Chapter 130

Ethan and Maya sat opposite each other, their expressions bright and faint smiles danced at the edges of their lips.

The food was set on the table before them but Ethan hadn't yet touched his plate. Maya was only taking little nibbles from her plate once in a while as she was completely engrossed with Ethan while he spoke to her.

Anyone who looked at the both of them in the restaurant would regard them as couples who were on a date. Well, it was a date.

"...I was only lucky to get out of there safely because Andrew had told some bodyguards to keep me safe." Said Ethan as he came to the conclusion of his brief narration.

Maya's eyes twinkled like she had just heard a fairy tale story. But after a while of thinking about it, she discovered that she hadn't been truly listening. But luckily, she still recalled what Ethan had said.

"That fool!" Maya cursed at Philip. Her face flushed as she imagined what would have happened to Ethan if he hadn't been protected by those two mysterious bodyg
