Volume 1. Chapter 7 Choice

“We can't send troops in large numbers, the last defense has already lost many fighters.” One of the kings among kings rejected this.

“I agree with king Mitlen.” He agreed with Mitlen's words.

“For me, this is a sacrifice that must be made….”

“Cluster King, what do you mean by sacrificing the Vorz kingdom's Territory?” one of the other kings was also curious.

“I'll say it openly, I don't like the king of the Vorz kingdom after his predecessor.” King Cluster hates king Ligt, because he is still so young and considered naïve.

"Aren't you the same ? King Aries, king Nollant, king Cortase, king Mand.” King Cluster tries to guess the dislike of all the kings in the Union.

“The competition for imperial positions, where everyone initially took sides and asked King Ligt to become emperor will be wiped out.” King Cluster showed his hands, and clenched them into fists as he said annihilation.

“If you mind, you can send troops from your kingdom. And I refuse to provide frontline troops to handle this.” King Clusters are very reluctant to provide assistance.

After Cluster expressed his reluctance to send troops to help, all the kings joined in not helping the Vorz region.

In the middle of the discussion, they heard laughter which shocked them.

"I never thought that the enemy we were fighting would actually betray each other." A figure appeared from behind the darkness.

"Devil's King!"

They panicked and were so afraid of the arrival of the demon king.

“No need to worry, I changed my view towards you guys. Let's make a deal…” the demon king offered a deal.

“What reward do we get?” King Aries, who is still afraid, tries to stay calm.

"The reward is that I don't kill you, is that enough?"

Hearing the words of the demon king made them very happy.

“What do you want for in this deal?” King Cluster confirmed that his life was the payment for the agreement.

King Cortase asked the soldier to tell King Ligt that help was coming, the soldier went and informed the Vorz kingdom via a red crystal ball.

"No, Mr. Manen, I'm just worried about all the possibilities that might happen." Nor said with sincere words.

King Ligt asking Manen and Nor not to fight in the palace, and in the end all the warriors were still given a certain amount of wine.

Two years later, news of a new kingdom was heard and it was called the Gerna kingdom. People and merchants who have been there, say that all races there live peacefully without discrimination.

The sound of the guild door bell was heard...

Sara, seeing Una's group return, made herself very happy.

“Long time no see, you two.” Sara approached Cindy and Una.

“Why are you here? We thought you and the heroes were on the front lines.” Cindy was so surprised.

"Where are Erick and Nita?" Una didn't see the two of them in the guild and only saw Sara and Mansa.

"Because we haven't seen each other for almost two years, it's natural that you don't know..." Sara had a sad face.

"Don't tell me they--"

"Erick is accompanying Nita to buy groceries." Elia comes and tells Una and Cindy not to misunderstand.

The sound of the guild door bell was heard, Rii, Vail, and Cini came to the guild to inform them that their mission had been completed.

Mansa walks up to them…

"I have something to say to you tonight, I hope you don't run away this time. Meet me in Laindorf.” After informing them, Mansa left and chose to leave and go to the inn to rest.

" Mr hero, where are you going?" Sara was so surprised.

"Go back to the inn to rest." Mansa left the guild after informing him.

“Sorry guys, see you later.”

"Wait hero!"

Sara chased Mansa who had already started walking.

“You guys and hero not getting along?” Cindy was very curious, as were Una and Elia.

"I also feel like the hero is looking at you with a disappointed look, have you ever disappointed the hero?" Elia was so worried.

"It's just your feelings, Cindy, Eli." Cini tries to tell them and doesn't want them to get involved.

The doorbell rang again.

“Hero, Sara I'm —”

"Eh... where are those two?" Nita, who had returned from shopping, did not see Sara and Mansa.

"Mr hero and Sara have returned to the inn," Elia told Nita.

"Where's big brother?"

Nita then decided to return to the inn, because she didn't want to leave her sister who was always bothering Mansa.

Cindy, and Una invite Nita, Sara, and Elia to their new house for some girl talk.

When night came, Rii, Cini and Vail met Mansa at the Laindorf river which was at the southern gate of the city of Norf.

"I didn't expect you guys to come..." Mansa saw the three of them come according to his request.

“What do you want to talk about?” Rii wanted to get straight to the heart of the problem.

"Do you know about the emergence of a new kingdom?" Mansa confirmed that this had reached the ears of the three of them.

"We've heard rumors of the Gerna kingdom from traders and people who have been there." Vail said that they had heard about this.

“What's wrong?” Cini was curious about what would be the problem.

“Two years ago, the Vorz kingdom not far from this city was overrun by demon troops.”

“Even though it's been a long time, why is this city still experiencing prosperity? And instead a new kingdom emerged, namely Gerna?" Mansa told them where the problem was.

"We just heard about the attack that occurred in the kingdom near this city." Rii told the truth, no one in Norf city knew either.

“I know you guys won't lie after this…”

“Therefore, I want you to join me in going to the Gerna kingdom. To find out what really happened." Mansa makes an offer to work together.
