Xiao Kwan, who was on top of Li Lan’s naked corpse, immediately turned his head. He, who got the last turn to violate the body of the beautiful forty-year-old woman, looked visibly irritated.

While his three companions had already finished satisfying their vile lusts, Xiao Kwan—who had just started—was suddenly interrupted. What enraged him even more was that the one interrupting him was the son of the very woman he was violating.

“Catch him! Let me finish this first,” he ordered the other three men.

“You beasts! I will kill all of you!” shouted Xiao Chen, burning with rage. His rationality had left him—he knew full well that he was no match for the four demonic warriors. But he thought it better to die than to see his mother’s corpse defiled.

The sword in the twenty-year-old’s hand was raised high, ready to strike the man on top of his mother’s body.

But he had barely taken three steps into the room when a powerful kick struck him hard, throwing him back and crashing into a cupboard that shattered into pieces. The sword slipped from his hand and landed near one of the members of the Four Demon Sickles.

“You stupid brat! Hold him down and force him to watch! Let him suffer while he sees his mother’s body defiled!” Xiao Kwan shouted.

Two of the men rushed to seize Xiao Chen, forcing him to kneel and face the bed.

“Look at this, boy! Even as a corpse, your mother’s body still feels incredible,” Xiao Kwan sneered with sick delight.

Xiao Chen tried to shut his eyes, refusing to witness the cursed act happening to his mother’s lifeless body. But a brutal kick to his ribs made him gasp in pain.

“Open your damn eyes!” Xiao Kwan barked as he continued thrusting into Li Lan’s corpse. “Force that bastard to watch!”

One of the Four Demon Sickles tried to force Xiao Chen’s eyes open. But the young man resisted, still refusing to look. Another savage kick landed on his side, followed by a punch to his head.

Despite the physical and emotional torment, Xiao Chen refused to cry out in pain. His parents had never raised him to be weak or to complain.

Infuriated by the boy’s resistance, one of the four finally pried open Xiao Chen’s eyelids. He was forced to watch, at close range, as Xiao Kwan violated his mother’s body.

Tears streamed down Xiao Chen’s face, unable to hold back the agony and fury boiling inside him. “You monsters! I swear I’ll take revenge for what you did to my parents!” he screamed.

But once again, a fist landed squarely on his body. This time, his face was the target—beaten by one of the men who had destroyed his family.

Satisfied after violating Li Lan’s body, Xiao Kwan pulled up his pants. He then grabbed Xiao Chen’s bloodied face and said coldly, “Tell us where your father hid the Sky Sovereign Manual. Speak, or we’ll torture you until you do.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, you beast in human form!” Xiao Chen spat in his face, refusing to show fear.

Fury surged through Xiao Kwan. Xiao Chen’s defiance sent him into a blind rage. He no longer cared to extract information from the boy.

Repeatedly, his brutal fists crashed into Xiao Chen’s face until the young man finally lost consciousness.

The other three didn’t bother stopping Xiao Kwan’s savagery. They only sighed in frustration—Xiao Chen had been their only lead to finding the Sky Sovereign Manual.

“Why did you knock him out? Have you forgotten that we still need him alive for information?” asked Yuan Fu, a tall, muscular man.

“There’s no point in questioning him, Yuan Fu. I’m sure he doesn’t know anything about the manual. Look at him—he hasn’t even learned the most basic martial arts. That means Xiao Yu hid everything about his true identity from this weakling,” Xiao Kwan said, glaring at the unconscious Xiao Chen, whose face was drenched in blood.

“Damn it! We’ve been hunting the two of them for almost twenty years. And what do we get? Just a dead woman to violate,” Yuan Fu said bitterly.

“Let’s go. We’re done here. Even though it doesn’t make up for the years we’ve wasted, at least I finally got to feel Li Lan’s body,” Xiao Kwan said while staring at the naked corpse.

Since seeing Xiao Yu’s wife twenty years ago, Xiao Kwan had been obsessed with tasting the voluptuous body of the famed beauty. Though the chance came only when she was a corpse, his twisted ambition had finally been fulfilled.

“If it weren’t for the other three, I wouldn’t tire of using your body all night,” he muttered to himself.

The Four Demon Sickles, notorious black-clad martial warriors, then left Xiao Yu’s house. They didn’t bother to check on Xiao Chen, certain he would bleed to death anyway.

---

The next morning, the villagers—who had hidden in fear the previous night after hearing the fierce battle between Xiao Yu and the four men wielding large sickles—gathered and rushed toward Xiao Yu’s home. They wanted to know what had happened that led to Xiao Yu being attacked by four men at once.

They were also curious about the true identity of Xiao Yu. All this time, he had lived so quietly—no one would have guessed he was a warrior. He always appeared gentle and would avoid conflict at all costs.

When they reached Xiao Yu’s home, the villagers were surprised to see the door still tightly shut. Unlike most homes in Qincheng village, which were usually wide open in the morning, this one remained sealed.

Sensing something was wrong, one of the men took the initiative to knock. He called out the names of the family members inside, but no one responded.

“Just open it. Maybe it’s not locked,” another villager suggested.

The man nodded and tried the handle—it was indeed unlocked.

The moment he opened the door, he was shocked to find the inside of the house looking like it had been hit by a tornado. Tables and chairs were overturned, and the cupboards and other furnishings lay in ruins.

His suspicion growing, the man stepped further inside. He checked the front bedroom—Xiao Chen’s usual sleeping quarters. It was the same—completely wrecked.

