Volume 1. Chapter 15 A Mysterious Child

When they arrived home, Cini immediately apologized to Clara. Clara forgave Cini's actions because Vail told her before got home. If Cini or Rii is angry, it is normal, especially if it concerns their family.

The next day, Cini, Rii, and Vail returned to the castle...

"This time, what issue do you want to talk about?" King Ligt was so curious.

“Everything needed is gathered, we can start…Rii, Vail.” Cini asks Rii and Vail to open the dimensional circle.

Two black circles appeared, and from these circles emerged the demon king of each circle.

“Do they have anything to do with this conversation?” King Ligt was very curious.

“So, you is the one who became the new demon king.” The demon king Neii approaches King Ligt.

"You haven't been seen for several years, it turns out you've been arrested...Neii." Said the woman who helped the demon king Dorf.

“Especially Lina, I didn't expect you to be captured alive by them.” Neii was surprised, because among the demon kings. Lina has potential that is far above her.

“Just when this guy tried to end it…I was sucked into a mysterious circle.” Lina pointed at Rii and gave a situation where she would be killed by Rii's power.

"Then...what made you open it again and let me go?" Neii wanted to know their reasons.

Neii sat down to join in as if throwing away the problems he had created in the past, Lina only sat down when Vail offered her.

“Cini, Rii…can you lead the conversation?” Vail asked the two of them to lead the conversation and issues to be discussed.

“As you know, King Ligt has become one of the demon kings. Even so, King Ligt still has a conscience to reconcile this world." Cini opened the conversation by telling King Ligt's goal at the beginning.

“It's so cute to hear this chick's wishes.” Neii disagreed.

“Newbie, your goal is just wishful thinking…making all the races in this world live in harmony are something that only exists in storybooks.” Neii rejects the idea of coexistence.

"If I may ask, what is his purpose for the two of us?" Lina raised one of her hands, and asked a question to gain curiosity.

“You two will help King Ligt's goal achieve, in other words…make a group,” Rii told Lina.

Neii laughed at Rii's words.

"Okay, I accept it... that might audible interesting to me. Can this new kid bring the world as desired." Neii decided to accept it.

“What about you, demon king Lina?” Rii wanted to make sure.

“Unlike Neii who always does things for him own sake, I will accept it,” Lina informed of decision to join.

"Following every ancestor's wishes is boring, what's wrong with being selfish." Neii glared at Lina.

"Is it okay to involve both of them?" King Ligt wants to make sure his cause is not destroyed.

“If they dare do what they did before, we will kill Neii and Lina…” Vail said so calmly.

Neii looked at Vail and smiled, Lina also glanced at Vail but remained silent.

"And I will give punishment to the demon king Lina before Lina is killed... namely by marrying you."

"I mind if I have to marry him..." Lina rejected what Vail said.

"King, you okay?" Cini was worried about King Ligt's mood.

“Ahaha…I'm fine.” King Ligt informed. On the other hand, Ligt was also surprised and would reject what Vail said.

"Then do you mind marrying me?" Cini joked to make the situation less awkward.

"We will continue talking again..." Rii started the conversation again.

“I want to know, who is the master or ancestor you serve?” Rii wants to know the ancestors, and what kind of figure those ancestors were from Neii and Lina.

“I can't answer that besides…even though we are subordinates, none of us speak directly a Ancestor,” Lina informed.

“It can't be helped, then… skip about that ancestor.” Cini went through a discussion to find out the ancestors.

“Until we find out who the ancestor is, we will postpone this matter. Rii…do you want to add anything?” Cini offers Rii to add to the conversation.

“I no longer have words to give,” Rii said that his thinking was dead.

"May I ask?" Lina raised one hand again to ask a question.

“Our former masters, ancestors…fought all the races in this world. And the humans retaliate against the attacks of the ancestors, then what will this kingdom do?” Lina said curiously.

“I also want to know, indirectly…those stupid kings will attack this kingdom and so will the ancestors.” Neii had the same thoughts and curiosity as Lina.

“This kingdom will not take any action, nor will it be a neutral kingdom…if anyone attacks, we just need to attack back. And if they come in peace, we will open our arms.” Vail informed Lina and Neii.

"Why?" Lina was so curious.

“Indirectly, Vail tells us that peace will not come if we are only on the neutral side. Such idealism will only damage the future path.” Rii informed.

“We will fight to conquer kingdoms, or peoples who do not accept coexistence.” Cini clarified Vail and Rii's words.

"Let's end this conversation, thank you for listening to the end..." Rii closed the conversation.

Because the discussion was over, King Ligt handed him a paper folded with a small red cloth. The king said that it was the document that Vail requested last night.

When Vail tried to open it... he found a special royal badge or symbol and Vail's name engraved on the back.

“You can use that badge as concrete evidence.” King Ligt said that if something happened that was out of his control. Vail can show the badge as proof of King Ligt's approval.

