Chapter 98

"I can't believe I'm doing this," George muttered to himself, his hands trembling. He glanced at his phone, contemplating whether to call the police right away to ask them if Salmon had gotten to them but he decided against it as Cassie was still with him.

As he weighed his options, George felt a mixture of anger and helplessness. He despised Cassie and her gang for what they had done, and he had been trying to gather enough evidence to bring them down for months. This could be his chance to finally put an end to their criminal activities. However, he couldn't risk Anna's life in the process.

With a heavy sigh, George made up his mind. He would comply with the instructions, at least for now. He couldn't bear the thought of Anna suffering any longer.
