He stood unready

With his knees weak

His arms were heavy

There was blood all over

his clothes already

But he still had the energy

to throw a punch

a barrage of them

maybe just a bunch

but something wasn't right

it was just a hunch

He could evade properly

In a weak state,

but when he was strong,

his reflexes came a bit late

There was no logical answer

for him to intake

and the more he thought of it

the more he couldn't think straight

Well leave that aside

and throw a bolt

of lightning

about a thousand volts

to your opponent

and give him a jolt,

and make him hop around

like a little colt

that's how things were

supposed to have gone

but Shiro tried

and couldn't get it done

the armored man threw it back,

and it dawned

on Shiro that

a real fight was on.

Very soon after

there was no sign

of laughter,

just the sound

of clash and clatter,

and a one sided fight

was the matter

but Shiro wasn't waiting

to receive batter

so he dodged to the side

and did a counter

It was a good one

EXCEPT,

what happened next

he didn't expect

his counter was blocked

and it was all reset

to where his opponent's attack

was set

to hit his chest

a second time yet

Shiro thought of the punch

that had him done

it felt like a thousand

though it was one

his ability to move

was already gone,

he tried to gather strength

but there was none

He tried to speak

but uttered no word

it was then that

the armored man drew his sword

It could be seen that the battle was over, and that Shiro had lost. He couldn't move any part of his body, he just laid there as the armored man walked slowly towards him, dragging his sword on the ground.

Shiro laid there listening to the clanking sounds the sword made as it dragged along the floor.

"Ah..." "ah..." "ah..." "ah" he constantly uttered, as if he was trying to say something, but it was already too late. Shiro watched as the sword came down on him; straight to his heart and twisting more than once.

His entire body had run cold, he could no longer feel his heartbeat (of course he couldn't feel it, anyone who feels a beat after all that twisting should be scared of himself ) and his vision was getting hazy.

"So this is death" Shiro thought not minding what was going on.

Before everything turned completely dark, Shiro heard a loud voice yell "Aka'nchawa" then he saw a bright light that illuminated his entire field of vision, and felt himself getting picked up. Shiro couldn't help but wish, that his saviour should have come earlier.

The mist was thick, it was cold and he could barely see what was in front of him. Icicles were coming at him from different angles and he could hardly evade any of them.He saw himself at a dead end. He could not see anything he could do that would cause him to win the match. He was tired, bleeding, aching a

  • Still standing

Of the expectations that the people had, no one expected that a majority of the spectators would be okay with the outcome of the fight. They were sure that what they saw was real, they were sure that what they saw was fair, they were sure that the contestants gave it their all and they were sure that the winner deserved his victory.Even those who didn't support him in the beginning were cheering for him with all their heart, even those who lost their bets because of him rejoiced at the sight. There were many good fighters in the tournament, many who at the wave of their hands would cause marvelous sights but of all the fights in the tournament, Orie had shown them most invigorating. The cheers went on for a while until people in the crowd began to notice that the referee was yet to formally declare a winner. • The bird and the beast

From within the circle came forth a huge bird of prey; a hawk. It appeard to be fully covered in silver. Just by looking at it, one could tell that its beak was harder than a rock and that its claws were as sharp as blades, even its wings didn't seem flying was all they could do. At this point in the battle where pride was being cast aside, the same thought ran through the minds of everyone watching. "NOW THE REAL FIGHT BEGINS" "Go" at this command from Chris, the bird threw itself at Orie with incredible speed. Orie evaded the bird without problem but what came next was quite challenging. After evading an attack from above he found himself facing one from below. Not many can escape such attacks from Chris. He would use the bird to make his opponents dodge in a certain manner, then he would go in for the real attack when their balance had been compromised. It was quite an effective move, but just not for Orie. "How is this possible?" Chris thought to himself as h

"This is my day" It stopped as soon as she realized what it meant. She remembered that when she thought it was Orie's birthday, he had told her these words. She remembered how he told her of the four market days of his tribe and that he shared his name with one of them. She remembered that he told her how the days affected his power, and this made her the least surprised person among the audience when Orie got back up on his feet. "WHAT... THE... F***!!!!?" Ellie screamed at the camera "How much blood does this guy have?" "He's lost so much yet he is still standing" "What kind of immortal dragon sh** is this" "This is not easy to believ
