Ray motioned for his men, and they moved swiftly, stepping out and clearing everyone outside the store with military precision. The manager, Ms. Tricia, returned, her face pale with fear. She trembled as she approached Jamie, but there was no longer any hint of defiance in her gaze—just an overwhelming dread.
"Please, Mr. Jamie," she begged, her voice shaking. "Let me settle this with you. You can pay for what you took... and I am sorry for my misconduct earlier and those of the girls."
Jamie didn't even blink as he swiped his card, clearing the five million-dollar bill without hesitation. Ms. Tricia stared at the receipt in disbelief, but there was nothing she could do. Her hands trembled as she handed Jamie his purchases, and with a nod, he turned and walked out of the store. Questions filled her head to ask but she wouldn’t dare, Ray Fenix was very clear with his instructions, the consequences of disobedience would be dire.
He lingered at the plaza’s gate, the sun glinting off his haul, waiting for a taxi. Then came the rumble—three black G-Wagons, sleek and menacing, screeched to a halt before him. Doors flew open, and ten men spilled out, clad in tailored suits and earpieces.
Their leader, a lean figure with a hawkish face, dropped to one knee, the rest following. "Young Master," he intoned, voice steady. "We’ve been sent by your grandfather to escort you."
Jamie was momentarily stunned. "My grandfather?" he asked, the words barely escaping his lips.
“Yes, Young Master. We are here to serve you. You will no longer need to worry about anything.”
Jamie eyed the cars—$2 million each, customized with military-grade armor and tech, pocket change to the fleet Raymond had promised. A grin tugged at him—his life was a campus fable now, rags to riches in a heartbeat.
“I’m Tom Yates,” the man said, handing over a sleek tablet. “Your PA and head of security—a squad of nine special elite forces under me.”
Tom was a tall, imposing figure, his suit tailored to perfection, and his demeanor exuded a sense of authority. Jamie followed him into the middle G-Wagon’s plush interior, his mind still processing everything that had happened.
As the car drove through the streets, Tom filled Jamie in on the details. "Your grandfather is watching over you," Tom said. "And he will not allow you to suffer the way you have in the past. Everything has been arranged. You have security, wealth, and influence beyond your wildest dreams. But the most important thing is... you are never alone in this anymore."
Jamie nodded, his thoughts still swirling. This was a new chapter in his life, one he hadn’t been prepared for, but he was determined to take control of it.
Soon, they arrived at the Clayton Skyline Hotel—a luxury 12-star property that looked more like a palace than a hotel. The penthouse suite, which Jamie was told was now his, was worth over $2 million a night and $79.9 million to own.. It was nothing short of extraordinary. Tom led Jamie inside, showing him every detail of his new home. There was a private helipad, a massive swimming pool, and a collection of cars that would make any billionaire jealous.
“This is yours, Young Master,” Tom said, gesturing to the entire penthouse. “Everything in it is yours. And when you’re ready, we can fly you to the Lady Goodwin yacht for Sonia’s birthday party. You are the special guest.”
Tom passed him a velvet box. Jamie cracked it open—an invite to Sonia Goodwin’s yacht party on the Lady Goodwin. “A high-ranking Ashford subordinate was the special guest,” Tom explained. “The Goodwins and Crooks were so thrilled when we honoured the invitation. Now you’re taking his place as the special guest.”
Jamie smiled. For the first time in years, he felt like he was finally in control. He had been brought here for a reason, and he wasn’t going to waste it.
Jamie’s smile widened. “And after?”
“Your granfather has ordered us to fly you to one of your late father’s private islands in the Maldives. You’ll meet there—officially, and get proper answers to all your questions.”
Jamie leaned back, the leather cradling him. A private island—his father’s—while he and his mother had scraped by in squalor. If only she’d told him. Soon, Raymond would explain it all.
Before he could say anything further, his phone rang. It was from the hospital. St. Mary’s General—the one he now owned. He answered, and a crisp voice greeted him, the new head doctor. “Sir, per your instructions about your stepfather’s checkups, Ben Reynold’s here today. Routine visit.”
Jamie’s lips curled. Ben’s biweekly ritual at St. Mary’s—treatment for a creeping illness he couldn’t skip. If he misses a week, and his odds of dying spiked over 60%, a clock he never dared test. Jamie knew it well, he had seen the man’s diligence and commitment to this routine at St. Mary’s. But after the cruelty, the party, the corpse—Ben deserved to squirm.
“Keep him there,” Jamie said, voice cold. “No treatment till I say. Stall him.” Jamie was yet to decide what punish Ben deserved for all he did to him and his now-late mother.
“Yes, sir,” the doctor replied, and the line went dead.
Jamie tapped the phone against his chin, plotting Ben’s punishment—something slow, fitting. Just then, another call cut through—Ray Fenix. “Momentuum’s shut down, boss. And we have Mick with us, bound to a chair. Waiting for your instruction, boss.”
“Good,” Jamie said. “I’ll come when I’m ready. Just keep him there.” He hung up.
Jamie smiled. Things were moving faster than he had expected. Now, it was time to take back everything that was rightfully his—and more.
For now, he had a party to attend, he couldn’t wait to see the faces of his nemeses when they see him land on that yacht in a private helicopter. Hahaha!

