Although Mikael wanted to find out about it immediately, he certainly couldn't do it right then and there.

He still had to adjust to his new body and learn about his new surroundings.

He didn't know what time it was, nor did he know what had happened or was happening in the world. He didn't even know if he was living in the same area or had been thrown into a different dimension.

Mikael glanced at the table to the right of the bed. There was a cell phone on it. Without thinking twice, Mikael immediately picked up the phone.

He tried to find information through an internet search engine.

He breathed a sigh of relief when he found out that he was in the same world and even lived in the same country, the Kingdom of Arans.

He hurriedly searched for news about himself. It didn't take him long to find the information he was looking for.

Apparently, his murder had become big news in the country. The incident had happened three days ago.

This meant that his soul had left his body that day and entered Mikael Summer's body.

Mikael began reading the first news article he found carefully.

"General Avery was reportedly killed after being attacked by a group of unknown individuals on his way home. It is suspected that Mikael Avery was so exhausted after returning from the battlefield that he was easily killed."

Mikael laughed cynically. "Exhausted? Really?"

Of course, physical exhaustion would not cause someone like Mikael Avery to be easily defeated by a group of thugs of unknown origin.

Mikael knew for sure that something was wrong with his body that night. It's just that he couldn't yet determine what caused him to become so weak and suddenly lose his strength.

Mikael shook his head and continued reading, "The War General of the Arans Kingdom will be buried next Monday."

Mikael gripped the phone tightly. "Damn it!"

"Whoever did this to me, I promise ... you will pay dearly."

Mikael then searched for other information, specifically about his younger sister, Diana Avery, and discovered that she was still at the palace.

This made Mikael even angrier. He began to suspect the king because, in his opinion, Philip Graham clearly stood to gain a lot from his death, one of which was being able to keep Diana by his side.

He could never imagine his beloved sister falling for the king who loved to play with women.

So, Mikael was determined, "I have to get into the palace. Diana cannot become his wife."

Right now, he was just an ordinary man. Of course, he realized that it would be difficult for him to just walk into the palace.

However, while he was still thinking about many things, his bedroom door suddenly opened again. A short, fat man entered carrying a gift.

"Mike. Oh my God! You're awake!" the man, who looked a little older than him, exclaimed happily.

He hurriedly walked towards Mikael, who looked a little surprised by his presence.

"When I asked the nurse outside, she said you were awake. I almost couldn't believe it... but it turns out you really are awake," Jonah exclaimed, Mikael Summer's best friend, with a big smile.

The man placed the gift containing fruit on the table and turned back to Mikael. "How are you feeling now, Mike? Why aren't you sleeping? Why are you sitting up?”

“I’m fine.”

Jonah sighed softly, “Last night I thought you were really going to … die. The doctor said the chances of you waking up from the coma were very slim. But this is truly miraculous. You woke up and now you’re talking to me. I’m so happy, Mike.”

"That old man Brown ...." Jonah stopped suddenly and slapped his own mouth.

The man shook his head, "Never mind, I shouldn't have talked about that old man who doesn't know his place."

But Mikael, who wanted to know more, asked, "What's wrong with Bobby Brown?"

Jonah was reluctant to explain, but in the end he replied, "You ... Mike, you're too nice to them."

Mikael knew that very well.

In the memories of that body, Mikael Avery knew that Mikael Summer was a good man who was willing to do anything for his wife's family.

He did all that to repay the kindness of the man who had helped him in the past, who was his wife's grandfather.

"But ... this time they really went too far. You remember how you got into that accident, right, Mike?"

Mikael nodded, "I saved my mother-in-law from a car that almost hit her."

Jonah nodded and suddenly his face grew somber. “You know … it was all just a setup, Mike.”

“What do you mean?”

Jonah swallowed hard, “Well, when you were in the accident and ended up in a coma, I heard them say that Liza, your mother-in-law, deliberately stood in front of the car because she knew you would save her. The accident was their plan, and the driver of the car was … Jack Rolland’s henchman.”

Mikael was stunned.

He didn't expect that the life of the man whose body he was currently using was also quite sad.

The world was truly unfair to Mikael Summer.

"Mike, just divorce Jenna. She ... really isn't worth keeping. I saw for myself how happy she looked when you had your accident. She was even openly flirting with Jack in this hospital.” Jonah said, looking worriedly at Mikael.

Mikael was silent, and this made Jonah feel even more angry at Mikael's wife. “I know Jenna is beautiful and you really like her, but ... you've been too kind and too forgiving. You-"

"She asked me to sign the divorce papers tomorrow."

Jonah was stunned, "Are you serious? Well ... that's good. You can get away from that unfaithful woman."

"I refuse to sign."

"W-what? Mike, come on! Why are you holding on to a woman who doesn't like you at all?" Jonah stared in disbelief.

"There's something I need to get before we're officially divorced, Jonah," Mikael explained.

Jonah frowned, looking reluctant, but after thinking it over carefully, he replied, "All right, take care of your business and sign the divorce papers right away. You're a good man, you'll find a woman who will appreciate you."

"Don't worry! I will definitely divorce her. It's ... just a matter of time."

Mikael was clearly not interested in continuing the marriage. He was not the Mikael Summer who was crazy about a woman who did not even deserve his attention, even if only a little.

He was Mikael Avery, who would not let anyone humiliate him or take advantage of him. Anyone who dared to offend him would surely suffer terrible consequences.

Mikael began to count the days. He still had six full days before his funeral would be held by the palace.

"Jonah, can you ask the hospital if I can be discharged today?"

Jonah looked at him in surprise, "Are you crazy? You just woke up from a coma, Mike. How can you want to leave the hospital? Especially now?"

"Just ask, Jonah!"

Jonah snorted but in the end did what his friend asked. When the two doctors examined his body carefully, they were both quite surprised by the results of Mikael's medical examination.

“How about it, Doctor? Can I leave the hospital now?”

The two doctors exchanged glances, looking somewhat confused and surprised. But one of them finally spoke, “You’re recovering quickly, Mr. Mikael. All the tests indicate that you have no complications.”

"You ... can go home now!" the other doctor continued.

Jonah could only stare in amazement at Mikael, who had already gotten out of bed and was walking toward his bag.

"Jonah, can you take me to the Brown family's house now?"

Dilon let out a long sigh, his gaze softening as he looked at Arion. “Don’t twist it like that,” he said softly. “You’re still my friend. You always have been. That hasn’t changed.”Arion fell silent for a moment, but his jaw tightened. “But you just said we’re here to compete.”“Yes,” Dilon replied firmly. “As participants, we are rivals. But that doesn’t mean I’ve stopped considering you a friend.”The explanation made sense, but for some reason it only made Arion even more annoyed. There was something in Dilon’s tone-too rational, too cold that made him feel like their relationship was being weighed, not lived.“I don’t like the way you think,” Arion muttered finally.Dilon frowned. “Arion, it’s not what you think. You’re just-”“It really doesn’t matter if you consider me a rival too,” Arion cut in quickly. He turned around, then walked away, choosing to sit on the other side of the room. The distance between them, which had been just a few steps, now felt like a chasm.Dilon fel

She really is beautiful! Absolutely stunning!” a young man in the back row whispered, nearly choking with nervousness as he stared at Diana.“If she weren’t beautiful, how could King Philup be so smitten with her?” replied his friend, stifling a laugh.Mikael Avery’s composure was instantly shattered. His fists clenched at his sides. He knew exactly what their stares meant. Every graceful step Diana took seemed to fan the embers of anger in his chest.‘Bastard!
