doctor. He won't ...."

However, the woman didn't finish her sentence because the door to the room suddenly opened.

Mikael, who still couldn't open his eyes, could hear footsteps walking in. He could count that there were three people entering the room.

"Jenna."

Mikael heard a man's voice and knew who it belonged to.

"How is my son-in-law, Doctor?" a woman's voice began to emerge.

"Mr. Mikael has passed the critical stage and is no longer in a coma. I expect he will regain consciousness soon. Excuse me, Mrs. Brown."

After the doctor left the room, Mikael, who understood what was happening, began to think hard.

"Dad, Mom ... what should we do? How can I marry Jack if he regains consciousness?" the young woman's voice was heard again.

Mikael could sense the annoyance in Jenna's voice.

"Honey, don't overthink it! We're still getting married no matter what happens."

"Besides, the doctor didn't say he would wake up now, did he?"

However, as soon as Jenna's mother said that, the man lying weakly on the bed slowly opened his eyes.

Mikael blinked, trying to adjust his eyes to the light.

Bobby Brown, Jenna's father, stared in shock, "You bastard! You're awake?"

"Mike, you ... how is this possible?" Jenna stared blankly.

"Damn it! Why did you have to wake up, you loser?" Liza glared at her son-in-law.

"Jenna, call the doctor quickly!" Jack said softly to Jenna.

Jenna looked reluctant, but she still left the room and called the doctor.

Jack stared hatefully at the man who had just awakened from his long sleep. Mikael was still a little dizzy, so he ignored the gaze of the man he knew wanted to marry his wife.

As soon as the doctor arrived, he immediately conducted a thorough examination that lasted almost thirty minutes.

Jack Rolland, the young director of a large jewelry company, and all the members of the Brown family stood with sour faces as they waited for the doctor's examination results.

"It's a miracle. You seem to be recovering soon, Mr. Mikael." The doctor delivered the news happily.

However, none of the Brown family members looked happy.

When the doctor left the treatment room, Mikael stared straight at Jack.

Now Mikael Avery fully understood.

He had woken up in someone else's body. That body belonged to a man named Mikael Summer, a twenty-eight-year-old man who had married Jenna Brown without love.

Mikael Avery was grateful that at least the man whose body he now occupied had the same first name as him.

When Mikael glanced at Jack's hand around Jenna's waist, Mikael raised his right eyebrow, “Jack Rolland ... Jenna, I'm awake from my coma. Are you-”

Arthur snorted. "Whether you're awake from your coma or not, nothing will change. You still have to divorce Jenna."

"Why should I?"

Jenna gritted her teeth, "Mike, come on. I'm sick of living with you."

Bobby Brown mercilessly kicked Mikael's leg, but Mikael didn't react at all.

Glaring, Bobby pointed his index finger at Mikael, "Tomorrow you have to sign the divorce papers. If not, I'll make you regret ever being born."

After saying that, they left and left Mikael alone.

Mikael didn't mind, but was actually grateful for it. He could try to adapt to his new body.

The man moved his body and tried to sit up. His body felt very stiff, and he finally forced himself to get out of bed.

His legs felt heavy, but he knew that if he just stayed still, he wouldn't recover quickly.

So, he started practicing walking and stopped in front of the mirror.

Mikael Avery stared at his new face and was stunned when he realized that Mikael Summer had a very handsome face.

This man was much more handsome than him. It was just that his body was not in top condition, unlike his muscular and strong physique.

However, their heights were not much different. He guessed that Mikael Summer was only two centimeters shorter than him.

His body was indeed very thin, but Mikael said confidently, "It's okay. I can make him strong in no time."

As he stared at the mirror, flashes of memories of what had happened to him before came to his mind.

The man closed his eyes and remembered everything.

"Congratulations on your victory, General Avery."

"You are indeed the best War General Arans has ever had."

"Long live General Avery."

"General Avery. General Avery."

"Long live General Avery."

Mikael Avery, the thirty-year-old War General of the Arans Kingdom, raised the corners of his lips slightly, smiling faintly in response to all the praise directed at him.

The soldiers, royal staff, and palace residents had been waiting for the war general's arrival for two hours. They did so after receiving news of the victory from Mikael himself.

However, Mikael Avery had no intention of staying there for long. He walked straight ahead with several key soldiers following behind him toward the king, who was waiting for him at the entrance to the main hall.

"Congratulations on your victory, General Avery. Welcome back." Philip Graham said stiffly.

A forced smile appeared on the lips of the king who had ruled the country for two years.

Mikael did not respond and immediately saluted his king.

"May I speak, Your Majesty?"

Philip flashed another fake smile. "Please, General!"

"Your Majesty, since I have carried out the task you ordered, please allow me to meet and bring my sister home."

"Oh, of course, that is only right. But ... certainly not tonight."

Mikael frowned, clearly dissatisfied with the king's answer.

Before Mikael could ask for an explanation, Philip suddenly asked his personal servant, "Is dinner ready, Sam?"

"Yes, Your Majesty."

The king looked back at Mikael, "Come, General Avery. We can enjoy ...."

"Your Majesty, I-"

"I will not break my promise. You can take Diana home ... tomorrow. Now, let's celebrate your great victory."

Mikael certainly could not refuse the king's invitation, which was spoken in front of almost all the palace residents. He was finally forced to attend the dinner prepared by the young king, who was only thirty-eight years old.

Mikael avoided intoxicating drinks because he knew he had to drive back to his residence, which was located quite far from the palace.

Actually, the king had given him a residence in the palace that could be considered luxurious, but he refused it. He preferred to live outside the palace with his only beloved sister, Diana Avery.

However, a month ago, the king showed interest in Diana and proposed to her. Diana was only seventeen years old, and Mikael thought she was too young to get married.

Moreover, Diana would only be made the king's concubine, and of course, he couldn't let that happen to his only sister.

After the dinner party ended, Mikael immediately drove his car to his private residence.

However, halfway there, he was chased by several cars at once. He was cornered until he finally had difficulty moving.

He was forced to get out of the car and fight them.

But, he was shocked when his body suddenly weakened, making it easy for the masked group to overpower him.

At least that's what Mikael remembered until he suddenly woke up in a body that wasn't his own.

"Who were they? And what happened to me that made me so weak at that moment?"

Dilon let out a long sigh, his gaze softening as he looked at Arion. “Don’t twist it like that,” he said softly. “You’re still my friend. You always have been. That hasn’t changed.”Arion fell silent for a moment, but his jaw tightened. “But you just said we’re here to compete.”“Yes,” Dilon replied firmly. “As participants, we are rivals. But that doesn’t mean I’ve stopped considering you a friend.”The explanation made sense, but for some reason it only made Arion even more annoyed. There was something in Dilon’s tone-too rational, too cold that made him feel like their relationship was being weighed, not lived.“I don’t like the way you think,” Arion muttered finally.Dilon frowned. “Arion, it’s not what you think. You’re just-”“It really doesn’t matter if you consider me a rival too,” Arion cut in quickly. He turned around, then walked away, choosing to sit on the other side of the room. The distance between them, which had been just a few steps, now felt like a chasm.Dilon fel

She really is beautiful! Absolutely stunning!” a young man in the back row whispered, nearly choking with nervousness as he stared at Diana.“If she weren’t beautiful, how could King Philup be so smitten with her?” replied his friend, stifling a laugh.Mikael Avery’s composure was instantly shattered. His fists clenched at his sides. He knew exactly what their stares meant. Every graceful step Diana took seemed to fan the embers of anger in his chest.‘Bastard!
