Chapter 34: Waiter Boy!

Jason stared in shock as the car pulled away from the curb and sped away.

He was utterly speechless. Was the car stalking him? Who was the driver and what did he want with him?

His thoughts ran wild as he watched the car disappear down the road.

“Move it, some of us want to get home.” A voice said as he was shoved from behind.

Jason realized that he was blocking the road on the busy sidewalk and immediately walked to the side.

He glanced at his phone and saw that it was already six o'clock. He had roughly one hour to get home, change out of his clothes and head over to the Charleston manor for dinner.

He made his way down the sidewalk as he blended in with the throngs of people who were going back to their homes.

He noticed the looks people gave him as he walked along. He didn't blame them, if it were someone else he knew he'd probably cross over to the other side of the road.

Jason got home later than usual, his time running out more and more.
