The Revenant

The Revenant. That was the name given to him by the people of his village.

Some people think he's nothing more than an urban legend, some people say he's history, part of his land and culture like a folk lore while others think that he is nothing more than an ordinary story that has been told out of proportions. Whatever the case, all these stories had many similarities and with each iteration, one thing remained consistent.

The Revenant was the boy who died and came back.

Everything was broken. Everyday that he opened his eyes, Yahamad Ismail thanked his gods for allowing him to live another day, repeating a process he had to accomplish daily in order to survive or more importantly...his loved ones had to survive.
