THE NEXT DAY

AT MICHAEL'S POV:

I was excited to see adventurers guild, but first I decided to talk to Wanessa. I am sure that she is able to help me. It took me a while to find her, but it was time for me to visit the adventurer's guild. I found Wanessa heading there too, so it should be an interesting experiance.

"I see you are going there too."I said.

"I want get a new task from them."She said.

"I want to get a rank first."I said.

"Let's go then."Wanessa said and I nodded.

-----

It took me a few hours to reach this guild since I stepped through the grand doors of the adventurer guild, the familiar scent of polished wood and parchment greeting me. The main hall stretches before me, bustling with players and NPCs alike. There are long wooden tables covered in maps, scrolls, and quest documents. Adventurers huddle together, deep in conversation, their bodies adorned in a variety of armor and stuff. It's an old building and I happy to see it.

I approach the quest board, where a series of notices are posted. Each parchment holds the promise of a new quest, a chance for riches or fame in this guild. I check the listings, my eyes scanning the titles and rewards.

"We should look for joining thing."I said.

"I think we should look for a guild leader."She said.

"I think it's a good idea."I said.

At the far end of the hall, I see the guild master, a distinguished NPC with an air of authority. Adventurers approach, seeking guidance and counsel. I consider speaking with the guild master, my next adventure awaiting his endorsement. The atmosphere in the adventurer guild is electric, filled with the company of like-minded individuals. It's a place of possibilities, where the quest for glory, wealth, and exploration takes center stage.

"I was looking for you. I want to join an adventurer guild."I said.

"It's good to see you. I am Liam, leader."He said.

"I am Michael."I said.

"I am Wanessa."She said.

"I want to join it."I said.

I stand before the guild master, a stern but fair NPC who oversees the guild's operations.. With a firm nod, the guild master assigns me a task to prove my worth.

"I want you to get me something from the forest. It's not an easy task but it will give me a chance to see your worth."Liam said.

"I accept."I said.

As I step out of the guild, the vast world of the game unfolds before me. The sun is setting, casting long shadows, and I can see the forest entrance in the distance, a foreboding structure against the darkening sky. It's time to go inside the forest. My gaze is focused, scanning the forest floor for any hint of the elusive flowers. Each step is a moment of discovery, and I know the rare blooms could be just around the next tree.

"It seems that I got closer to needed flowers."I said.

I kept looking for it. After what feels like hours of exploration, I finally spot a glimmer of color. It's a rare flower, hidden among the green greenery. I approached it with a mix of excitement and happiness.

"I got it!"I said it.

My gaze is focused, scanning the forest floor for any hint of the elusive flowers. Each step is a moment of discovery, and I know the rare blooms could be just around the next tree. The sunlight filters through the dense canopy above, casting shadows on the ground. I carefully collect the flower, storing it in my bag.

"Time return to guild." I said.

As I returned to the guild I saw that guild master was already waiting for me. I walked closer to him and I was holding that same flower he wanted me to bring it. I think he seems to be happy that it worked out. I hand him the flower and I see how he nods.

"It seems that you have passed exam for F or bronze rank."He said.

"I a happy to hear it."I said.

I saw how he took out a bronze hard and handed it to me. As soon as I took it I saw a nodification.

You have reached bronze rank -F- in the adventurer's guild. You are allowed to have a 'bed' to recharge.

"Congratulations, Michael."Wanessa said.

"Thanks."I said.

"I can not wait to see your house with it."Wanessa said with a smirk.

---

Now I finally can have a bed. I can look for a blueprint for it. It took me an hour, but I was able to find in the same guild with a workers help. I smiled and left back home. It was time for me to work on some things to get the needed items to build that bed. I know it will take some time, but I am ready for it. I'll need a certain amount of wood or wooden planks to construct the bed frame. It is like 5 of them and it doesn't sound so bad. I also will need fabric or cloth material. I know I can find it. I saw it on a notice board in my guild. I also might need stitching or crafting tools. I also need 4 nails to make sure it works well. It seems I might be stuck a while until I do it.

"I thought it be easier, but I might have to take a bit longer to do it."I muttered.

This blueprint is not too hard but I am sure I have to work on it for a while. It is time to return to the guild building and start working on it tomorrow. As soon as I got there I went to my room and sat on a bed looking at blueprint again. It seems that it will take a new location since I haven't build a wood crafting item, with means to earn more money. I hate doing stuff like this, but it seems that I got n other choice left.