“Thank you, king…I will keep it well.” Vail felt happy with King Ligt's help.

“Restaurant business?” Lina, who was sitting next to Vail, saw the contents of the writing.

"This is for Miss Julian, our adoptive mother... I offered her a restaurant business. When I get carried away by the cooking." Vail told Lina.

“I forgot to say since you have joined… starting today, you two will live in the palace.”

“HAA!”

King Ligt, Lina, and Neii were shocked by Rii's sudden words.

“Rii, Cini…can you two go home first? I'm curious about what Mother said this morning." Vail is worried about something.

“I don't mind.”

“Okay, I understand…we'll go home first.”

Cini and Rii teleported home because of Vail's anxiety over what Julian said to the three of them.

King Ligt summoned one of the soldiers who was guarding the door and asked the soldier to tell everyone in the palace about Neii and Lina who were part of the Gerna kingdom and palace.

In the afternoon...Vail was silent for a moment, he was surprised to see so many people gathered that they almost filled the front yard of the house.

Thinking everyone came because his adoptive mother was celebrating his shop.

“…..” Vail saw Clara giving drinks to two strangers.

Vail walked towards Clara to find out.

“Why are there so many people here?” Vail was so amazed.

“Vail, is the matter with the king finished?” Clara wanted to be sure.

"Even though not everything is resolved yet," Vail informed.

"I don't know what to say, but the point is, it's Zein's birthday," Clara told Vail.

“Can you help too? We're short of people here…” Clara asked Vail to help her.

Vail accepts that he was involved in Zein's birthday to help as Clara did.

For two years the three of them lived in the Gerna kingdom. Rii, Cini, and Vail decide to return to Norf City.

"Mom will miss you here." Julian is sad to find that he will be separated from her three adopted children.

“We will miss mom too.” Vail tried to keep Julian calm.

“Clara…this is for you.” Cini gave an object to Clara.

"Ring? But for what ." Clara was very curious and didn't understand what Cini meant by giving herself a ring.

“This ring is a magic attribute, Vail said that there is magic that protects the user. So I think it suits your careless self.” Cini told her about the ring.

"I? I?" Zein asked to be given a farewell gift.

"For Zein, brother will give a magic sword," Rii informed.

"Magic sword?" Zein was so curious.

Rii knelt to easily meet Zein's gaze. He clapped his hands once, then his right hand pulled something in his left hand.

"..." Zein be amazed, saw a very sharp sword come out of his older brother Rii's left hand.

“This is a magic sword, because it appeared from the void. Do you want it?" Rii offered.

"I want to!" Zein was so excited.

“Good…give one of your hands to Big Brother,” Rii asked Zein gave his hand.

Without delay, Rii put the sword into Zein's hand in the form of energy.

"Now try it," Rii asked Zein to do what he did.

"...." Zein tried to imitate what Rii did.

"Do not appear?" Zein was surprised.

"Zein, turn your hand towards big brother." Cini wants to try it.

Zein did as asked, Cini patted Zein's hand lightly. And a different sword appeared.

“Why is the sword different?” Zein was so confused.

“The desire to make it happen, is not from wanting to do it if Zein has the heart of a fighter. And the wish of a warrior, you will make your sword come true.” Cini told and gave the sword for Zein to hold.

"Wood?" Zein found that the sword turned into a wooden sword after he held it.

"Mother, Zein, then Clara...it's time for us to go back," Vail informed.

"Make sure you visit Mother, okay?" Julian asked her three adopted children to come back.

Julian and her two children waved goodbye to Rii, Cini, and Vail...After walking quite far, those who wanted to teleport couldn't use their powers.

“Barrier?” Cini was so shocked by the barrier, he had just realized.

“You won't be able to get out of the isolation field.” A small child appeared in front of them.

“Who are you?” Rii was surprised because it would be impossible for a small child to be in the forest.

“My identity is not that cheap… I want to congratulate the three of you.”

“Right now, I am sending thousands of my demon troops to attack the city of Norf and also the kingdom of Gerna.”

"What are you saying?!" Not only Rii, Cini, and Vail were surprised to hear the words of the small child.

"Damn! I can't use my magic…” Rii was so annoyed.

“Quickly cancel this barrier, brat!” Cini attacked the child.

“…..” The child jumped back and smiled slyly.

“You two, hold back your emotions... no matter how hard we fight, without magic. We are just ordinary people.” Vail reminded and calmed Rii and Cini.

"Rii?" Cini came to Rii who had fallen and was unconscious.

“What the—” Cini was unconscious.

Vail's vision became blurry and lost focus. The child came to him.

"There's no need to force yourself, it's better for you to fall asleep former, hero." The child cast a magic spell and put Vail to sleep.

“……” Vail fell and became unconscious.

"As agreed, I have done it."

"I hope you haven't forgotten the agreement."

The child glanced somewhere, before just disappearing.
