Daniel Everhart sat on the couch, staring at his phone with a dark expression. The banner of Sierra’s win was right in front of him, her face boldly displayed with the words Winner & Singer at Dominion Group Party. His jaw tightened.

"This girl… she’s already made 300k, and now she’s about to make another 100k, yet she had the nerve to tell me she couldn’t help me? What a joke," he muttered bitterly.

For the past day, his father had completely ignored his requests for money. Every call, every message, every excuse he tried—none of it worked. His father had even gone as far as threatening to lock him up if he kept pestering him about money. Daniel clenched his fists.

His lips curled into a sneer as he scrolled through the comments under the post, seeing people hyping Sierra up, praising her, celebrating her win.

"Fake-ass singer," he spat under his breath. "She’s just lucky, that’s all."

His fingers curled slightly, his jaw tightening as he began piecing together the motives—Zane Halden, the public confrontation, the bruised men who had failed to capture him, and the tracker placed on Sierra’s car.At that moment, Elijah’s expression darkened in thought, his brows knitting together as he pieced the situation together.“How did they… how did they get close enough to plant a tracker on Sierra’s car?” he muttered to himself, fingers tapping lightly on the table. For a brief moment, worry crept into his mind — was Sierra in danger? Had someone gotten close to her? Then it hit him.“Wait…” he whispered, his eyes narrowing.“The last time… I used Sierra’s car… I drove it to a few places… maybe that’s when they slipped in the tracker.”The realization settled over him.“It wasn’t Sierra they were after… it was me.”Elijah stood abruptly, his chair sliding back slightly. He grabbed his keys, his jaw tightening with determination.Moments later, he walked briskly out of the ho

The next morning, around 7:30 am, Inside the house, Sierra was already dressed neatly for the day, her handbag resting on the edge of the couch as she adjusted her earrings in front of the hallway mirror.Down the hall, Elijah had also woken up early, his mind sharper than usual after the discovery of the tracker the previous night. He had made quiet preparations, knowing it was necessary to redirect whoever was watching.Sierra grabbed her car keys from the console and turned toward him with a bright smile.“I’m done… I’ll be leaving now,” she said cheerfully.Elijah gave a small nod, opening his arms.“Come here.”Sierra stepped into his embrace, her arms wrapping around his waist as Elijah patted her back gently.“Good luck on your paper,” he said warmly.“Let me walk you downstairs.”“Of course,” Sierra smiled. They both walked out of the house together, descending the stairs into the driveway where the early morning breeze carried a quiet calm. Sierra pressed her Audi key fob, an

“**But listen carefully—no foolishness. Do not enter the estate to cause chaos or make a scene. Station yourselves from a distance, watch and wait. The moment he leaves the estate… you grab him and bring him directly to me.”His voice dropped colder.“And you, Richard… you will go with them. I don’t want any stories. I don’t want excuses. I want him standing before me.”Richard immediately bowed deeply, voice apologetic.“Yes sir… I understand, sir. Forgive me for earlier… it won’t happen again.”Ezekiel’s hard stare lingered for a moment before he waved his hand dismissively.“Get it done.”Richard quickly backed away, nodding in full submission before retreating from the dining hall.Elijah stepped out of the quiet living room, the soft hum of the television fading behind him as he made his way to the balcony, seeking some fresh air. The cool evening breeze brushed against his face as he casually scrolled through his phone, glancing through a few unread messages. But as his eyes dri

At the same time, Elijah, Felix, and Sierra were comfortably settled in the living room, Sierra’s head rested on Elijah’s lap, her body relaxed, curled slightly against the plush couch as the late-night news continued rolling.Felix sat nearby on the adjacent couch, phone in hand but eyes occasionally drifting toward the television.Suddenly, the news anchor’s tone shifted.“In our top story tonight, fresh footage continues to circulate on social media from this morning’s brutal incident at the compound of underworld figure Phantom Reiss, where members of the notorious Vorn Dogs gang were massacred after allegedly trying to take control of New Ember City’s underworld…”The screen switched to brief clips from the viral video, showing Phantom standing in the middle of bodies, issuing his bold warnings to other gangs.Sierra blinked at the screen, frowning slightly, then sighed.“This Phantom is… ruthless,” she muttered, shaking her head lightly.“Look at how he just… killed people lik

Kaizer leaned forward, resting his thick arms on his knees, the weight of his gold rings glinting under the dim light.“It’s simple,” he said slowly, eyes fixed on her. “I want you to entertain me… that’s where we start.”Sophia’s smile wavered, her brow furrowing slightly in confusion.“Entertain… you?” she asked cautiously.Kaizer scoffed, his grin dropping as he gave her a hard stare.“Don’t act like you don’t understand what I’m talking about.”“You will entertain me… in the bedroom. That’s your first assignment. You want money? You want to live plush? It starts there. How about it?”Sophia’s expression shifted, discomfort flashing in her eyes. She sat straighter, crossing her arms slightly in defense.“I… I can’t do that,” she said, shaking her head. Her voice held firm. “Not like this… not in that way.”Kaizer’s face darkened immediately, his jaw tightening. With a sharp movement, he spat off to the side, his tone laced with irritation.“Are you here to joke with me, girl?” he s

Her attention quickly locked onto a dominant figure seated near the center of the hall—a man whose presence practically swallowed the space around him.He appeared to be in his early sixties, dark-skinned, his head cleanly bald, a thick gold necklace gleaming around his thick neck, glinting under the low lights. A fat diamond ring rested on his pinky finger, and a cigar burned slowly between his fingers, wisps of smoke curling lazily upward.Around him, two young women dressed provocatively were perched on his lap, one running her hands across his chest, the other whispering into his ear while giggling, tracing kisses along his jawline. The manager beside Sophia straightened, respectfully nodding at the man.At just a wave of the older man’s hand, the two women stood up quickly and walked away, their smiles dropping as they disappeared into the crowd. The older man’s eyes, heavy and sharp, shifted
