A few days later, James ventured to City X mainland to purchase legal firearms for his bodyguards.

As he strolled through the urban landscape, the midday sun cast its warm glow over the crowded streets, with vendors hawking their wares and cars honking in the background.

Nearby, a heated exchange caught James's attention. From a weathered building, a voice echoed, pleading for solitude.

"Sir, please reconsider! Hold off on selling this establishment. I assure you, I'll acquire it sooner or later," a determined female voice countered.

The elderly man, with tufts of grey hair framing his weathered face, stood firm. He appeared to be in his late seventies, his wrinkles telling stories of years gone by.
