So there they stood, before hungry undying beasts, ready to engage and enter the fray. Then Mina asked "What exactly is the plan?" and there was a momentary pause
"We...don't exactly have a plan" Susan answered
"The divinity of these creatures wasn't something I was aware of until today"
"If it is true that they are immortal, we could only take on a handful of them, but these guys are too much in number for us to handle"
"I suggest we run"
"That won't be necessary" Yen said out loud
"I already know what we should do" he said
"What is it?" everyone asked
"Well, it's quite simple" Yen answered
"We will keep the beasts busy, while our dear Susan figures out a way to capture them"
"But that would take a long time" Susan said, and Yen turned back and looked her in the eye then said "YOU HAVE TIME" before running off into midst of the beasts.
"I have time" Susan muttered repeatedly
"I have time..."
"I have time..."
"I have time..."
"I have......"
Then the realization suddenly struck her.
"Lee" she called out, and Lee answered
"Activate my limiter" she said, then Lee brought out a small round device that was the size of his thumb and pressed it on her neck. After that, Susan slowly took a deep breath and vanished out of sight.
"I better get busy too" Lee said to himself as he summoned two steel swords into his hands and followed Yen's path. The others followed him while Mina stood back to observe.
The immortality of the beasts was quite different from normal. They could be killed but after some time, they would reappear with full strength. When wounded, the damaged area doesn't bleed but instead releases pure energy in a vapour-like form. The interval between the death and return of the beasts varied but since the beasts always came back, killing them was a waste of energy.
As the battle continued Mina made a few observations. The first observation was that none of the beasts had attacked her. She didn't jump in to fight but she was in the battlefield so it would make more sense for a few to have come after her (not that she wanted them to) but not one came. She deduced that it was a matter of energy level after observing that most of them ran at Yen while the least of them ran towards Rosewell and Fubuki who had the least energy level among the men.
Her second observation was most of the beasts were wolves. This information didn't have much effect on the flow of the battle but it was surprising how they numerically dominated field.
Another of her observation was that the beasts which they had made a pact with showed eagerness to fight but couldn't move. She could clearly understand the look in their eyes and their growls were loud and clear, but their contractors gave them no instructions so they just stood and watched.
As the battle progressed, Mina noticed something. Despite Yen being the one that was attacked the most, he was the only one that was yet to kill any of the beasts. but was not the part that caught Mina's attention. After a long while of looking in Yen's direction, Mina noticed a dark aura escaping into the atmosphere and then a few of the beasts came to her but with no hostility.
As Mina sat among the beasts, petting and feeling the softness of their fur, Susan appeared in front of her saying "I've found a way"
"What?" Mina replied
"I've found a way to solve our beast problem"
"Oh, so what is it?"
"It's quite simple you se...."
"Stop telling me how simple it is. Tell what it is first!!"
"Oh..ok. it's different dimension"
"What do you mean?"
"I managed to create two different dimensions. One has a high similarity to the divine realm so only the pure beasts can get into it. The other one is just like the world we are in so it can contain the corrupted beasts and many more.
Mina was shocked, dumbfounded, and had a very hard time processing what she had just heard.
"What?!!" she exclaimed
"What the f**k"
"Let me get this straight. You didn't travel to two different dimensions, you CREATED them...."
"... created them"
"What are you? Some kind of god"
Susan simply answered "No, I'm not a god" and ran into the battle. As soon as she entered, the number of beasts reduced drastically and soon there was none left to fight.
Only the pure divine beasts remained and all that was left was to bring them back home, but they didn't even cover a noticable distance when a thundering voice said "stop" and everyone immediately halted their movement.
"Is it just me or did that voice come from the cloud above us" Mina whispered and everyone looked up to see the cloud. As soon as they all laid eyes on the cloud, it cracked open and a blinding light came from within it.
Everyone one that saw the light fell and lost consciousness. Every human, every animal, every insect. All that saw the light fell asleep, all except Yen and Mina.
Mina would probably have been able to guess what was going but Yen immediately knew.
"Please father" he said
"Please"
"I know you are here to call me back"
"But please, I want to stay here a little longer"
"And what reason do you have to stay? The voice asked, and Yen immediately looked at Mina and and answered "she is the reason"
There was silence and the voice didn't reply for a while. Then it came and asked to Mina "young lady, do you reciprocate my son's love for you?"
Mina immediately answered "yes"
"Then prove it"
"What?"
"Swear your life to him right now"
"Are you asking me to marry him"
"Duhh"
And that was how Mina and Yen got married. They told the others what happened on their way home and no one could stop laughing.
Yen's father didn't come to take him home but he came with a very important message. Yen had only twenty-five years left on earth, and after that he will be undoubtedly be given a seat in the midst of his ancestors (a cool way of saying that he would die). But if there was anyone that could make the most out of a short life, it was Yen the son of grace.

When the ice queen laughs
"well, Mr Addison" Ellie said as the camera faced Orie. "What are your thoughts on the current state of the match?" "I'm really not sure" Orie replied "To be honest, this is the first time I've seen Her like that so I don't actually know what to expect" "But if I had to take a guess..." "... I'd say I'm glad she wasn't like this in our match" Natsumi missed her first strike, and her second, and her third, and her fourth, and... all her strikes, she missed all of it. As it turns out, Kurobe had quite the reflex and was really good at evasion and keeping the distance. Every time Natsumi got close, he quickly evaded and put distance between them, pushing her back, attacking from blind spots, setting walls between them and a Whole lot of moves that prevented him from getting hit but that didn't stop his opponent from trying. With each passing second, Natsumi got closer to landing a hit on Kurobe. At first it was him feeling the little breeze as her fist fle
Cold hard truth
Many things can anger a fighter. An opponent that toys with them, someone that just won't stay down and in many cases, a direct insult. But none of those things were happening to Kurobe, he was facing something far more annoying; an opponent that isn't paying attention to him. At first glance, it looked like Kurobe was dominating the match without giving his opponent any chance to counter, but there were many times since the beginning of the fight where Natsumi would have been able to strike back but did nothing instead. She had barely moved from where she was standing at the start and she was in deep thought. All Natsumi did from the beginning of the match was to fend off the incoming attacks while thinking about what Orie had said to her. "I have finally seen your true self" "I finally know you" She couldn't muster up the courage to ask him what he meant because she was too afraid of his answer. She was afraid of the truth. "If the real me is a monster...

Tears of a beautiful summer
Orie was finally on the offensive. His wind blasts weren't doing much damage but they were strong enough to throw his opponent off balance and disorganize her attacks. He was able to close the distance bit by bit with each successful blast and every one of them hit. Before Natsumi could tell what was going on, Orie was standing directly under her. "White" orie said with a smile as he looked at her from below, then he spun his staff and struck the floor with it. Natsumi immediately turned to guard against it but no wind came from Orie's direction, it came from above and pushed her down. As Natsumi struggled to stand up, Orie began walking towards her and spoke. "I wondered why my prayers weren't working on you" "It would stop you for a brief moment then she'd take care of the rest by will power" "After this encounter, I think I finally figured it out" "The reason why my prayers don't work and who you are" "You are Natsumi" "You are not a spirit tha
