It had been three days since Quin had the encounter with Malcolm Clifford, and even though he knew that the old man was stubborn, he was convinced that he must have learned his lessons.

While he drove through the lonely road that night after he had gone to pick up some herbs he had been in search of, he noticed something quite unusual that made him slow down a bit.

There were about five car following him, and even though the headlights were off, he could tell that the cars were after him.

Quickly, Quin drove into a narrow road, and just like he expected, the cars followed him at once. Then he saw that there were seven of them, and they had about three or four men in each of them.

“Interesting.” Quin chuckled, and then he continued driving through the road until he arrived at a large free space in front of a large mall.

Coincidentally, the mall had closed since it was almost midnight, and there was no one around at that moment to witness what was about to happen.

    The room became silent again, more silent than it had ever been while the tension began to grow, creeping deeper into the bodies of Clifford and his guests. One of the lady guests was so afraid of what could happen that she began to sob, and soon her cry was so loud that Quin was able to hear it.Then he turned and saw who was crying.“Aha!” He sniggered. “Miss Hilda Yules? I almost didn’t recognize you.” Quin shook his head while the lady lifted her face to look at him.She had managed to wipe some of the tears off her face, but there was no guarantee that she wasn’t going to cry again. “Those tears have no impact on me,” Quin grunted in annoyance, and then he took a few steps close to Hilda, an angry look plastered all over his face.“I know everything you have done, Hilda.     Three other men joined Adam, ready to take the key forcefully from him. There was still panic inside the room, especially from some of the ladies who just wanted to get out.“Relax, everyone! We are going to get the key from this lunatic!” Adam assured everyone.
