Violet’s cut in, “Phtui! Sandra, stop playing the victim. You have no right to parade that little bastard as family. If Anna pushed my son, she deserves to be taught a lesson even if she dies for it.”

Sandra’s body shook, “That’s enough, Violet! You’re being unreasonable. Is your son so precious and mine just a weed?”

Violet’s mouth twisted into a cruel smile. “Shut up,” she snapped. “How can your filthy daughter be compared to my son? He is the Lannister family’s treasure. Your child is the offspring of a madman. Maybe she’ll inherit his sickness. Sooner or later, she’ll leave you.”

Boom!

The word madman struck Ethan like a bell. Six years ago, to evade pursuit, Ethan disguised himself as a mentally ill and hid in a psychiatric hospital. That mentally ill person is none other himself.

Does that mean Anna is his daughter?

He shoved past the security guards and rushes toward Sandra.

“Sandra! Tell me, is she my daughter?”

Sandra looked up slowly, looking at Ethan in bewilderment her eyes slowly widening.

“You — you…”

Ethan didn’t let her breathe. “Yes,” he said, “It's me. Tell me, is she mine?

Violet’s shriek of outrage exploded. “Who let this beggar in? Get him out!” she cried, pointing a finger. "Wait a minute... Ethan?" Her tone changed as the name slid loose from her own lips. “That name sound familiar. Ethan you are that ill person Ethan Alistair, the lunatic?”

She clutched at Kelvin’s sleeve. “Dad! Grandpa!
Everyone — come here! Sandra’s mad husband is back!”

“Tell me Sandra, is Anna my daughter? Don’t beat around it. Tell me now.” Ethan anxiously urges.

Sandra closes her eyes in pain, letting tears fall.

Is this an acknowledgement? Ethan's mind trembles profoundly.

"Haha, it is that madman! I didn't expect him to return after leaving six years ago. Good for them, their useless family is finally reunited"

"Grandpa, you see they are all crazy in this family. Letting them attend Olivier's birthday party is an insult to the Lannister family."

"Why couldn't you learn from her parent, Sandra?
How wise of them to stay away and avoid ruining the day! Unlike you, Sandra, they know that nothing good can come from their attendance here."

"Haven't you suffered enough humiliation these past six years, Sandra? Did you have to let our friends and the family witness your disgraceful self again?

A group of people pointing fingers, mocking and insulting....

Sandra is angry, trembling all over.
However, there was nothing she could say or do. She hugged her daughter tightly and wept. In these six years, she has become accustomed to these insults and humiliations. Ethan can't believe it, and if he didn't see it with his own eyes, who would believe that they are a family with Sandra?

Especially just now with Anna being beaten, cursed at and Sandra being slapped, unable to resist all in fronts of the guests of the Lannister family. What kind of madness must the Lannister family have behind closed doors? So reckless?

In these six years, how much injustice and torment have Sandra and her daughter endured?

Ethan dares not imagine! They called him, "Ethan the Phoenix", the commander of Iron fang Brigade, bathed in blood, and fought to protect a nation, yet ultimately failed to protect his wife and daughter....

How tragic is this?!

How Ironic?!

Self-blame, guilt, endless remorse.
Along with it, a blazing anger ignited. Today, he would annihilate the Lannister family!

Everyone who had insulted his wife and daughter must die! These gangs and families would know who the real mafia boss.

Ethan’s voice cut through the courtyard like a blade. “Shut up!” he shouted. The air seemed to pull back; the laughter died mid-note. His bloodshot eyes swept the assembly and froze them.

For a second the Lannisters could only stare. Then, as if a cue had been given, Violet recovered her composure. This was the Lannisters’ ground; what had she to fear? To her and her circle he was still a worthless madman.

“Who does he think he is, ordering us like servants? If that… beggar makes my boy cry, I’ll have his whole family torn apart. I’ll see them buried before nightfall.”

Ethan’s hand curled into a fist, knuckles whitening. The urge behind his ribs throbbed like a trapped animal. He had to force himself to breathe, to drag that urge back down into bone and blood. It was like holding back a storm with bare hands.

He steadied himself, voice low and terrible in its calm. “For Sandra’s sake, for that Anna’s sake, I’ll give you one chance.” He stepped forward so that his tone could reach every ear.

“Kneel and apologize to my wife and Daughter.”

