THE NEXT DAY

AT MICHAEL'S POV

As son as I was done with my food I went to look for any useful task. Now I can see adventurer guild ones and it seems they pay more. Looks like that I could cut some trees for wood company. I think I just got idea.

"I accept it."I said.

"Here you go, it's close here."An oc said.

I packed needed items and left. It was time to get that wood.

---

As soon as I reached that spot I saw an oc who was cutting tree.

"I am here for a wood task."I said.

"You need to chop those 5 trees. I give you an axe to work this out. When you done we can talk about reward."He said.

"Can I cut more for bigger reward?"I asked.

"I don't mind a skillful worker. All that needs to be cut down."He said.

I could tell he was happy to hear that he don't need to wait an another adventurer for it. I nodded and left while smiling. Everything is going on how I have planned it. I can earn enough materials just by doing tasks and soon I have a bed.

I kept working for needed items and it took me a few hours to get those trees down, but it felt pretty nice to see a job done. I think I should be able to get some copper coins and not only a wood too. It sounded like a really good thing for me.

"I am done."I said.

"You did a good work."He said and nodded.

I saw how he gave me some coins. 25 copper to be exact.

"I would like to buy a 5 wood planks from you."I said.

"I am going to give you them as an extra reward since I never seen someone doing such a great job before."An oc said.

I nodded and smiled happily. I might be able to work for him to earn money once again. As soon as I was done I left to my home and check the stuff I had. I was only missing some nails to get. I thought of idea to buy them, but I did not wanted to spend any more money for it. I might go to the scrap placce to look for it. I also need a sewing item. I wonder if the scraps place could have like a needle and other stuff needed for it. I just need to go there and check it out.

"I wonder how I can get those."I thought loudly.

"You can go to the wasteyard."I heard Wanessas voice.

"What are you doing here?"I asked.

"I was looking for you. I wanted to spend more time and also I brought lunch."She said.

I was shocked to hear that she got food for me, but it made me feel happy. It seems that I got a really nice person for me. As soon as I was done eating I left.

----

In less than an hour we arrived at a 'wasteyard'. I found myself standing on the outskirts of this kingdom's city, a desolate wasteyard stretching out before me. The air is thick with dust and decay, and the once bustling urban landscape has given way to a haunting, abandoned terrain. The ground beneath my feet is a mixture of cracked concrete, gravel, and sand, each step echoing in the eerie silence. It seems that there is a rare person to come here looking for needed items.

"We need a needle, thread and maybe a sewing item if it is possible."I said.

"I am going to help you look for it."Wanessa said and I nodded.

A towering stack of corroded shipping containers stands as a monument to the wasteyard's industrial past. They are riddled with holes, graffiti, and makeshift shelters for those brave or desperate enough to take out a living in this unforgiving environment. It seems that these days people barely use stuff like this in a game and for some reason, this looks like a treasure box for members who have time and patience for look items. Shadows play tricks on the mind, making every rusted hulk or debris pile appear as a potential danger. As I walk carefully through the wasteyard, I can't help but feel a sense of both desolation and interest. In a few hours of searching, I was able to find a needle and thread for a barely standing sewing machine.

"We need sewing item now. I think the next thing I want is to find a way to bring this sewing table back."I said.

"It seems you even found a scrapped sewing table. It is on the next task. I made a new one, but I am happy to see you got this one. I am proud of you."Wanessa said with a noticeable smirk on her face.

I can tell it was automatic before and if I be able to fix it I am going to have an automatic cloth-making machine that can turn dry grass into cloth.

"We need sewing item first before I can go home."I said.

"Let's look inside those boxes. It must be inside."She said and I nodded.

As soon as I looked inside I saw a needed it was that sewing item.

"It seems that we can go back now."I said.

"Looks like it."She said and I nodded.

I smiled and left back home. It was time to build that bed.

----

First, I laid out a series of wooden planks to form the bed frame. The wood feels solid and reliable as I place each piece. It's like assembling a puzzle, each plank locking into place with a satisfying click. With the frame complete, I carefully position a sturdy mattress. The soft fabric feels inviting, and it's the foundation of a good night's sleep in this game. I happy that I spend time to sewing up this bed. I heard you may buy more comfortable things for bed but it needs time and money. To complete the ensemble, I add a warm and welcoming blanket.

Bed is completed. You got energy recovery feature. You may add more energy to putting more decorations on a bed.

It seems that I finally can have a good night rest. It's time to have some rest. I can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring to me.

