Finn Rowe stared at the band on his wrist. The black watch shined, even in the dim light of the hall. He felt its weight, literally and what it meant. This wasn't just a watch. It was a mark of status, recognized by all Blackwell groups. It meant he was someone important. Finn moved his fingers, unsure and excited. He could hardly believe the power he now had, along with all the responsibility and risk.

Lord Sovereign watched him. His golden eyes seemed to see right through Finn. Ready for this, Finn? he asked, his voice steady. Finn stood up straight, full of resolve.

I am, Finn said, his voice strong, filled with years of pain and hard times.

Good, Lord Sovereign said, nodding. Each test is tough, but it comes with perks. If you win, you'll get rich, powerful, influential, and women will want you. You'll have the power to get loyalty and respect that others can only dream about.

Finn swallowed, trying to take it all in. The thought that he could go from where he was just days ago to such a high position made his heart race with fear and excitement.

China will explain the next test, Lord Sovereign said, pointing to his secretary. She stepped forward, calm and precise, her eyes showing respect for Finn.

Lord Sovereign told Finn to come closer. Look at me, he said. Finn hesitated, then moved forward. When their eyes met, Finn felt a weird, painful feeling. Light seemed to press into his head, warmth spreading around his eyes. He stumbled, holding onto the band for support.

Now you're awake, Lord Sovereign said. Your eyes are active. They'll let you see and understand things better than anyone else. The pain won't last, but the power will. Finn blinked, but he could already feel the change. Everything seemed sharper, more real.

China stepped forward, her voice clear. Your first test, Lord Finn, is to find the T*****r accounts of the four families that are secretly moving drugs. You have to find them and stop them. This is your first job. Be careful, and if you're successful, you'll be recognized.

Finn felt a rush of adrenaline. This was no easy task. The families were strong and risky, hidden behind layers of secrets. But his eyes gave him confidence, a way to see through the webs that he couldn't see before.

China went on, looking at the band on his wrist. The Galton family has offered a lot of shares to meet the Grand Sovereign. Because you're next in line, they've agreed to give you VIP access at the charity event. With the band, everyone will respect you like they respect the Grand Sovereign.

Finn nodded, understanding what it meant. Going to the charity as a VIP would give him access to people, influence, and information. It was a good chance to watch and start getting power.

China's voice got sharper. The Grand Sovereign wants you to get the fifteenth spot at the event. But you won't get any help. You have to make all the choices on your own. You have to use your head to win. Remember that you don't have much money. You didn't bring any from your old life, so you have to find ways to get it, use it, or make it to get that spot.

Finn frowned, thinking about the challenge. He had no money, but the stakes were high. The tests were made to check not just his skill, but also how resourceful, smart, and tough he was. He could feel the pressure, but his eyes reminded him of what he had.

You have to do it all yourself, China said, her voice firm. No one will help. The Grand Sovereign trusts you, but he won't make it easy. Each test you win will give you more rewards and power, and each one you lose will cost you a chance.

Finn clenched his fists, feeling a fire inside him. He had been beaten and betrayed by people he trusted. Now he had a chance to rise, to get respect, to become someone feared and admired across the world. The band on his wrist and his eyes were his tools, and he would learn how to use them.

What's the next test? Finn asked, his voice steady.

China will guide you, Lord Sovereign said with a nod. But remember, each test is a step toward getting better. You have to plan, do, and win on your own. Be smart. Strength isn't enough.

Finn felt determined. He had an idea, a plan in his head, but he wasn't sure how to do it. He would have to think fast, act fast, and change as needed. The stakes were huge, but so were the rewards. He wasn't the weak son-in-law anymore. He was Finn Blackwell, grandson of the Grand Sovereign, and he was on his way to power.

China gave him a tablet with the details of the first test. Finn's eyes shined as he read it, taking in everything. The families' social networks, money, and secrets started to show up in his mind. He could already see the weaknesses, the ways to move and control the system. It was overwhelming, but exciting.

You'll win, Lord Finn, China said, watching him. But you have to get the fifteenth spot on your own. No cheating, no favors. You have to earn everything with your skill. The test will push you hard, but it's worth it. You'll get rich, powerful, and famous if you win.

Finn nodded, determined. He moved his fingers, feeling the band and what it meant. His eyes pulsed, reminding him of the gifts and challenges he had. He could feel himself thinking, looking at the risks and possibilities.

The road ahead was risky and full of challenges. But for the first time, Finn felt alive, capable, and determined. He would face the tests, win every time, and take the position that had been kept from him for so long.

I'm ready, Finn said, his voice steady. I'll finish the tests and take what's mine. Nothing will stop me.

Lord Sovereign smiled. Then start. The path is open. Your skill will decide everything. Remember, your eyes are your advantage, but also a responsibility. Use them well, and the empire will be yours.

Finn took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the challenge. He moved his fingers again, feeling the band on his wrist, and took a moment to think. He had been thrown away and made to feel small. Now he was Finn Blackwell, and nothing would stop him from getting to the top.
