As he kept on holding her hands, he felt something falling to the ground, he looked only to see the folded paper even more squeezed.

With curiosity at its peak, he opened the paper hastily. Only to see some words in bold letter, well inscripted "We really need you to run the villa and the companies all over the world for us. We really want you back Mr. Harrison and we miss you!"

Elliot was confused, was this paper meant for him? Or did the doctor gave him the wrong paper? Or was he mistaken for someone else?

He asked these questions with no particular answer as they flushed through his mind in one go.

Beads of sweat formed around his face, as he thought on. Just then, the door slightly opened enough for him to see the face he has always dreaded for years ever since he was born.

The face looked at him with eyes pleadingly. Elliot stared at him with bulging eyes, his fist were tightened and his veins were visible.

"You!! What do you think you're doing here?" Elliot yelled, his voice resounded through out the room.

His past memories flushed through his mind as he stared at the man's face. He probably has grown older than those times, wrinkles visible at some part of his face.

"Elliot, you've grown so much to become an handsome young man." Butler Lee said softly as he slowly walked towards Elliot.

Elliot stood up sharply, pointing fiercelessly at the man opposite him. He hated every moment of it! This was just absurd!

Elliot scoffed, "Oh! This just begins to make sense, you paid for my Nana's bills, right?"

Butler Lee stood there, staring fixated at Elliot's eyes, not saying a word so Elliot took it as a yes.

Before anything could be said, Elliot pointed towards the door, "Get out, your presence irks me out."

Butler Lee walked towards Elliot, even more closer and handed him another paper, then left.

Elliot stared on, fuming in anger. He held his head in great pains, memories he had always longed to forget came back flooding to his head. It was just too painful!

Little Elliot knelt down with tears flowing freely down his chubby cheeks, a middle aged woman knelt beside him as they both cried heartily.

Another middle aged man stood as if he wasn't moved, staring blankly at the duo crying. "Just get out of here."  He said as calm as ever, his eyes looking at the woman with nothing but pure hatred.

"Please, Henry, I beg of you. Just think about your child, what would become of him, if we left." She cried out.

The man scoffed, was this woman in front of him joking?

The man looked at Butler Lee straight forward, "Get them out of here." He said and walked out majestically.

The woman tried running after him, but she was pushed away forcefully, resulting to a slight brain loss.

Elliot still held his head, tears streamed down his face, those memories were too heavy and painful to relive. No! Never! He couldn't just accept their pleas like that.

He squeezed his Nana's hand gently, quietly wishing his mother was here to witness their greatest enemy beg them.

He looked at the paper folded in his hands, boldly inscripted on it was one of the most biggest companies in New York City.

He scoffed, "Of course, they would have one of the biggest companies in the world, they were filthy rich" He said internally.

His life was starting to get him confused, part of him wanted to accept this, but another part of him doesn't wants to give in easily.

"These people hurt me and my mother" He muttered under his breath.

In a large company, murmuring and little sounds were heard faintly in a closed large room in which one could easily get that a meeting was going on.

Hannah sat still as her eyes pierced at everyone in the room. People were gathered chattering away while she sat there lonely.

Ever since she got engaged to Elliot, people avoided her like a plague, her own family made her to seem like nothing but a stranger.

She sighed, peeking at the entrance every now and then waiting for Lady Hart. Out of a sudden, sounds of shoes clinging softly to the floor was clearly heard moving towards the room, and soon enough, the door was widely open enough to see the face of a vibrant woman who seemed to look younger every minute.

At her presence, everyone stood up signifying respect.  A smile crept her lips, her vibrant red gown which stood elegantly on her well curved body, dangling golden ear rings dangled around her ear with her wavy dark hair, she walked towards her seat.

She smiled yet again, "You may all have your seat." And at her command, everyone sat down and waited for her to speak, then she continued, "Our Stock has been falling recently, any ideas why?"

She asked, looking around only to be answered with silence. Her anger brew to it's peak!

"What is this? Are this people trying to humiliate me?" She asked herself. Out of great anger, she banged the table harshly enough for everyone to face down.

The atmosphere became tense, everyone's heart skipped, they instantly knew they were all in trouble. Hannah on the other hand, sat still, not moving an inch, she didn't want to get noticed or she was doomed, her Grandmother already hated her enough.

"What is all this?" She yelled piercing daggers at everyone present, she burned in anger. Her once vibrant smile turned to a deathly glare.

"Can't you all answer me?" She yelled yet again.

Nobody dared talk, they shivered in fear at the woman in front of them. Everywhere was quiet as a graveyard, time seemed to pass by as slow as hell. It was a painful and slow moment for everyone.

Hannah muttered quietly, but it seemed it was not that quiet enough for Lady Hart not to hear. Her deathly glare shifted to her grand-daughter, "Anything you care to share with us, Hannah?" She asked, a smirk on her face as her eyes glistened.

Hannah looked up, her eyes widened in shock!