Chapter 570
“Stacy, when I met with Nathan and Jonathan, they were with a group of thugs who were later revealed to be a part of a secretive society that the AS99 Organization has long marked as a great threat.”Stacy's eyes furrowed slightly. “What do you mean, Jamie?”Jamie told her what had happened throughout his encounter with Jonathan and Nathan, exceptionally excluding the parts that would reveal his own identity. The story Jamie fed Stacy was definitely redacted: he left out the part where he had fought the superpowered Jonathan and the animal-controlling Nathan with his own powers.Instead, Jamie gave Stella and the Bridge Crow the entire credit. After all, Stacy was well aware that these soldiers weren't ordinary, having been given to him by the Ashford subordinate backing him up.The parts where he fought Inland Taipans, as well as incredibly poisonous bugs that fire around him were left out. The part where Stella and the Bridge Crow activated their full nanotech armors, pretending no
Chapter 569
In the end, Nathan and Jonathan left with Tyson.Minutes later, they were halfway down the mountain when Nathan spoke to Tyson sitting across from him in the SUV. “We can't go back. The AS99 Organization definitely knows about us now.”Tyson smirked at him with interest. “What do you think? You revealed your powers in their presence. There's irrefutable proof of what you both are. It's only natural that they know now.”Jonathan shook his head. “Doesn't that mean that….we can't go back home?”He jerked up as the realization struck him, ignoring the armed bodyguards of the Crook family who visibly tensed at the sudden movement of this terrifyingly powerful half-human.“Dad! Nate, what about that?! That orphan bastard, he trashed the place! What if Dad is still injured?!”Tyson chuckled with a casual wave of his hand. “Don't worry about your Dad, Jonathan. He's been evacuated before law enforcement could reach your residence. He's been hidden in a safe place, where he's being treated.”
Chapter 568
Soon, a convoy of SUVs with four-wheel drives showed up to pick them all up.Tyson gestured at the convoy while smiling at the Reynolds brothers. “Come with me, I'll get both of you out of here.”Nathan was hesitant about this. Even though there was logic to Tyson now treating them with a different degree of hospitality, it was weird.Even for an impulsive young man like Jonathan, he felt hesitant without his older brother having to stop him. He didn't fully trust Tyson as well.Tyson raised an eyebrow, his smirk growing slightly wider. “What is this? Don't tell me you guys are now cautious of me?”Nathan didn't directly confirm those words. “It is easy to be fooled by this sense of camaraderie now that we know that we are more alike than before. Still, there are two of us against all of you.”Jonathan nudged his chin towards Jenna Harlow with concealed lust brimming out of him every time he merely glanced her way. “You have a dark entity with this much power. Plus, you came with man
Chapter 567
The memories of the failed hostile takeover of Carson Biotech still left a bitterness in Nathan's heart. “Can we not talk about that right now, Sir Tyson?”He allowed a moment of silence to pass. “How long have you known?”Tyson shrugged his shoulders. “As much as I hate to admit it, I didn't even suspect you two until recently. In fact, I wouldn't necessarily accept all the credit for discovering what you two are if I'm being fair.”At that moment, the Higher Sacral Succubus dropped onto the forest ground as well, a couple of feet away before steady footsteps could be heard getting close.Out of the darkness appeared the familiarly gorgeous face of Jenna Harlow. “Lord Tyson had figured it out during one of our latest meetings, reflecting on the losses we incurred from working so closely with the likes of you two and your father for the first time ever.”Jonathan gawked at Jenna Harlow, suppressing his lust. “You’re Manager Jenna Harlow, right?! What are you doing here in this dark f
Chapter 566
Jamie moved away from the area with General Stella walking right beside him. The lieutenants were handling the transportation of their soldiers back to the base - the underground Clayton Skyline Hotel building - for proper treatment. The duo got back into the luxurious car and drove back home. Jamie tapped his armrest. “Based on Tyson's personality, he should have decided to cut off ties with the Reynold family after the humiliating defeat his family suffered because of the merger's failed attempt at their first-ever acquisition.”“But with this discovery ….if this is really the way we've deduced, then the partnership between the Reynold family and the Crooks family is only going to get stronger.”The Crooks family has raised a Higher Sacral Succubus as well as a coven of those Sacral Succubi. The Reynold family has two young men with the genes of S-Rank dark entities. Jamie figured that if these two are just learning about each other, then they most likely belong to different secre
Chapter 565
The aura was also familiar. One of the lieutenants quickly called out. “What the hell?! It's her?!”They all recognized the large feminine creature with huge wings suddenly appearing high above the sky, where they could all see it. It had been there for a while and had simply disguised itself until now.“It's a Higher Sacral Succubus, right?! Boss, isn't that the same Higher Sacral Succubus the general fought on the roof of the campus?!”“It's the same one! Look at her wings! One is not fully back to its full length. The general had burned away that side! It's her!” This was why Jamie was stunned with a brooding anger as he stood above the ground where the large knives were made of the thickest and sharpest feathers he's ever seen. Till today, Jamie had never come face to face with the Higher Sacral Succubus, not on the battlefield specifically. The first time, he had only gotten to watch the intense battle between that Higher Sacral Succubus and General Stella only through the s
