Chapter 08:Teasing

She had never felt humiliated in her life, yet this hooligan in her front continued to humiliate her at every given turn. She had to teach him a lesson.

"If you put all this energy somewhere else, it would have been good, and we would both benefit from it. You know what I mean!" Eric grinned looking at the woman.

"I'll kill you!" The woman yelled as she grabbed the gun on the table.

Alright, I didn't expect you to be that violent, but this shouldn't have escalated up to this case. There's still room for negotiation, you know." Eric smiled awkwardly looking at the woman who was pointing a gun at him.

"I don't care, you have to die today!" The woman yelled.

"You know you'll be killing your husband if you shoot me. At least, you should think about the future. You'll be single for the rest of your life if you do kill me." Eric Shrugged.

"I'm probably the only one who wants you." Eric shrugged.

"Shut up!" The woman yelled as she tried to pull the trigger.

But then she froze as she realized at some point, the gun had left her hands and was now with Eric who looked at the gun with a smile on his face as he said slowly.

"Browning Hi-Power, with a weight of 1kg, a cartridge of 9 × 19mm Parabellum .40 S&W, a barrel length of 119 mm, and also semi-automatic. Besides it's fully loaded as I can see it weighs about 1.1kg."

The woman froze as she looked at Eric in shock. Who the hell was he? How was he able to identify the gun, say its modification so precisely?

"Well." Eric continued and in a flash dismantled the gun and then placed the parts on the table.

"So where did we stop being beautiful?" Eric grinned, turning around to look at the woman.

"Who are you?" The female police officer frowned as she looked at Eric wearily.

"I'm your future husband, aren't you supposed to jump straight into my arms?" Eric raised his brows as he replied with a smug expression.

"How dare you!" The female police officer directly flew into a rage hearing Eric's reply and rushed towards him.

But this time, Eric was not nice enough to evade the punch, rather he caught her hands and pulled her closer to himself.

"You know you shouldn't try to fight your husband. Besides, I told you I acted in self-defense, yet you don't want to agree with me, what am I to do to make you believe." Eric whispered into the woman's ear.

At that moment, the beautiful police officer's breathing became irregular, this was her first time coming this close to a man.

"Leave me alone!" She yelled as she tried to struggle.

"Nope, until you promise not to attack me again." Eric shook his head and increased the grip he had around her chest, his arms directly touching her huge twin peaks.

"You hooligan, leave me alone!" The woman yelled as she tried to struggle against Eric's grip, but it was useless, Eric was far stronger than her.

"Chief I..."

Suddenly the door opened and a male police officer came in, but then he froze amidst his words seeing the strange position Eric and Evelyn were in.

Wasn't she supposed to be teaching him some lessons, why had the situation developed so quickly? Seemed like he had come at the wrong time.

"I'll come back later," The police officer said as he tried to hurry away.

"No, don't come back, say what you have to say." Evelyn's cold voice came just as the officer was about to leave.

"Chief, we've tracked down the base of those drug traffickers." The officer said as he turned around.

At this moment, Eric had already released Evelyn and she had straightened her clothes.

"Gather the squad immediately, we are going for a raid." She commanded.

"Yes, Chief." The officer nodded and walked out of the interrogation room.

"So am I allowed to leave?" Eric squinted his brows looking at Evelyn.

"Go with us to the raid, your performance will determine if I'll let you go or not," Evelyn said as she turned to look at Eric.

Eric's mouth twitched violently as he looked at Evelyn. He was not a police officer, nor did he have any qualifications to go along with them.

"But I'm not a police officer, neither am I a special force, so why do you think I'll be able to help?" Eric raised his brows as he couldn't help but ask.

"Well, I don't care about all that. All I know is that if you want me to let you go, then follow us there. If you perform according to my expectations, I'll let you go. Otherwise, if you die, I'll have nothing to do with it!" Evelyn sneered as she walked out of the interrogation room even before Eric could answer.

Eric couldn't help but sigh and shake his head. He sighed and looked open his stats to check how many points he had acquired altogether.

His point rose to three thousand once again which made him smile. Seems like Evelyn hated him to the bones.

Glancing at the mission panel, Eric noticed that it was still not completed. Looking closely again, he saw a percentage bar loading, and it was at sixty percent.

"System, why is it showing only sixty percent completion?" Eric couldn't help but furrow his brows and ask.

"That's because the host has not yet completed the mission."

"But I have court death." Eric furrowed his brows as he couldn't understand.

"Host, please don't ask silly questions if you don't want to be roasted. You'd better improve your skills and pick up more girls before you become more useless than you already are."

Fuck!

The System's harsh reply came and Eric couldn't help but curse angrily.

His system didn't deserve to be called The Royal Harem System, instead, it was supposed to be called, the legendary Diss System as it would diss him at any given chance.

Maybe he was going to talk with the system later in the future so that it would change its name from The Royal Harem System to The Legendary Diss System.

Eric sighed and walked out of the interrogation room. Just as he walked out, he was met with the policemen who were already getting into the vans each with a serious expression on their faces.
