Chapter 1
Chapter 1
“You’ve got steady hands, Richard,” Sia whispered seductively as she stared lustfully at him, biting her lower lips.
“Bet they’re good for more than just handling herbs.” Richard flashed her a quick awkward smile, “mm-hmm” and returned his focus to sorting the herbs. Suddenly, a clattering sound echoed in the room and when Richard turned to see, he was met by a familiar sight; Katya’s lacy pants. Clearly, she had intentionally dropped the container at Richard’s feet, leaning over to pick it up. She knew her short skirt would lift just enough to reveal her underwear. Though used to things like this, Richard felt his face heat up and he quickly looked away, pretending not to see anything. “Richard!” An urgent voice burst through the door. “Is there an emergency?” His voice was urgent as he washed his hands, ready to respond. “It’s Ginny! She- she’s not breathing well. You need to hurry!” the apprentice gasped. Without hesitation, he left for her ward. Richard walked in just to see Ginny almost naked. With a seductive voice, she feigned pain, “My chest hurts so much, you have to help me… please just come take a look.” She looked up at him with a mix of desperation and allure. Richard was fully aware of the situation right now—she was only pretending. And being the only male apprentice or possessing handsome looks that could rival an Adonis didn’t quite help matters for him. He sighed, shaking his head. “Just… get dressed.” With that, he left. “Richard!!” He recognized Katya and Sia’s voices. He threw his hands in the air in mock surrender. “Will you two ever give me a break?” his tone was laced with a hint of exasperation making them chuckle. They knew he’d never really get upset at them which only made their teasing more enjoyable. They fastened their pace, “A letter was delivered for you,” one of them voiced out. Richard‘s brows furrowed slightly as he wasn’t expecting any letter. Maybe it was from their long gone master, he thought. He collected it and quickly read it. It was open, and as his eyes moved down the lines, his brows knitted together. “I’m a wretched village doctor?” he murmured the part of the letter in disbelief. It was a letter from his fiancée, Delilah, and it read; “As the preeminent war goddess of Kora, I deserve a partner of true substance and strength. A wretched village doctor simply won’t do. Our engagement is therefore canceled.” Richard’s face fell. He had never met Delilah and the engagement was simply an arrangement made by his master, so he hadn’t cared much for it either. But her arrogance… how could she refer to him as a wretched village doctor when she barely knew him? Is that how the rich and influential behave? He wondered. “Wow.” He folded the letter and slipped it into his pocket. Meanwhile, Katya and Sia had already hurried to share the news to the other apprentices. “You guys wouldn’t believe this!” Sia exclaimed. “Richard’s fiancée, the Crimson Valkyrie herself, called off their engagement. Just like that, as if he were a nobody!” “You can’t be serious,” Ginny’s eyes widened. She couldn’t believe it, none of them could. Anger flashed in their eyes as they exchanged glances. “Richard was rejected by Delilah?” Ginny asked again, trying to make sense out of it. Sia nodded, “She bluntly stated that only a partner of true substance and strength could match her standing, not a wretched village doctor.“ Ginny’s face twisted with anger as she let out a sharp hiss. “Who does she think she is, calling him a wretched village doctor?? Is she the first to achieve anything? “Just because she assumed the position of the nation’s War Goddess? Please!” Katya on the other hand was fuming as if the insulting letter was written to her. She scoffed, “Richard is our master’s best disciple,” she said, drawing invisible quotes in the air. “and he has more than proven it, saving hundreds of lives. Does she know how miraculous that is?” If Delilah didn’t know Richard’s worth, they did; Richard was not just the most skilled amongst them but also the sole inheritor of their master’s miraculous medical abilities. Unfortunately, Delilah had no idea she was about to let a rare gem slip from her hands. Better still, she has. Asides their anger, they felt sad on Richard’s behalf. Quickly, they went to find him to console him, when they met him packing his things, preparing to leave. “Where are you going?,” the eldest senior asked. “I should go see my fiancée’s family,” he replied, still focused on packing. Two years ago, before their master, Master Jung departed on his important journey, he gave Richard strict instructions about the engagement. He instructed him to personally go to the Delilah’s family in Ironvale to formalize the engagement. Even if the engagement is canceled, he must go there to do it officially. Though Richard was fine with the canceled engagement, he still had to honor his master’s instructions and meet Delilah’s grandfather, Sir Morrigan, hoping to officially cancel the engagement. Only him had the final say. “Here,” Sia stretched a black card to him. “Take this credit card along with you. It has no limit so use it as you please.” “There’s about 15 billion dollars in it, if you exhaust it, don’t hesitate to let me know,” she concluded. “15 billion dollars??” Richard’s eyes widened. “Why do you look surprised?” she laughed, “That much money is nothing.” Richard felt his breath catch in his throat. How could a person call fifteen billion dollars nothing?? Almost immediately, Ginny stepped forward and gave him a handwritten note. “When you get to Ironvale, go to Jameson corporation and show them this note. The corporation belongs to you now.” Before he could process his sudden ownership of one of the top major corporations in Kora, his other seniors showered him with more extravagant gifts. He even went on to receive a bottle of potent aphrodisiac and a mansion in an elite estate. Richard was thinking that the gifts had finally ended when Katya suddenly tossed a small ring at him. Richard caught it, confused, as he studied the delicate engravings on the ring. It had a silver emblem embedded with symbols he faintly recognized but couldn’t quite place. “Wear this when you get there,” she instructed. Her voice was steady, but there was an underlying pride as she explained. “That is not an ordinary ring. I once founded the Blood Moon Order. With this, you’ll be recognized as their leader and they’ll do as you command without question.” Richard’s eyes widened further, his jaw dropping in disbelief. “You… founded a sect? The Blood Moon Order at that? Isn’t that the nation’s largest–“ “The nation’s largest order of war gods,” she cut him off, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. “It was mine. But now, it’s yours.”Expand

Richard Valkar’s Dominance Has Come Chapter 195
Another Ashton warrior sneered as he dodged a desperate strike from a Kora fighter. “Pathetic. Do you even know how to wield a sword, or did they just hand you one and hope for the best?” He asked, making the others around him burst into laughter. “They weak as fuck!”“Haha. I expected more, can’t lie.”A Kora soldier gritted his teeth in pain, panting as he barely blocked an incoming strike. “You talk too much,” he spat, forcing himself to his feet. The Ashton warrior smirked, effortlessly pushing him back. “And you fight too little.” Without wasting time, he sent the Kora soldier crashing to the ground, the tip of his blade pressing against his throat. “Run. If you want to live.” But the Kora soldier refused to move. He knew this was the end for him as he had no ounce of strength left in him. He spat “I’d rather die than flee.” “Suit yourself,” the Ashton warrior said, raising his sword— —only to be met with a deadly slash from Richard, who appeared in a flash, his blade

Richard Valkar’s Dominance Has Come Chapter 193
“In the light of that, I have three special guests here to meet you all,” he said with a bright smile. Everyone began to look around for the guests. And just then, the steel door opened and three foreign commanders walked in. They were dressed like commanders but in different uniforms. Everyone turned to look at the three figures who had just entered. Their uniforms were foreign and their faces were unfamiliar. A murmur of confusion rippled through the ranks. Who were they?Had Richard brought in commanders to train them? If so, what was the point? Training was important, but they didn’t have the luxury of time. They thought. There was no drill, no technique, no strategy they could master in the little time left that would make a real difference against Ashton’s overwhelming forces. They turned their confused glances back to Richard, but he remained calm, his expression unreadable. When the commanders reached before Richard, they bowed deeply in reverence. Richard returned