IN A FEW HOURS AT MICHAEL'S POV:As soon as we got back home I started to work on building a gunsmith. It's going to take some time, but surprisingly I have got almost everything here with me. Back at my crafting table, I lay out the materials I've gathered—wood, ore, and coal—ready to begin construction. With deft fingers, I fashion the wooden frame of my gun-making device, reinforcing it with metal bars for strength. With a flick of a switch, the flames roar to life in the furnace, casting an orange glow across the workshop. I load the furnace with ore and coal, watching as they melt and merge into molten metal. With careful precision, I pour the liquid metal into molds, shaping it into ingots that will form the basis of my firearms. "It looks pretty hard."Wanessa said."It is but I can do it."I said and smiled. As the components take shape, I lay them out on the workbench, ready for assembly. With practiced hands, I fit each piece together, the familiar click of metal on metal mus

AT THE SAME TIMEAT MICHAEL'S POV:The next day I decided to visit that campsite location. It was obvious that I was able to go there for a good reason. "I can't wait to explore every nook and cranny of this place. Who knows what hidden treasures or exciting quests we might stumble upon?"Wanessa said with excitement."Agreed! But let's not forget to watch our backs. With such breathtaking scenery, I wouldn't be surprised if there are some tough challenges ahead."I said with concern in my voice. "You so focused, Michael. I am sure that we are going to have fun while finishing those missions ahead of us."Ophelia said.I sighed and nodded a bit. She was not wrong about that. One of the things I like about this old game is those chalanges ahead. After a few more hours of walking, we finally reached a campsite location. It's one of those 'safe zones' so I got pretty excited about it. "Ah, finally, a moment of respite in this bustling safe zone. Look at all the shops and vendors lining t

AT THE SAME TIMEAT MICHAEL'S POV:I was shocked to see crow's removal task in everything. I thought it would be fallen ones or something."I know that you surprised, but they are pretty strong in the bigger amounts and cause a lot of trouble for us."Leader said."I understand, but why others don't do it?"I asked."They don't have team like yours and thinks it's too small pay. They are in a forest not so far away from here. I can tell you can keep feathers. Meat is good too if you want it."She said.I got disgusted to think eating crows meat, but I felt it could be useful one way or another."I do it."I said."Good job."She said and smiled."10 copper coins for normal one and 1 silver coin for silver crow."I know what forest she is talking about. It's Highlands. It's more similiar to the mountains, but I can see familiar stuff. "How much exactly do you need for this task be completed?"I asked."10 crows if you find normal colour or 5 silver ones."She said. "I understood."I said and

  • 31. An adventure cave F rank

AT THE SAME TIMEAT MICHAEL'S POV: I noticed that we got everything ready to go there in quite a short amount of time. I think we are ready to go to that cave. As I walked deeper into the forest, the dense roof above cast dappled shadows on the forest floor, and a cool breeze whispered through the leaves, carrying the scent of pine and earth. Lost in thought, I was startled when a voice called out from behind."Hey there! Mind if I join you?" Wanessa's voice cut through the quiet, his footsteps crunching the fallen leaves as he caught up to me."Not at all," I replied, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "I was just enjoying the peacefulness of the forest." "Me too," Wanessa said, falling into step beside me. "There's something special about being surrounded by nature, isn't there?"I nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of camaraderie as we continued along the winding path. The forest seemed to embrace us, its ancient presence weaving a sense of wonder and awe around us."It

  • 30. Fallen ones attack

IN A MORNINGAT MICHAEL'S POV:It was pretty obvious that we are going to get attacked by 'fallen' tonight. I saw that we can finish house upgrades, so after eating I decided to do just that. Ophelia took care of the east side and Wnessa of vest side. I started looking for something to fight them off so I quickly went to my guild master."Fallen ones huh?"She asked."It seems that we are going to get attacked soon."I said."They are bad with fire and guns, but it's hard to get in such a short time. You can buy a weaker gun but it won't help much so you need to craft a dagger or something you can throw."He said."I think I do got a weapon from a last trip. It's big sword. I never used one before."I said.As soon as she saw it she nodded understandably. It seems that we got idea how I can fight back. "You got it when?"She asked."When I was looking for materials. In leftowers/refuge cave. I think I found it as a 'rare' item."I said. I sighed and nodded a bit. It seems that this sword

AT MORNINGAT MICHAEL'S POV:All of us decided to go to the library. It was time for me to get some information about Crossbow and it sounded like a good idea to get something like that."I heard it's pretty old place."Wanessa said."It is old, but I like it."I said."I can tell you like places like this. I think it's also because you enjoy working on things like that. It makes sense."Ophelia said."I guess you not so wrong about it."I said.I kept walking with them and soon we reached the library. It was like a first time, but I liked that about it. I knew already to go to look for some information. "We are here. I am going to the protection section here."I said."I am going to look around first."Wanessa said.I nodded and left. I wonder what Ophelia decided to do, but I liked the current situation. It sounded like something I was already used to."I think that we should find it here."I said. "We need weapon blueprint this time or something close to it."I was looking around and sur
