Ray motioned for his men, and they moved swiftly, stepping out and clearing everyone outside the store with military precision. The manager, Ms. Tricia, returned, her face pale with fear. She trembled as she approached Jamie, but there was no longer any hint of defiance in her gaze—just an overwhelming dread.

"Please, Mr. Jamie," she begged, her voice shaking. "Let me settle this with you. You can pay for what you took... and I am sorry for my misconduct earlier and those of the girls."

Jamie didn't even blink as he swiped his card, clearing the five million-dollar bill without hesitation. Ms. Tricia stared at the receipt in disbelief, but there was nothing she could do. Her hands trembled as she handed Jamie his purchases, and with a nod, he turned and walked out of the store. Questions filled her head to ask but she wouldn’t dare, Ray Fenix was very clear with his instructions, the consequences of disobedience would be dire.

He lingered at the plaza’s gate, the sun glinting off his haul, waiting for a taxi. Then came the rumble—three black G-Wagons, sleek and menacing, screeched to a halt before him. Doors flew open, and ten men spilled out, clad in tailored suits and earpieces.

Their leader, a lean figure with a hawkish face, dropped to one knee, the rest following. "Young Master," he intoned, voice steady. "We’ve been sent by your grandfather to escort you."

Jamie was momentarily stunned. "My grandfather?" he asked, the words barely escaping his lips.

“Yes, Young Master. We are here to serve you. You will no longer need to worry about anything.”

Jamie eyed the cars—$2 million each, customized with military-grade armor and tech, pocket change to the fleet Raymond had promised. A grin tugged at him—his life was a campus fable now, rags to riches in a heartbeat.

“I’m Tom Yates,” the man said, handing over a sleek tablet. “Your PA and head of security—a squad of nine special elite forces under me.”

Tom was a tall, imposing figure, his suit tailored to perfection, and his demeanor exuded a sense of authority. Jamie followed him into the middle G-Wagon’s plush interior, his mind still processing everything that had happened.

As the car drove through the streets, Tom filled Jamie in on the details. "Your grandfather is watching over you," Tom said. "And he will not allow you to suffer the way you have in the past. Everything has been arranged. You have security, wealth, and influence beyond your wildest dreams. But the most important thing is... you are never alone in this anymore."

Jamie nodded, his thoughts still swirling. This was a new chapter in his life, one he hadn’t been prepared for, but he was determined to take control of it.

Soon, they arrived at the Clayton Skyline Hotel—a luxury 12-star property that looked more like a palace than a hotel. The penthouse suite, which Jamie was told was now his, was worth over $2 million a night and $79.9 million to own.. It was nothing short of extraordinary. Tom led Jamie inside, showing him every detail of his new home. There was a private helipad, a massive swimming pool, and a collection of cars that would make any billionaire jealous.

“This is yours, Young Master,” Tom said, gesturing to the entire penthouse. “Everything in it is yours. And when you’re ready, we can fly you to the Lady Goodwin yacht for Sonia’s birthday party. You are the special guest.”

Tom passed him a velvet box. Jamie cracked it open—an invite to Sonia Goodwin’s yacht party on the Lady Goodwin. “A high-ranking Ashford subordinate was the special guest,” Tom explained. “The Goodwins and Crooks were so thrilled when we honoured the invitation. Now you’re taking his place as the special guest.”

Jamie smiled. For the first time in years, he felt like he was finally in control. He had been brought here for a reason, and he wasn’t going to waste it.

Jamie’s smile widened. “And after?”

“Your granfather has ordered us to fly you to one of your late father’s private islands in the Maldives. You’ll meet there—officially, and get proper answers to all your questions.”

Jamie leaned back, the leather cradling him. A private island—his father’s—while he and his mother had scraped by in squalor. If only she’d told him. Soon, Raymond would explain it all.

Before he could say anything further, his phone rang. It was from the hospital. St. Mary’s General—the one he now owned. He answered, and a crisp voice greeted him, the new head doctor. “Sir, per your instructions about your stepfather’s checkups, Ben Reynold’s here today. Routine visit.”

Jamie’s lips curled. Ben’s biweekly ritual at St. Mary’s—treatment for a creeping illness he couldn’t skip. If he misses a week, and his odds of dying spiked over 60%, a clock he never dared test. Jamie knew it well, he had seen the man’s diligence and commitment to this routine at St. Mary’s. But after the cruelty, the party, the corpse—Ben deserved to squirm.

“Keep him there,” Jamie said, voice cold. “No treatment till I say. Stall him.” Jamie was yet to decide what punish Ben deserved for all he did to him and his now-late mother.

“Yes, sir,” the doctor replied, and the line went dead.

Jamie tapped the phone against his chin, plotting Ben’s punishment—something slow, fitting. Just then, another call cut through—Ray Fenix. “Momentuum’s shut down, boss. And we have Mick with us, bound to a chair. Waiting for your instruction, boss.”

“Good,” Jamie said. “I’ll come when I’m ready. Just keep him there.” He hung up.

Jamie smiled. Things were moving faster than he had expected. Now, it was time to take back everything that was rightfully his—and more.

For now, he had a party to attend, he couldn’t wait to see the faces of his nemeses when they see him land on that yacht in a private helicopter. Hahaha!

