Tom's pov.

I pushed her away slightly, feeling the weight of my words, "We shouldn't be doing this," I said, but my voice betrayed the turmoil within me.

Araina moved closer, her eyes pleading. "Why deny it, Tom? I love you. I want to be with you."

"It's impossible. I'm already in love with someone else."

"Are you sure you love her, Tom? I can sense your feelings," she insisted, drawing nearer. Pushing me gently onto the sofa, she kissed me. This time, I couldn't resist. As we kissed, I felt myself betraying Riley, every second eroding my loyalty.
