Ray motioned for his men, and they moved swiftly, stepping out and clearing everyone outside the store with military precision. The manager, Ms. Tricia, returned, her face pale with fear. She trembled as she approached Jamie, but there was no longer any hint of defiance in her gaze—just an overwhelming dread.

"Please, Mr. Jamie," she begged, her voice shaking. "Let me settle this with you. You can pay for what you took... and I am sorry for my misconduct earlier and those of the girls."

Jamie didn't even blink as he swiped his card, clearing the five million-dollar bill without hesitation. Ms. Tricia stared at the receipt in disbelief, but there was nothing she could do. Her hands trembled as she handed Jamie his purchases, and with a nod, he turned and walked out of the store. Questions filled her head to ask but she wouldn’t dare, Ray Fenix was very clear with his instructions, the consequences of disobedience would be dire.

He lingered at the plaza’s gate, the sun glinting off his haul, waiting for a taxi. Then came the rumble—three black G-Wagons, sleek and menacing, screeched to a halt before him. Doors flew open, and ten men spilled out, clad in tailored suits and earpieces.

Their leader, a lean figure with a hawkish face, dropped to one knee, the rest following. "Young Master," he intoned, voice steady. "We’ve been sent by your grandfather to escort you."

Jamie was momentarily stunned. "My grandfather?" he asked, the words barely escaping his lips.

“Yes, Young Master. We are here to serve you. You will no longer need to worry about anything.”

Jamie eyed the cars—$2 million each, customized with military-grade armor and tech, pocket change to the fleet Raymond had promised. A grin tugged at him—his life was a campus fable now, rags to riches in a heartbeat.

“I’m Tom Yates,” the man said, handing over a sleek tablet. “Your PA and head of security—a squad of nine special elite forces under me.”

Tom was a tall, imposing figure, his suit tailored to perfection, and his demeanor exuded a sense of authority. Jamie followed him into the middle G-Wagon’s plush interior, his mind still processing everything that had happened.

As the car drove through the streets, Tom filled Jamie in on the details. "Your grandfather is watching over you," Tom said. "And he will not allow you to suffer the way you have in the past. Everything has been arranged. You have security, wealth, and influence beyond your wildest dreams. But the most important thing is... you are never alone in this anymore."

Jamie nodded, his thoughts still swirling. This was a new chapter in his life, one he hadn’t been prepared for, but he was determined to take control of it.

Soon, they arrived at the Clayton Skyline Hotel—a luxury 12-star property that looked more like a palace than a hotel. The penthouse suite, which Jamie was told was now his, was worth over $2 million a night and $79.9 million to own.. It was nothing short of extraordinary. Tom led Jamie inside, showing him every detail of his new home. There was a private helipad, a massive swimming pool, and a collection of cars that would make any billionaire jealous.

“This is yours, Young Master,” Tom said, gesturing to the entire penthouse. “Everything in it is yours. And when you’re ready, we can fly you to the Lady Goodwin yacht for Sonia’s birthday party. You are the special guest.”

Tom passed him a velvet box. Jamie cracked it open—an invite to Sonia Goodwin’s yacht party on the Lady Goodwin. “A high-ranking Ashford subordinate was the special guest,” Tom explained. “The Goodwins and Crooks were so thrilled when we honoured the invitation. Now you’re taking his place as the special guest.”

Jamie smiled. For the first time in years, he felt like he was finally in control. He had been brought here for a reason, and he wasn’t going to waste it.

Jamie’s smile widened. “And after?”

“Your granfather has ordered us to fly you to one of your late father’s private islands in the Maldives. You’ll meet there—officially, and get proper answers to all your questions.”

Jamie leaned back, the leather cradling him. A private island—his father’s—while he and his mother had scraped by in squalor. If only she’d told him. Soon, Raymond would explain it all.

Before he could say anything further, his phone rang. It was from the hospital. St. Mary’s General—the one he now owned. He answered, and a crisp voice greeted him, the new head doctor. “Sir, per your instructions about your stepfather’s checkups, Ben Reynold’s here today. Routine visit.”

Jamie’s lips curled. Ben’s biweekly ritual at St. Mary’s—treatment for a creeping illness he couldn’t skip. If he misses a week, and his odds of dying spiked over 60%, a clock he never dared test. Jamie knew it well, he had seen the man’s diligence and commitment to this routine at St. Mary’s. But after the cruelty, the party, the corpse—Ben deserved to squirm.

“Keep him there,” Jamie said, voice cold. “No treatment till I say. Stall him.” Jamie was yet to decide what punish Ben deserved for all he did to him and his now-late mother.

“Yes, sir,” the doctor replied, and the line went dead.

Jamie tapped the phone against his chin, plotting Ben’s punishment—something slow, fitting. Just then, another call cut through—Ray Fenix. “Momentuum’s shut down, boss. And we have Mick with us, bound to a chair. Waiting for your instruction, boss.”

“Good,” Jamie said. “I’ll come when I’m ready. Just keep him there.” He hung up.

Jamie smiled. Things were moving faster than he had expected. Now, it was time to take back everything that was rightfully his—and more.

For now, he had a party to attend, he couldn’t wait to see the faces of his nemeses when they see him land on that yacht in a private helicopter. Hahaha!