“We…” Sandra wanted to explain, but Ethan interrupted directly, his tone cold and steady.“What’s with your attitude? Is this how you serve customers? Call your manager.”“Haha, you? Customer?” Linette sneered, folding her arms. “Also, you want to talk to my manager? What do you think is going to happen when the manager comes here? Someone like you, who can’t even afford to buy a house, wants to have me fired?”A cold glint flashed in Ethan’s eyes. “Indeed,” he said evenly, “today I want to buy a house and fire you.”Linette burst out laughing, mockery thick in her voice. “Haha! Bro, did you forget to take your medicine today? Talking nonsense here? Okay then, you want to buy a house? You want to fire me? Try it. I’m standing right here. If you can accomplish one thing today, I’ll kneel down and call you grandpa.”“Miss Lane, don’t be like this… It’s my fault for introducing them to you. Leaving the Harrowgate Group, Sandra finally felt the tension in her chest ease as she and Ethan slid into the backseat of a taxi. The moment the door shut behind them, it was like the noise, blood, and chaos from earlier evaporated into the night.“Hello,” Sandra said quickly to the driver, her voice trembling with both nerves and excitement. “Let’s go to the Lannister Group.” The driver nodded and pulled into traffic. Sandra clutched the heavy bag of cash on her lap, feeling the rough texture of the woven sack beneath her fingers. Five million. The number alone made her heart race. It didn’t even feel real—like a fever dream she hadn’t woken from. Every time she blinked, she half-expected the bag to vanish, for the world to remind her that people like her didn’t get moments like this. And yet… here she was.She couldn’t help but picture Kelvin’s face when she walked into his office with all this money. The smug expression, the condescending tone—gone in an instant. Let’s see you l

A few of Michael’s lieutenants—men quick on reflex and quicker to obey—stepped forward as if to haul him up. Michael snapped at them without lifting his head. “Get out. All of you—out!” His voice had the brittle edge of a man terrified of being overheard. The men hesitated, then melted back into the shadowy corridor, suits rustling like dead leaves.Sandra’s mouth hung open. She watched Michael on his knees, the most powerful underground lord in Brentwood, bowing and murmuring “forgive me” like a penitent. Her mind scrambled for an explanation: why was he doing this? What had she missed?Michael did not stop. He prostrated himself with the practiced desperation of a man whose instructions had come from the only mouth that mattered that morning—Logan Vane’s. Logan had warned him tightly: do not let any blind, reckless subordinate confront Ethan the Phoenix. Keep your people in check. And yet here he was—face in the carpet, begging the man they were meant to kill.Everything a man like

Sandra’s heart hammered like a drum in her ches. The tension in the office was suffocating — a violent quiet before the storm. She clutched Ethan’s sleeve, trembling from head to toe.“Mr. Blinders, please—” she blurted out, her voice shaking. “We didn’t know about your relationship with Mr. Gideon. We didn’t mean any offense. We can drop the settlement, we’re not interested in the money anymore!”Her words tumbled over each other in desperation. Sandra had never faced men like this — the kind whose eyes held danger, whose every breath hinted at blood. The underworld was not a place she was built for; her courage cracked beneath its weight.Gideon’s laughter erupted, loud and vile, echoing through the ruined office. “Hahaha! That’s right! Beg! I like that!” He leaned on the desk with his broken leg trembling beneath him, face twisted into something monstrous. “So, Miss Sandra Lannister — now you understand what it means to offend someone you can’t afford to offend, huh?”His tone drip

  • Ethan Phoenix is in Brentwood

In less than three minutes, the office looked like a battlefield.Steel pipes lay twisted across the floor. Men groaned, some clutching broken legs, others lying motionless in spreading pools of blood. The stench of iron filled the air. The walls, once polished and white, were now smeared with red handprints.Gideon’s breath caught in his throat. His whole body trembled as he slid down the side of the broken desk. His eyes darted across the scene — his “elite” men, the thugs he’d handpicked and trained himself, now sprawled out like discarded trash.Impossible… This is impossible, he thought, his heart pounding so hard he could hear it in his ears. What the hell is he? A demon?Gideon’s mind raced. He knew his men. They weren’t amateurs — they’d crushed rivals, scared loan sharks, even made police officers look the other way. And yet, this one man had dismantled them as if they were children swinging sticks. He swallowed hard, his throat dry. The thought sent chills down his spine. Wh
