Chapter 1
Execution Protocol Failed
Chapter 1
The execution room was cold, sterile, and built to erase souls. Zarek Voss knelt on an obsidian slab, chained at the wrists, ankles, and throat by suppression-forged manacles pulsing with red-lit runes. Each glyph buzzed with anti-system code, programmed to nullify any embedded abilities. His body ached from restraint, his muscles screamed from electroshock overloads, but his eyes... they burned with something primal. Rage. Control. Calculations. Ten meters ahead, separated by a triple-reinforced hex-field, stood the High Warden of Sector 9—a mechanical husk in a human shell. Dressed in gold-lined armor robes and flanked by two Sentinels, the Warden’s voice was monotone as he read the final verdict. "Zarek Voss, you are hereby sentenced to terminal deletion under Order Sigma-11. Your crimes: unlawful breach of a Sovereign Core, unauthorized possession of prohibited code, and destabilization of classified system architecture." Zarek didn’t blink. Didn’t speak. He simply stared past the Warden—toward the glowing Core Node embedded into the wall. Behind its crystalline shell, something pulsed. Not light. Not code. Life. His ace. "Have you any final words?" the Warden asked. Zarek smiled faintly. “Just one.” He raised his eyes, calm as ice. “Run.” The Warden frowned. “What?” A low hum reverberated through the chamber. Then the glyphs flickered. Sparks danced across the slab as the Core Node began to pulse erratically. Warning sirens screamed from overhead. The Execution Protocol initiated—but instead of breaking Zarek down atom by atom, the Core lit up like a star going nova. [System Alert: ERROR – Host Signature Unknown] [Override Detected – Glitch Protocol Active] The runes on the chains reversed polarity. The crimson hue turned void black. And Zarek screamed—but not in pain. In power. His mind flooded with raw data. Tens of thousands of locked sequences cascaded open. Security firewalls dissolved. Partitions in his neural core shattered as a corrupted voice echoed within his skull: “Welcome, Zarek Voss. Godroot Protocol initializing...” “All permissions unlocked.” “All limits removed.” The walls burst outward. The Sentinels collapsed, twitching as their own operating cores melted. The Warden fell back, shielding his face as white-blue code ignited the air around him. Zarek rose. The shackles shattered with a single flex of his fingers. Light danced along his skin like digital flame. His left eye glowed deep red. The right one pure black. System Interface Synced Godroot Authority: Active He took one step forward. The Core Node split open. A tendril of energy slithered toward him, coiling into his chest. He gasped, stumbling, but didn’t fall. Instead, the interface unfolded fully inside his vision: [ACCESS GRANTED: Reality Permissions x∞] [SKILL THEFT ENABLED] [NEW MODULE: Combat Hijack] The room flickered between dimensions as if reality itself glitched. He now had access to everything. And no one could stop him. The Warden was crawling backward. “You—you’re not a Host. You’re corrupted. You’re—” “Wrong,” Zarek said coldly. He raised his hand. A black glyph spun from his palm like a virus. The Warden’s armor cracked. “You gave me the seat,” Zarek continued. “You lit the match.” He clutched the node's edge and muttered: “/command: erase execution files.” EXECUTING... DONE “/command: nullify identity trace.” USER NOW: NON-EXISTENT The entire world’s surveillance systems no longer knew he was alive. That meant Zarek Voss was free. And far, far more dangerous. The Citadel panicked. Lights failed. Emergency protocols went offline. Fire suppression kicked in. Guards poured into the corridor leading to the chamber. But they were too late. Zarek stepped through the breach, walking calmly over the wreckage. First guard raised a plasma spear. Zarek didn’t dodge. Instead, he flicked two fingers. The spear melted into sand. The guard screamed. New Skill Acquired: Molecular Rewrite (Lv. 1) Zarek’s body buzzed with stolen knowledge. Second guard tried a thermal blade. Zarek let him strike. Metal met his skin. It clanged. He didn’t bleed. The guard’s face paled. Zarek whispered, “/inject: fear.exe.” The man collapsed. Passive Trait: Psychological Override (Unlocked) Zarek reached the corridor's end and turned sharply into the main elevator shaft. Alarms continued to blare. He looked up—200 meters of vertical lift sealed by biometric gates. He grinned. “/command: enable vertical jump boost. Multiplier x10.” His feet launched. He flew. Every floor blurred past. Near the top, two drones hovered into view—armed, tracking his presence. “/command: slow time.” The world froze to a crawl. Zarek rotated midair, reached into the HUD, dragged two skill icons across one another—Firebolt and Shadowstep—and merged them. NEW HYBRID SKILL CREATED: Void Spear He launched it. Both drones burst in synchronized silence. Zarek landed on the rooftop as the clouds parted. Outside, the world was burning. The cities were under surveillance. System-born agents patrolled sky lanes. The sky flickered with satellites, ready to scan, control, dominate. He cracked his knuckles. They didn’t know yet. The System God had awakened. NEW QUEST UNLOCKED: Eliminate Patch Agent [Ω-Class] Reward: Admin Key Fragment Tracking: 3.2 km northeast Zarek turned toward the city. His eyes narrowed. He walked toward the edge. And jumped.Expand

