Styng of justice

News of his mother’s escape made Sam's  stomach turn on its side.

" How did my mom brake out? "

“I don’t know but I plan to find out.”

“I’m coming with you.”

“Like hell you are.”

“Uncle Chris, come on. You’re too much in a bad shape to go on your own.”

“Actually, I can help with that.” Onika said.

” Ondoa majeraha kwenye mwili wake, "

Chris’s body become coated with pink spiritual constructs healing his body in seconds.

“You got to teach me how to do that.” Sam smiled at her.

Can’t believe I’m saving this but your right. Chris said. I believe its time you and your coven teach Sam how to properly use voodoo.”

“Seriously?”

This attack proves that more and more threats will come after you. As much as I hate to admit it, I can’t protect you from everything.”

“I can take Sam to the coven to properly train for the next threat.” Onika added. If you like, I can teleport you to the ward, sheriff.”

“I usually feel uneasy with those type of spells but in this case, I’ll make an exception.”

“Right,”

Chris’s body became swallowed by pink spiritual constructs as his body faded from the room.

“What do we do now?”

“We, Sammy.” She pulled out a small vase from her purse.” Start your training.”

Sam stood puzzled by the miniature vase as Onika placed it the center of the room.

“Mind explaining whatcha doing?”

“Finding the most untreated spot in this house. Onika answered as she took out a small bag from her purse.

She poured out blue sand from the pouch, making a large circle with in the room.

She Sat in the middle of the circle, folding her legs and polling out a purple scarf to wrap up her hair.

“Hop in.”

Sam walked inside the circle while Onika pulled out another pouch. This one containing green sand which she used to draw a green spade around the vase.

“Jaza chombo hiki na chemchemi za mababu, “

Onika covered the top of the vase with her left hand as the vase glow blue before returning to its pale texture.

“Take a mouthful.” She told Sam while handing him the vase.”

He took a large gulp from the container before carefully returning it to the middle of the circle.

“What was that?” Sam asked, wiping his mouth.” Taste like vodka.”

“Close. Its define water from the beyond. It’s essential to help us get, to our training plain.

Onika took the vase and swallowed the liquid inside.

“Now try to relax. They more tense our bodies are, the tougher it’ll be to crossover.

Onika lifted her Palms up entering Sam to lift his a few inches from hers.

“ Hongera sana wa New Orleans, tunakupa miili yetu kwa kubadilishana na njia salama kuelekea eneo lako, “

The sand circle glow bright around them as the tow voodooist closed their eyes.

“ Tupeleke kwenye ulimwengu zaidi ya utupeleke kwenye ulimwengu wa nje. Tupeleke kwenye ulimwengu wa nje , “

Sam and Onika’s eyes shot open with white light pouring from their eyes. And their bodies vanished from the house.

When they came to, they found themselves in an abandoned version of the New Orlean’s French quarters.

“Samuel Ethol.” Onika said as she stand up with Sam. Welcome to the beyond quarters.

“The beyond quarters?” Sam asked.

“I know what your think. This look just like the French Quarters.”

“Yeah. Are you that spell took us to the right place?

Suddenly, a strange creature with purple and green scales wrapped its shake like body around the young voodooist.

“Does that answer your question?”

The strange creature let out a massive roar, prompting the dread locked teenager to hold his ground.

“Easy, Sammy. She’s a friend.

Onika snapped her hands conjuring a spell circle under her feet. The circle levitate upward as the young priestess lifted her berms.

Onika’s civilian clothes slow transformed int a pink and green out of and her hair freed from the wrap.

“Damn.” Sam drooled over her alluring wardrobe.

“Down, Sammy.” Onika smirked.

The supernatural creature circled around the teenagers slowly with every turn.

“Mumbi. I got you. Something, Girl.”

Onika pulled out a strange spotted fruit from her bag before feeding it to the starting creature and putting its head.

“Is that a….”

“Soul Nocturne.” The spirits lave them.”

“Spirits? As in more than one?”

Mumbi rested her head on the ground allowing Onika to climb onboard.

“Hop on. Spi boy.

Sam previously climbed on the large spirit as he wrapped his arms, around Onika’s waist.

“Hold now.”

Onika softly tugged on Mumbai’s neck as the spirit took off on a rush.

“What the hell?” Sam yelled in fear as the zoomed through the streets in a blur. What felt like hours of travel sunk onto the novice voodooist’s skin as his lady friend blissfully leaned back through the travel.

“Don’t worry, Spi boy.” You’ll get use to Mumbai.

The elongated creature continued her passage until she reached their destination.

“Hope you didn’t get too queezy.” Onika joked.

“Sam wobbled of Mumbai, struggling to find his bearings.

“Next time, I’m taking a cab.”

“That won’t be possible, Grandson.” Benjermin said as he and Nelson walked toward him.

“You brought him to the Beyond Quarters?” Nelson complained.

“Nice to see you again too Cuz.”

“Ignore him.” Onika said. “We’re here to start the Spi boy’s training.”

“So I anticipated. I shall call the others.” Benjermin said.

Benjermin pulled at a curled horn and blew it, emitting a powerful noise that shook Sam to his very core.

“Relax, Sammy.” Onika giggled. It a sacked horn that only voodooist can hear. No need to be alarmed.”
