as they all stood in a daze watching the missiles fly through the air, Yen thought to himself

"before my descent, I heard a name called out loudly. I believe it to be the name of my father, the one who made me and has been directing my path. I believe to be a name that is called in the time of need. and I believe it is the name I should call now"

and with all the power in his breath, he yelled "AMADIOHA!!!" and from the clear afternoon sky, lightning fell into his right hand which he had raised up and it was overflowing with energy. he swung the hand forward and a huge amount of lightning came out and formed a blanket above all of the villages, causing all the missiles to explode midair.

it was a sight to behold. everyone that saw it stood in awe, not just at the power but also at the beauty. it was truly magnificent.

after being amazed, Mina and the others made their way to the nearest village to try and warn them about the coming dangers and to also convince them to make their way to the fortress. it was not a simple task.

the people's dependency on the Order ran too deep. even when they were told that the order was trying to kill them, they still wanted to consult the order on what to do about it. it was as if they were programmed to do so.

the young men and children which were the only ones that seemed to be convincible were still under the indoctrination of the elders so Mina had to face the ones at the top. but all speech seemed to fall on deaf ears so the team walked out without completing their objective.

the attitude of the people was the same in all villages so Mina had no hope of even saving anyone.

"how do you save people that don't want to be saved?" she said in frustration. then she noticed a little girl at her feet. she squatted down and looked at the girl who was staring at her with fully dilated eyes and an open mouth with the occasional "woow" coming out of from it.

"what's your name, little girl?" Mina asked in curiosity

"Anna" the girl replied

"where's your mommy, Anna?" Mina asked again but the girl couldn't answer. she asked again but the girl replied with "what is a mommy?".

when Mina heard the girl's words, she immediately picked her up and and went to the next child she could find then asked the same question. she repeated it five times and it was clear that none of them knew what a mother was, not even the older children knew.

they did another investigation and found out that there were no mothers in the village, but they did find out something interesting though.

they ones that knew what a mother was defined it with a really disturbing piece information. mothers were selected, and those who were selected were taken to the capital city and only their children were brought back to be taken care of by the elders.

so just like Mina, the children there grew up without meeting their parents.

"I feel like eliminating the elders." Yen blurted out as he looked to Mina for approval.

  "ehh?" Mina responded in confusion

"It sounds like good idea but I don't think anyone would follow us if we kill a bunch of old men." she added

"I'm very sure it will be worse"

"what if they are not men?" Yen asked

"what do you mean?" Mina replied

"we can't kill women either" she added, and Yen replied.

"I mean.... what if they weren't human beings at all, is that okay?"

then it dawned on Mina. she finally understood what Yen was trying to say. the order was know to use androids in many of their operations. some of the prophets that Mina knew were androids so it wouldn't be a surprise if the elders were also androids. another thing that convinced Mina was the fact that Yen was always right about his instincts.

"why didn't you mention this earlier?!!" Mina asked with the highest pitch her voice could obtain and Yen was a bit hesitant to answer.

"I um..... I just didn't want to be reckless about it." he said

"and what makes you think it would have been handled recklessly?" Mina asked

"your attitude just now" Yen replied as he snapped his finger loudly, releasing a pulse wave that spread as far as the eye could see.

"what did he just do?" Inumaki asked and Yamato simply answered "EMP"

"so we're going back to that shack of a town hall" Mina said

"also, we have to do it quickly" she added

"because if what Yen said is true, then the order already knows we are here."

they made their way back and saw that the all the elders the were talking to had shut down.

"I'm never doubting you again." Mina said, looking at Yen.

"now let's move to the next stage of our plan" she said.

  "Who is good at propaganda?"

since he was the fastest, Yen was tasked with going to the other village and gathering all the androids. he was also given a set of transmitters to place in all the town halls.

the person that was deemed fit for the propaganda was Yamato. he was the youngest of boys but he proved to be the smartest and he also had a convincing aura.

after Yen was done with his task, Mina activated the transmitters in all the town halls and a holographic projection displayed Yamato who was ready to give his speech.

  "people of Nihon" he said

"It may be hard for you to believe what I am about to say but I have to say it...."

  "you have been deceived"

meanwhile the prophets of the order were having a round table meeting.

"what shall we do now?, lord Albus" one asked

"they have gone too far" another added

"they have neutralized our our elder units" another one said

"SILENCE!!!" Albus yelled from where he was seated and the room's atmosphere grew cold. as a high prophet, he was the only one in the room that wasn't hooded.

"we made a mistake in Africa." he said

  "we will not repeat it"

  "UNLEASH THE LEGION UPON THEM!!!"

"well, Mr Addison" Ellie said as the camera faced Orie. "What are your thoughts on the current state of the match?" "I'm really not sure" Orie replied "To be honest, this is the first time I've seen Her like that so I don't actually know what to expect" "But if I had to take a guess..." "... I'd say I'm glad she wasn't like this in our match" Natsumi missed her first strike, and her second, and her third, and her fourth, and... all her strikes, she missed all of it. As it turns out, Kurobe had quite the reflex and was really good at evasion and keeping the distance. Every time Natsumi got close, he quickly evaded and put distance between them, pushing her back, attacking from blind spots, setting walls between them and a Whole lot of moves that prevented him from getting hit but that didn't stop his opponent from trying. With each passing second, Natsumi got closer to landing a hit on Kurobe. At first it was him feeling the little breeze as her fist fle

  • Cold hard truth

Many things can anger a fighter. An opponent that toys with them, someone that just won't stay down and in many cases, a direct insult. But none of those things were happening to Kurobe, he was facing something far more annoying; an opponent that isn't paying attention to him. At first glance, it looked like Kurobe was dominating the match without giving his opponent any chance to counter, but there were many times since the beginning of the fight where Natsumi would have been able to strike back but did nothing instead. She had barely moved from where she was standing at the start and she was in deep thought. All Natsumi did from the beginning of the match was to fend off the incoming attacks while thinking about what Orie had said to her. "I have finally seen your true self" "I finally know you" She couldn't muster up the courage to ask him what he meant because she was too afraid of his answer. She was afraid of the truth. "If the real me is a monster...

  • Tears of a beautiful summer

Orie was finally on the offensive. His wind blasts weren't doing much damage but they were strong enough to throw his opponent off balance and disorganize her attacks. He was able to close the distance bit by bit with each successful blast and every one of them hit. Before Natsumi could tell what was going on, Orie was standing directly under her. "White" orie said with a smile as he looked at her from below, then he spun his staff and struck the floor with it. Natsumi immediately turned to guard against it but no wind came from Orie's direction, it came from above and pushed her down. As Natsumi struggled to stand up, Orie began walking towards her and spoke. "I wondered why my prayers weren't working on you" "It would stop you for a brief moment then she'd take care of the rest by will power" "After this encounter, I think I finally figured it out" "The reason why my prayers don't work and who you are" "You are Natsumi" "You are not a spirit tha
