26th October

Morning came far too slowly. I had laid in a strange bed staring up at a strange ceiling all night. If my eyes closed for longer than a blink. I would have been shocked. No amount of house checks had made me feel safe. I was running on adrenaline. Some nice drugs would go down a treat now. A bit of coke or a gram of billy something to sharpen the senses. No sleep for about thirty hours is no good. April did sleep but it was on and off all night. When she woke I pretended to be asleep to avoid the questions. No hiding now.

I was up and dress. This time I didn’t try to sneak out. The chances someone attacking me were high. Jessie came with me to the door. I was going for a smoke and I guess she needed a shit.

On the doorstep was a note. I picked it up to read. This was bad. While we rested they had come here as well. They must have followed one of us some how. Or they have been watching us for a while. Getting a plan together on how to get rid of us. I read the note.