SYSTEM GOD THE REBOOTED The Signal that shouldn't exist
CHAPTER 17 Zarek Pov Zarek woke before dawn. Not from a nightmare, but from instinct. Something had changed in the air. He sat up on the makeshift cot Maren had given him. Kio’s soft breathing echoed across the far side of the outpost. Outside, the wind whispered through the fractured cliffside like a warning. The pulse he’d felt last night still rang faintly in the back of his mind. A signal. Small. Faint. But alive. And wrong. He grabbed his coat, ignoring the sting in his ribs, and moved without waking them. Outside, the world looked like it was holding its breath. Ash floated through the morning mist like dying snowflakes. The mountains beyond the valley cracked with static light from the old war—a sign the border fields were active again. But the signal

SYSTEM GOD THE REBOOTED A God without a Name
CHAPTER 16 Zarek pov The first thing he noticed was the absence. Of data. Of tracking lines. Of the ever-present hum of the System in his ear. Zarek opened his eyes in a clearing surrounded by mist and ruin. His body ached in ways that didn’t make sense—organic, grounded, fragile. He had stripped away every piece of his former self. No link. No ID. No system tether. Just a name whispering at the edge of memory: Voss. He said it out loud. It didn’t echo. That unsettled him. There was no feedback. No surveillance node pinged his location. No HUD scanned his vitals. He was no longer inside their framework. He was outside the System. Truly off the grid. And that meant the world was about to become infinitely more dangerous. He stagger

SYSTEM GOD THE REBOOTED Code of the Broken King
CHAPTER 15 Zarek POV Zarek didn’t breathe until the cold wind cut across his face again. He stumbled downhill through the wreckage of the Eastern Citadel, his coat torn, blood soaking the band around his ribs. Every step burned. Every breath felt like dragging broken glass into his chest. But it wasn’t the pain that kept him awake. It was the whispers. Not from the System. Not from Null. From inside him. From whatever that red portal had awakened. He’d seen them. Copies. Fractures. Broken Sovereigns, each one a failed ghost of himself—faces he didn’t remember having, versions of him that never should have survived. But they had. And they were being unleashed. By his own codebase. “You idiot,” he muttered, staggering into a tree trunk for balance. “You thought you were the only one who got

SYSTEM GOD THE REBOOTED The First Reaper rises
CHAPTER 14 Zarek POV There was a smell in the wind—like burned circuitry and wet stone. Not natural. Not from this world. It was the scent of a system breach. Zarek stood on the edge of the collapsed citadel plateau, boots grinding into fractured crystal, his chest rising slowly. Beside him, Nyx winced as she pressed gauze over her bleeding temple, her cloak torn and her dagger coated in synth-blood. They had survived the first wave. But something had changed. “They’re not pulling back,” she muttered, voice low and tight. “That wasn’t a test squad. That was an execution unit.” “They needed confirmation,” Zarek said. “Now they have it.” Nyx looked at him sideways. “You sent a damn beacon.” He didn’t deny it. He had triggered the old signature. That meant the network had recognized him—Zarek Voss, former System Sovereign

SYSTEM GOD THE REBOOTED Ashes of the Forgotten Crown
CHAPTER 13 Zarek Voss Pov The wind over Ashvale didn’t howl—it hissed, low and mean, like it had a memory to settle. A memory soaked in blood and iron and judgment. Zarek crouched near the shattered obsidian altar, his fingers tracing the cold, ancient grooves. Every line pulsed faintly under his skin like the aftershock of something buried too deep. It wasn’t just a ruin. It was his ruin. “What kind of place is this?” Nyx asked, her voice cut through the air behind him, sharp with nerves. “It feels like it’s breathing.” “It should be dead,” Zarek muttered. “But the System doesn't bury its sins. It archives them.” He stood slowly, his boots crunching against bone fragments and fractured glass. Ashvale had once been a Citadel—his Citadel. The throne of the Western Code Ring. Until the System erased him from it like a smudge. [System Notification: Sub-Th

SYSTEM GOD THE REBOOTED Ghost Protocol: Reap.exe
Chapter 12 The entire chamber groaned beneath the pressure of the system-breaking presence. Zarek’s eyes locked onto the figure emerging from the void like it was being carved out of reality itself.Entity Detected: Crown Hunter Unit Ω – Reap.exeThreat Level: Ω-Red (Auto-Eradication Protocols Engaged)Objective: Sovereign Termination – Priority ClassCrown Sync Disruption Probability: 87%It was huge. A towering juggernaut of shifting metal, black glass, and blood-red algorithmic light. Its joints hissed like grinding tectonic plates, and its single eye scanned the chamber with perfect focus. In its right hand, a blade longer than Zarek was tall—serrated with glowing inscriptions—each line a Sovereign it had killed."Fallback to Ghost Protocol now," Zarek muttered. “Nyx—engage Silence Field Alpha.”Nyx nodded sharply, a rare flicker of urgency breaking her usual calm. She raised her hand, channeling her Crown’s core into the chamber. The light bent and warped as silence swallowed th