IN A FEW HOURS AT MICHAEL'S POV:As soon as we got back home I started to work on building a gunsmith. It's going to take some time, but surprisingly I have got almost everything here with me. Back at my crafting table, I lay out the materials I've gathered—wood, ore, and coal—ready to begin construction. With deft fingers, I fashion the wooden frame of my gun-making device, reinforcing it with metal bars for strength. With a flick of a switch, the flames roar to life in the furnace, casting an orange glow across the workshop. I load the furnace with ore and coal, watching as they melt and merge into molten metal. With careful precision, I pour the liquid metal into molds, shaping it into ingots that will form the basis of my firearms. "It looks pretty hard."Wanessa said."It is but I can do it."I said and smiled. As the components take shape, I lay them out on the workbench, ready for assembly. With practiced hands, I fit each piece together, the familiar click of metal on metal mus

AT THE SAME TIMEAT MICHAEL'S POV:The next day I decided to visit that campsite location. It was obvious that I was able to go there for a good reason. "I can't wait to explore every nook and cranny of this place. Who knows what hidden treasures or exciting quests we might stumble upon?"Wanessa said with excitement."Agreed! But let's not forget to watch our backs. With such breathtaking scenery, I wouldn't be surprised if there are some tough challenges ahead."I said with concern in my voice. "You so focused, Michael. I am sure that we are going to have fun while finishing those missions ahead of us."Ophelia said.I sighed and nodded a bit. She was not wrong about that. One of the things I like about this old game is those chalanges ahead. After a few more hours of walking, we finally reached a campsite location. It's one of those 'safe zones' so I got pretty excited about it. "Ah, finally, a moment of respite in this bustling safe zone. Look at all the shops and vendors lining t

AT THE SAME TIMEAT MICHAEL'S POV:I was shocked to see crow's removal task in everything. I thought it would be fallen ones or something."I know that you surprised, but they are pretty strong in the bigger amounts and cause a lot of trouble for us."Leader said."I understand, but why others don't do it?"I asked."They don't have team like yours and thinks it's too small pay. They are in a forest not so far away from here. I can tell you can keep feathers. Meat is good too if you want it."She said.I got disgusted to think eating crows meat, but I felt it could be useful one way or another."I do it."I said."Good job."She said and smiled."10 copper coins for normal one and 1 silver coin for silver crow."I know what forest she is talking about. It's Highlands. It's more similiar to the mountains, but I can see familiar stuff. "How much exactly do you need for this task be completed?"I asked."10 crows if you find normal colour or 5 silver ones."She said. "I understood."I said and

  • 31. An adventure cave F rank

AT THE SAME TIMEAT MICHAEL'S POV: I noticed that we got everything ready to go there in quite a short amount of time. I think we are ready to go to that cave. As I walked deeper into the forest, the dense roof above cast dappled shadows on the forest floor, and a cool breeze whispered through the leaves, carrying the scent of pine and earth. Lost in thought, I was startled when a voice called out from behind."Hey there! Mind if I join you?" Wanessa's voice cut through the quiet, his footsteps crunching the fallen leaves as he caught up to me."Not at all," I replied, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "I was just enjoying the peacefulness of the forest." "Me too," Wanessa said, falling into step beside me. "There's something special about being surrounded by nature, isn't there?"I nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of camaraderie as we continued along the winding path. The forest seemed to embrace us, its ancient presence weaving a sense of wonder and awe around us."It

  • 30. Fallen ones attack

IN A MORNINGAT MICHAEL'S POV:It was pretty obvious that we are going to get attacked by 'fallen' tonight. I saw that we can finish house upgrades, so after eating I decided to do just that. Ophelia took care of the east side and Wnessa of vest side. I started looking for something to fight them off so I quickly went to my guild master."Fallen ones huh?"She asked."It seems that we are going to get attacked soon."I said."They are bad with fire and guns, but it's hard to get in such a short time. You can buy a weaker gun but it won't help much so you need to craft a dagger or something you can throw."He said."I think I do got a weapon from a last trip. It's big sword. I never used one before."I said.As soon as she saw it she nodded understandably. It seems that we got idea how I can fight back. "You got it when?"She asked."When I was looking for materials. In leftowers/refuge cave. I think I found it as a 'rare' item."I said. I sighed and nodded a bit. It seems that this sword

It was time for me to get some information about Crossbow and it sounded like a good idea to get something like that."I heard it's pretty old place."Wanessa said."It is old, but I like it."I said."I can tell you like places like this. I think it's also because you enjoy working on things like that. It makes sense."Ophelia said."I guess you not so wrong about it."I said.I kept walking with them and soon we reached the library. It was like a first time, but I liked that about it. I knew already to go to look for some information. "We are here. I am going to the protection section here."I said."I am going to look around first."Wanessa said.I nodded and left. I wonder what Ophelia decided to do, but I liked the current situation. It sounded like something I was already used to."I think that we should find it here."I said. "We need weapon blueprint this time or something close to it."I was looking around and sur
