"For a thousand years, I've waited"

"For a thousand years, I've held on and anticipated"

"For when this day shall come"

   "My plan is perfect"

"There is no chance for failure"

   "On this day"

"A Raiden shall fall" genji muttered as he looked down at Mia who was bound in chains before him.

"You know I can hear everything you're saying, right?" Mia asked as she gave him a cold stare.

There was nothing intimidating about his appearance, the sound of his voice was not one to strike fear in others. He looked like every other normal guy but his name was not one to be spoken in jest. 'Genji of the Order' was a name feared in the entire underground society.

   "Oh" Genji said in surprise

"I thought you were still sleeping" he added

"But it's not like you can do anything about it"

   "You're completely bound and weakened"

"You can't oppose me in your current state"

"How sure are you about that?" Mia asked

"Very sur..." Before Genji could completely answer, swords from nowhere fell on the chains and broke every one of them that held her.

"I am quite confident..." Mia said as she stood up.

"... that my current state is enough to oppose you"

Meanwhile, Shiro had grown bored of waiting. He had been awake for a while waiting for Genji to show up but nothing happened.

"What's taking him so long?" Shiro wondered

"What other thing is as important to him as ending me?" he asked himself

     "There is none" he answered

"Maybe he's trying something new" Shiro said

     "Oh...wait!!" He said in realization

"He is trying something new" he said slowly as he charged up the lightning in his hands and overloaded the chains.

"I was wondering why he didn't try to kill me in my sleep again" he said as he kicked down the door to the room he was held in. He was obstructed by a few guards but he was done with them almost in an instant, then he made his way out of the building.

As he went outside, he was met with more. And he just chuckled a little and and took a deep breath before jumping into action.

Victor had already escaped and was roaming the busy streets of a place he didn't recognize. He knew he was in Freeland but he didn't know exactly where he was; and everyone he tried to ask just ignored him and went on with their business.

"This is such a hassle" he said in a tired voice just before he fainted.

When Victor opened his eyes, he was inside of an ambulance with only one paramedic.

"Can I borrow your phone?" Victor asked

"I need to contact my friends" he added

The paramedic readily brought out his phone and handed it to Victor who was laying in front of him.

"Here you go" he said as he handed Victor the phone and watched him begin to operate it. After some time, he noticed something strange.

"Aren't you going to make a call?" he asked

"Or are you texting your friends?" he added

    "Not texting" Victor replied

"I'm tracking" he said as he stood up from the bed he was laying in and returned the phone saying "thanks" before vanishing from the sight of the paramedic who was left shocked.

Victor appeared in a different street from the one he was in but it wasn't where he wanted go. He had memorized the entire map of Freeland with the help of the paramedic's phone and also managed to track down where all the others were but it seemed he didn't have much energy to teleport to his desired destination.

"Well..." He said with a heavy sigh

"I guess I'll take bus then"

"well, Mr Addison" Ellie said as the camera faced Orie. "What are your thoughts on the current state of the match?" "I'm really not sure" Orie replied "To be honest, this is the first time I've seen Her like that so I don't actually know what to expect" "But if I had to take a guess..." "... I'd say I'm glad she wasn't like this in our match" Natsumi missed her first strike, and her second, and her third, and her fourth, and... all her strikes, she missed all of it. As it turns out, Kurobe had quite the reflex and was really good at evasion and keeping the distance. Every time Natsumi got close, he quickly evaded and put distance between them, pushing her back, attacking from blind spots, setting walls between them and a Whole lot of moves that prevented him from getting hit but that didn't stop his opponent from trying. With each passing second, Natsumi got closer to landing a hit on Kurobe. At first it was him feeling the little breeze as her fist fle

  • Cold hard truth

Many things can anger a fighter. An opponent that toys with them, someone that just won't stay down and in many cases, a direct insult. But none of those things were happening to Kurobe, he was facing something far more annoying; an opponent that isn't paying attention to him. At first glance, it looked like Kurobe was dominating the match without giving his opponent any chance to counter, but there were many times since the beginning of the fight where Natsumi would have been able to strike back but did nothing instead. She had barely moved from where she was standing at the start and she was in deep thought. All Natsumi did from the beginning of the match was to fend off the incoming attacks while thinking about what Orie had said to her. "I have finally seen your true self" "I finally know you" She couldn't muster up the courage to ask him what he meant because she was too afraid of his answer. She was afraid of the truth. "If the real me is a monster...

  • Tears of a beautiful summer

Orie was finally on the offensive. His wind blasts weren't doing much damage but they were strong enough to throw his opponent off balance and disorganize her attacks. He was able to close the distance bit by bit with each successful blast and every one of them hit. Before Natsumi could tell what was going on, Orie was standing directly under her. "White" orie said with a smile as he looked at her from below, then he spun his staff and struck the floor with it. Natsumi immediately turned to guard against it but no wind came from Orie's direction, it came from above and pushed her down. As Natsumi struggled to stand up, Orie began walking towards her and spoke. "I wondered why my prayers weren't working on you" "It would stop you for a brief moment then she'd take care of the rest by will power" "After this encounter, I think I finally figured it out" "The reason why my prayers don't work and who you are" "You are Natsumi" "You are not a spirit tha