He rolled his eyes, 'Oh great, now they were really close and making promises, huh?' He thought."Well, don't you worry Nana, she's at her family home and would be back soon." He replied.Out of a sudden, she came closer to him, stroking his hair gently and sweetly making him moan softly in pleasure, "I've told you several times, if you don't feel comfortable calling me Nana, you could just call me mother if that's okay with you." She stopped, then continued, "I've been taking care of you since you were little, you can just call me mother if you want."Elliot purred in satisfaction, his tense system and emotions calmed down a little bit. His worries flew away like a bird and he closed his eyes, trying to sink in every sweet moment they had."Mother," He called out for the very first time in a very long time. The word sent chills down his stomach and it made him felt a little awkward. He hasn't called anyone 'mother' for a very long time. And now that he was doing it, it felt somehow

  • Chapter 66

Elliot walked towards the car and sat beside Andrew, with bulging eyes, he asked, "That's bad. What if Hannah or Lady Hart or any of her relatives that knows me watched the news?" He searched Andrew's eyes worriedly but it doesn't seem like Andrew was concerned. He just wore a nonchalant face when something bad just happened to him. "Why don't you seem concerned?" Elliot asked out of the blue, staring at Andrew's eyes trying to fathom what he was currently thinking. Andrew shrugged a little bit, "What we have at hand is definitely way more worse than Hannah, or her parents or relatives seeing you on TV."Elliot stared at Andrew for some damn time, now he was confusing him. Come to think of it, he has been speaking indifferently ever since he called him this morning."Oh," He tapped his head hard, "And what did you want to tell me, that you claimed was so urgent?""We need to get home first, what I want to tell you might shake you a bit." He spoke , but he never left the road.Elliot

  • Chapter 65:

"Well, it felt great and the opposite at the same time. Everything seemed too excess to me, when I knew that the less privileged needed those things and I had the excess of those things." Then he looked around the people for some time and continued, "So that's why I thought that I would do my utmost best to help the less privileged, even if it isn't in my position to do so."An uproar of applause rounded the air, and the cameras did their work effectively too. The Smile on the crowd's face made his heart warm up a little. He knew what it felt like to feel hungry, and desperately needed money for it. He stood up, and bowed in respect to their applause. The interviewer smiled brightly, in all his years of interviewing and questioning rich people or celebrities, they have never opened up to him or the whole crowd like this. He could notice that in Elliot's voice, there was no such thing as proudness, he couldn't feel any hint of proudness in his tone. Plus, he was subjected to humility.

  • Chapter 64:

And that moment, she stood up too, "Then I'm not calling her to call it off. Whether you like it or not, she's coming here." She replied, then walked out on him hurriedly and went to her room, then the sound of the room closing hardly enveloped the air.He glanced at the table in frustration, then his eyes moved over to her phone lying there uselessly. Then an accomplished smile crept up his lips as he picked it up and dialed her number. "Hello?" She spoke, the sound of whooshing air was heard at the background of the calling."You can turn."Lady Hart turned her head in confusion, and she sneered before she spoke, "What in the hell are you talking about?" He spoke gently, making his every word sound creasy, "I said you can turn back, Lady Hart." He answered back.A strand of sweat lingered around his forehead. He couldn't fathom what she would do next, but he stood his stance. If he could just avoid her coming here, maybe his wife wouldn't die like she did in his dream."I'm almost

  • Chapter 63:

"How is she?" Lady's Hart's voice spoke fluently at the other side of the phone, her voice as lively as ever.Disgust and nothing but hate flushed down his system. If his wife really died, he was going to make sure he finished this woman before he died. Even if it means going to jail or getting killed for it.After hearing her voice being lively, his hands shook. Her voice and words made him remember his wife. That was how she talked, so lively!"Hello?" Lady Hart's voice spoke yet again after she waited for some time and didn't hear any response."You there?" She repeated, but an ounce of pity wasn't evident in her voice."She's dead." He managed to say, then smashed the phone against the floor angrily. He didn't care what she would feel, but still, he knew she wouldn't care since she was pitiless. She was nothing but a nonchalant, wicked, money-loved mother and mother in law to them. And to Hannah, she wasn't the perfect grandmother. Ever since Hannah was young, he would remember w

  • Chapter 62:

She held her head in pains, her mouth looked painfully twitched and her eyes were closed tight, not even opening for a second."Honey, are you okay?" He asked curiously, he ran to where she was. Her back rested unto the wall hardly, she wriggled her hands and head every now and then. She ignored his question, it felt like heavy drumming was happening in her head, and she tried speaking but she just couldn't.Mr Hart gazed backwards only to see Lady Hart already seated on the dining chair once again, sipping orange juice while giggling over her phone nonchalantly. She acted as if they didn't exist. He sneered, right now, he didn't have time for this woman. He dragged his wife in pain, she was unconscious already and her body was heavier than what he thought, her breathing was unstable and it felt like life was slowly slipping out of her.He was getting convinced that something happened, "Honey?" He muttered to her ears, but unfortunately, there was no response for a long time.He wiggl
