Cynthia's disdain and distrust for Liam inspired her to sabotage his chances of staying at the company.

 She took him to a discount store.

She chooses a few low-quality clothing items for him to try on, hoping to humiliate him by buying ill-fitting, low-quality clothes.

"Try these." she said, handling him a garish shirt.

"Okay" Liam answered.

He collected the cloth and went to the fitting room to try the cloth.

Ashley the heiress of Williams corporations approached cynthia. They met at a dinner a few years back while she was working for profit pioneer a financial advisory company.

She helped Ashley secure a deal with them.

"Hii.... it is so lovely to see you here." Ashley said 

"Miss william, what brings you here?" Cynthia replied.

"I am about to release a new line of my collection so I am checking around for designs." she responded.

"That's great."

"I saw you came with a friend.” she said

“How do you know that country bumpkin" Ashley asked

"who?" 

"Liam Miller, I heard he is engaged to Jessica."

"He is not. He is her personal assistant.”

Ashley saw that Cynthia is oblivious to the fact that they are engaged so she let it slide.

“That pervert works for Jessica?”

"What do you mean by that?" Cynthia's eyes widened.

she had always known something was up with him.

Ashley summarized the encounter she had with him on the plane a week ago.

"He tried to peep at my underwear in the plane under the pretense of picking up his ring."she shared.

"what!!!" she exclaimed.

"I had to take a picture as an evidence” She shows Cynthia the picture she took on the plane.

“Here.” She handed the phone to her.

Cynthia immediately recognized Liam with his dressing. “It is truly him.” 

Confirming that he is the one, Cynthia saw this as an opportunity to get Liam fired. She immediately asked for the picture.

“Can I have the picture?” cynthia asked 

“What do I get in return?” Ashley demanded.

"What do you need?” she asked her.

“I heard TMO is handpicking new business partners next week.” she said.

“Will Byte should be able to get to the final selection, right?”

“Definitely. “ Cynthia responded quickly.

“Very well.” Ashley handed a VIP card which Cynthia collected Blissfully.

“Will Byte will surely be the final choice.” she assured Ashley, pocketing the card.

“It is settled then.” She gave Cynthia the picture.

“I should get going.” she said

“I will be in touch.’’ Cynthia said as Ashley left the store.

Liam came out of the fitting room showing her the cloth she asked him to try on.

“Take what you need and let us go.” she said without taking a glance at him focused on her phone.

She stood up and walked toward the counter.

Liam took a few clothes and followed her to the counter where she paid and they left the store. 

She drove him to the employee lounge.

“This is where you will be staying.” Cynthia said before leading him inside.

She leads him to a shabby, dark basement room in the employee lounge, filled with rats and roaches. 

“It was arranged by Miss Matthew.” Cynthia lied, claiming Jessica  ordered her to bring him to the room. Liam remained composed, refusing to complain.

“You should settle in before coming to work, take your time.” she said before taking her leave.

After leaving Liam, Cynthia headed to the office to show Jessica the picture Ashley gave to her.

At the office

{knocks on the door}.

“Come in.” Jessica said

Cynthia enters. “Miss matthew. Good afternoon.”

“Afternoon.” She answered without taking her eyes off her laptop.

“Has Mr Miller settled in?” she asked.

“Yes ma, i am here to make a report about him ma.”

“What happened?” she looked up

“Mr Miller has been very unserious and lazy. He comes to work very late.” she reported hoping to get him fired.

 Surprisingly, Jessica did not react angrily.

“I will personally monitor Mr Miller's attendance onward, inform the HR.” She said calmly.

Cynthia is left stunned as she expects Jessica to be furious and fire Liam. The Matthews are known for their strictness and hatred for slacking around.

Jessica’s reaction to what Cynthia told her annoyed her, she does not get to come to work late and  the newbie can.

In desperation, she played her trump card.

“Anything else?” Jessica asked.

“If not, you can take your leave.”

“Miss Matthew, Mr Miller is a pervert.” she blurted out

“What?” Jessica raised an eyebrow.

“He has a record that can tarnish our reputation and besmirch our honor.”

“Don't accuse people falsely cynthia. Do you have any evidence against him?.”

“Yes I do.”

She brought out her phone to show Jessica the picture Ashley gave her.

Suddenly someone knocks on the door.