He decided to check the next room. But as he stepped in, he froze.

What lay before his eyes was a sight no one should ever witness.

  • The Surprise

Before long, Song Wei and Xiu Lung emerged through the sect’s gate. Both of them laughed loudly, full of triumph, imagining that the man who had ruined Grand Minister Yao Li’s plan would soon die a miserable death. A few seconds later, another old man—with long white eyebrows and white hair tied up in a topknot—followed them out and stood beside Xiu Lung. "These are the two who dared to challenge our sect, Sect Leader," Xiu Lung said, trying to incite the old man beside him. Hearing Xiu Lung’s dishonest words, Xiao Chen’s mind began to work. He suspected that the leader of the Eternal Sword Sect had no idea about Song Wei and Xiu Lung’s role in supporting Grand Minister Yao Li’s coup against Emperor Cheng Ho. "That’s rich coming from you!" Xiao Ji snapped angrily. "Wasn’t it you two who challenged my friend to come to the foot of Mount Kahuripan?" "Don’t lie!" Song Wei shouted, putting on a fake look of conviction. "We are

  • The Eternal Sword Sect

Xiao Chen smiled faintly as he heard the man’s words. "I’ll say this one last time," he said, spinning the twig in his hand a little faster. "Where are those two cowardly old men? My business is only with them—not with the entire Eternal Sword Sect." "Just admit you’re afraid to face all of us!" the yellow-skinned man taunted. "The word ‘fear’ doesn’t exist in my dictionary! Don’t regret it when your lives are lost for the sake of those two cowards!" After responding to the taunt, Xiao Chen quickly attacked one of the four men, thrusting the end of his twig toward the man’s head. But he was forced to pull back and jump several steps backward as two other attacks threatened his ribs and stomach. "Annoying, but weak attacks like these won’t hurt me!" the handsome young man muttered before increasing his speed. He launched another series of faster, continuous attacks at the two closest enemies. The two men targeted

  • The Battle Begins

For quite some time, the two of them sat silently on their horses, scanning the area—but there was not a single sign of the two old warriors anywhere. "Do you think they’re avoiding the main road?" Xiao Chen asked. "It’s possible," Xiao Ji replied. "From what Uncle Sutejo said last night, the Eternal Sword Sect is supposed to be on the right side of the main road—but I don’t see any footpath at all." Xiao Chen leaped off his horse and walked forward, his eyes fixed on the right side of the road, searching for tracks or any evidence that their enemies were nearby. But he found nothing—nothing to satisfy his curiosity. "Did you find anything?" Xiao Ji asked, still sitting on his horse. Xiao Chen shook his head slowly. "Could they have another path?" "You mean a different footpath?" Xiao Ji asked again. "Yeah. Did you see any footpath leading to the right before we got here?" Xiao Ji turned aroun

  • Arrival at the Foot of Mount Kahuripan

Grand Minister Yao Li also broke into a wide grin. The foot of Mount Kahuripan was where the Eternal Sword Sect was based—and if the warrior who had killed his personal guards dared to show up there, it would be like handing over his own life. Song Wei and Xiu Lung would surely deploy nearly two hundred sect members to gang up on him. "In that case, we shall take our leave, My Lord," Xiu Lung said. "We have a surprise prepared for that cursed warrior!" "Go, Masters," Yao Li replied. "Make sure that scum dies tomorrow. Bring me his head, and I will reward each of you with a pouch of gold coins." Song Wei and Xiu Lung bowed respectfully before exiting. Their minds were already filled with visions of the fifty gold coins each that would soon be in their hands. Meanwhile, in the palace, Emperor Cheng Ho and Grand Minister Tian Long were still waiting for word from the soldiers about the explosion they had heard. Both men were growing impatient, ea

  • The Delayed Duel

The old man growled in fury. He had never imagined that the young warrior’s initial attack had been nothing but a trick. Decades spent in the martial arts world—filled with bloodshed and lost lives—had amounted to nothing in the face of this boy. A moment later, Song Wei coughed softly, and fresh blood spurted from his lips. "Heh heh heh," Xiao Chen chuckled, his voice laced with mockery. "I thought the two of you were stronger than the men I killed last night. But it turns out your skills are no more than this." Song Wei felt as if he had been struck by lightning at the young man’s taunt. "You bastard!" he roared. Watching his comrade be humbled in just a few moves was almost unbearable for Xiu Lung. He rushed over to Song Wei, ready to help his friend fight back against Xiao Chen. "Are you alright?" Xiu Lung asked, his eyes scanning Song Wei for injuries. "I’m fine—just a minor wound," Song Wei replied, his gaze fixe

  • The Battle

Xiao Chen’s eyes narrowed as he realized he had been lured into a trap. Yet not a single trace of fear touched his mind—in fact, a wide grin spread across his face, as if he were throwing down a challenge to the dozens of men standing before him. Moments later, around fifty more uniformed soldiers emerged from the darkness of the night, joining the group that was already gathered. All of them stared daggers at the young man who seemed to possess not an ounce of fear. "You have made a terrible mistake," Xiao Chen declared, his voice ringing clear and steady. "Tonight, you have all thrown away your lives for the sake of supporting a traitor!" "Enough talk! Attack him!" one of the men shouted, giving the order. The combined force of roughly eighty soldiers and martial artists charged forward, attacking Xiao Chen with brutal ferocity. All of them shared the same ambition: to claim the huge reward Grand Minister Yao Li had promi
