28. In That Narrow Alley

"I don't understand you, I told you that I wanted to talk to you!" Alice said it sharply as she jerked Zana's hand.

Zana, who was about to go inside her house, was forced to face Alice again because Alice pulled her hand so tightly. She glared at Alice while rubbing her wrist.

"You're the one who doesn't understand me!" Zana blurted it out forcefully. She didn't want to lose, let alone take the blame. She then pointed at Alice's chest, applying pressure there, causing Alice to stagger backwards. "I told you that I don't want to talk—"

"I came because of Hilda, bitch!" Alice cut Zana off.

Zana immediately gasped. For a moment, she remained silent while sharpening her eyes on Alice.

"Yes, you heard right!" Alice rolled her eyes lazily. "I don't want to fight with you, especially not here. I don't want your family to see us yelling at each other. If you want to fight with me, let's find another place."