  • Chapter 278

Amanda was left in shock at her predicament. She could only whisper her response. “They….turned into black banded owls and flew away.”While most of the people in the crowd couldn't hear what Amanda had said clearly, the forensic guy, as well as the guys who came here with Arlene Gilliard, heard her words. One of the few women who came with Arlene Gilliard got up to whisper in the forensic scientist’s ear. “Black Banded Owls? Wait, isn't that the animal that a Sacral Succubus turns into?”They now had a serious expression on their faces. The forensic scientist suddenly turned to everyone else in the crowd and clapped his hands, yet making sure he got their attention over the murmuring murmur of gossip amongst them. “That's it, everyone! I'mma need you all to evacuate this reserved room completely. I'm talking to all employees tonight! Get out!”Everyone hears these words. They were momentarily confused but quickly chalked it up to these people trying to protect the last shred of dign

  • Chapter 277

The bearded forensic scientist had texted the security unit designated to the Diamond-tier section of Momentuum Nightclub, requesting CCTV footage of the main area where the party had been going on.And it didn't take long for this man to raise his eyes back up from his phone at Amanda. “You conniving woman, what is your purpose with drugging a first-time customer?!”The crowd gasped at this statement which basically confirms that Amanda was truly what happened to Arlene Gilliard. She had truly drugged him.“Oh my goodness! She actually did it.”“Damn! She really has a lot of guts for an employee! What would make her do that?!”“She's probably a huge fan of Miss Arlene, the obsessive, lustful kid, who is willing to do the craziest things just to sleep with her.”“Nah! I'm more convinced that she's a hater who was planning to humiliate her through rape! I mean….look at the situation! She drugged the VVIP customer of this nightclub, so he would rape Miss Arlene. I think this proves tha

  • Chapter 276

The bearded man glanced at Arlene once again before walking over to check on Jamie. He immediately noticed that the guy wasn't standing on his legs properly. He was mostly held up by the two men grabbing each arm. After a close-up inspection, his initial thought of Jamie being drunk was turned down as he looked down to see the hard-on the guy had hidden beneath his trousers. He groaned, running a hand down his face in frustration before turning to the crowd. “I'm afraid this situation isn't simple, everyone. We may have to call the manager….or the police.”The group erupted in murmurs once again, wondering what was going on. It was the same guy holding one of Jamie's arms who voiced out the crowd's question once again. “Why are we involving the Police? What's really going on?”The bearded man pointed at Jamie. “It seems that Arlene is not the only one drugged tonight. This poor guy has been fed an aphrodisiac. Clearly, someone orchestrated this entire incident. The real culprit wante

The door suddenly swung open, and those few who had come to have a good time with Arlene Gilliard, as well as the waiters, waitresses, and strippers in the reserved room, were all craning their necks through the doorway to see what was going on inside. There, Amanda was left too stunned to speak. She had been caught, in her disguise, while a super-horny Benjamin had begun making his move on Arlene Gilliard under the effect of the aphrodisiac.Amanda shook her head, still reeling from the realization that two of her sorority girls had turned out to be monsters from the dark realm that everyone on this planet feared above all else. She couldn't let things get like this, and she had a way out of it. “Hey, I'm innocent.”The bearded middle-aged guy in front of the friend, with his phone out to record everything, was momentarily confused until he looked up and his eyes widened in shock. “Holy shit, my girl, Arlene, is really getting it on with someone!”The crowd gasped before a loud chee

  • Chapter 274

Neither Felicia nor Dora had intended to expose themselves at a time like this. But the decision was sudden. After the question from an injured Amanda, the two made the decision on a whim to no longer hide, at least, not to her. They suddenly burst out in laughter.“That's right! We aren't actually humans! What about it?!”“It sure took you dumb bitch long enough to finally figure it out!”Seeing that the only person who could potentially cause them not so much of a problem, Jamie - since they still believe he's just at the two-star level of evolution - was completely overtaken by the strong aphrodisiac they drugged him with, Felicia and Dora have nothing to fear at the moment. Thus, the two began chuckling as thick smoke appeared around them out of nowhere, and by the time this swirling smoke lifted, it revealed to almost naked feminine figures with sharp fangs, claws, and dazzling eyes that created a heart-chilling effect in the dark.Amanda screamed at the top of her lungs as she

  • Chapter 273

Amanda got no answer from the delirious boy, too feverish right now for his brain to properly comprehend what was happening around him.Seeing Jamie's state, Amanda turned to Felicia and Dora with an impressed look. “Wow! You guys really got him good! The effect of the aphrodisiac was more surprisingly effective than I thought it would be.” She pointed at the tall young man on the bed. “I had assumed that because he was on HL-66 drugs, he wouldn't be too affected by the aphrodisiac this deeply. I guess I was wrong.”Felicia and Dora knew that Amanda wasn't wrong in her assumption though. That's why they had thrown the aphrodisiac the young woman gave them into the trash as soon as they separated, and instead opted to use a much more potent one that would instantly kill an ordinary human being. Only then could they have this effect, where Jamie is heavily dozing.Amanda glanced down at Jamie as he kept grinding while barely aware of his surroundings. He began taking off his clothes w
