Chapter 137: A Difficult Question

“That's enough. We're in the class and people are watching,” he complained as she clenched tightly to him as though her life depended on him.

“I don't care if they're watching. What matters is that my friend is here with me,” she responded and he shook his head with a sigh.

“Yeah. You're right,” he muttered and whined softly then she pulled away from the hug.

“It seems you guys seem close. But you should know that hugging in the class in such a way is inappropriate,” Mr. David said and he arched his eyebrows.

“Inappropriate?”

“Is there a rule that prohibits us, the students, from hugging against each other?” Smith asked and Mr. David looked up instantly.

“I know there's none but that doesn't mean you should…” he interrupted Mr. David before he could complete his statement.

“I think that's enough for the proof that I need,” he said and Mr. David stared at him speechless.