Sonia's face became bitter. “My home was ruined. My dad is still recovering from brain damage because of Victoria. I'm glad that the…um, what's the creature again?”Jamie replied, “It's the Yako Vexora. A kind of fox demon.”Sonia nodded her head as she continued. “Right. I'm glad that the fox demon is gone for good. But if they can send that powerful dark entity after my dad, all just to force me into marrying Tyson, what other dark entities can they send to mess with my dad and me?” “Also, what if they don't come directly for my dad next time? What if they come for my uncles, aunts, or even grandparents? Jamie, I have nieces and nephews that I would willingly sacrifice a lot for. I can't just let them become another target of the Crook family.”Jamie tightened his fist, his friends deepening. “I understand, Sonia. Something has to be done about the Crook family as well. They need to go as well.”It was decided that Sonia and her father would remain in Jamie's penthouse until their

From the private report, Jamie was informed that Stacy would most likely wake up as a different woman. Of course, she would be fine, but it's going to be more than that. Stacy would have evolved to become more than just the regular human she was when she went into a coma.Jamie was worried about the inevitable revelation and private conversations this would lead to once Stacy was awake. But a part of him was just as excited about this.Stacy has somehow become more of Jamie's sister than she is to the Reynolds brothers. She's now an extraordinary human, just like him. Back to the present,Billy folded his hands into fists. “By the way, what are we going to do about Edward Reynold?! We can't seriously just let him get away with what he has done to Stacy, right?”Sonia nodded her head. “Clearly, he's working with the Reynolds brothers and their father. They must be trying to force Stacy to their dark side. Edward must be the one in charge of that mission. We have to bring him down befo

Jamie scoffed. “The Space-Time foundation is a uniquely bloodline-attributed manifestation, isn't it?”Tom nodded his head. “So far, only a very few members of the blood-born members of the Ashford clan have been able to awaken a Space-Time manifestation outside the Yates family.”“Sadly, those esteemed people have no interest in evolving their manifestations. Hence, I can only say that very few within the Yates family have held onto maintaining the Space-Time manifestation.”Jamie listened with patience. “Go and begin your investigation. Since you're sure you can get the work done on Victoria's soul. Once you fully extract all information from her, extinguish that soul.”Tom bowed and left. A couple of minutes later, Jamie felt Sonia squeeze his hand, causing him to lean forward with expectant eyes. “Sonia, my love!”Sonia opened her eyes to find her boyfriend staring back at her. “Jamie, what are you….”Jamie hugged Sonia before she could finish her sentence, relief that refused to

Jamie groaned through his words. “Look at me, Tom. My body fucking hurts. The bones haven't fully healed yet; seven out of nine energy reserves are dry as fuck. I wish you could see what they look like. Fuck, I should be dead by now.”“Every muscle in my body hurts like hell. I'm thirsty, hungry, and exhausted as fuck.”Jamie bent down to take a closer inspection of Jamie. “That was an incredibly dangerous thing you did there, Young Master Jamie. Containing the explosive force of a Pseudo S-Rank dark entity with Telekinesis. Do you have any idea the devastating damage it could leave on your psyche?”He sighed heavily. “There's a very good reason mental manifestations are incredibly rare, Young Master …..”Jamie groaned louder. “Stop! Now is not the time for any lecture. I just told you how beat I am! So stop nagging me.”A warm smile spread across Tom's face. “It's rare to hear you whine like this. Stella is gonna regret never getting to witness it.”Jamie glanced at him with a glare

Jamie clenched his jaw as he steadied his footing. Hands already held out as the fox got within four feet… then the large dark entity froze. It was as if time just stopped around the dark entity.“What now! Why can't I move?!” The Yako Vexora screeched out, eyes red with the raging bloodthirsty desire to clench her jaw on Jamie and sink her large canines into his body.Jamie smirked weakly. “If you can't figure that out, I'm not answering any more questions. This is where it ends for you.”Victoria figured it out a second later. “It's Telekinesis! You….I won't let you escape me!”Heavily bleeding, she pressed her claws deeper into her own heart and pumped it full of energy. The next second, she glowed incredibly brightly and went off like an atomic bomb. With the location being within the city of Los Angeles, Jamie could not let the explosion go wild. Otherwise, there would be casualties that would definitely spread far beyond the walls of the Goodwin family's estate. Not to mention

A reckless fighter stops planning and moves solely based on instinct. To Jamie, instinct is a habitual pattern that the body would display without thought. The pattern can be read, and hence avoided or exploited for the weakness it carries.Jamie found that weakness immediately. He waited for the Yako Vexora to get really close to him, swiping her sharp claws straight at him. He then flashed away from the spot only to appear right behind the fox demon. Then he executed one last manifestation he had been hiding.Double Sword Frost. This is the manifestation he obtained from observing his cousin's General, Naomi Cho, fight in battle against Wally the Strigoi and the B-Rank dark entity on the first night he met those two women.Jamie's immediate surroundings had dropped tremendously in temperature. About a ten-foot-radius sphere was now below zero degrees Celsius. Within those seconds, a sword appeared in each of his outstretched hands. These swords were made completely of ice, but la
