You mentioned a mask, what kind of a mask did he wear?” Lisa asks while walking through the forest.

“It had a butterfly symbol, that's all I remember. That person was really strong, he took that dragon out with just one attack. The color of his name plate was crimson, so he had a high level.”

The description which David gave worries Lisa as she recognizes the mask. 

“That butterfly symbol……Those are wore by the members of Kami organization. I told you about them, did I not. They are very dangerous and you need to stay out of them. Who knows why they saved you and what kind of intentions they have.

 You should be glad that they didn't kill you.”

Lisa shakes her head, trying to get rid of the thought. She has been in danger before. In fact, there were times when danger almost killed her. But she managed to escape, somehow. “I'm sure it is nothing like that. I'll do my best not to run into any trouble with them.""I hope so.'' Lisa walks around for a bit and then stops, hearing birds chirping nearby."Hey, we should go and try clearing some small ranked quest until the others come back. First we have to go back to the city and get you treated and then we will  go meet the fairy.” David smiles at the suggestion while agreeing to it. As the two make their way through the forest, Lisa continues on explaining about the quest she has in mind.

David was completely healed up and they starts roaming around the city. Lisa tells David that their are many people here in this world who never logs out of the VR. They earn enough money to make a living and uses the in-game money to take care of their real body on the outside. Since the game chamber lets you eat and do everything a body needs to do. It is possible for the rich people to never wake up and live the rest of their life here in this world. Thousands of people are already living such a life and the numbers are only growing with each days going by.

David feels sad after hearing this as he does not support such life. He wants to get strong but not by abandoning the reality. He wants to get strong and face reality.

As David was lost in his thoughts, a little girl crashed into him. She falls to the ground and David picks her up.

“Hey there, you okay?” David asks and the girl starts crying. A tall man comes towards them, running and cursing. 

“How dare you make my daughter cry? what did you do?” The man grabs David and almost punches him. He only calms down when his wife tells him to stop. David was not mad and he didn't know what to do. Lisa gets mad and decides to beat the man but David stop her and tells her to let it go.

“I think your daughter is too young to be playing this game.” David tells the man.

“Too Young? Anyone can play this game, heck it is not even a game anymore. It is our world, we chose to not log out of here and live the rest of our life peacefully inside this VR. You don't have to tell us what to do and what not to do.” The family leaves.

David is lost in his thoughts and Lisa tries cheering him up. She takes him to the pawn shop.

David has earned a bit money as a reward for taking part in defeating the dragon, so he decides to use that money to buy something special. Lisa gets busy in the pawn shop and David decides to leave the shop and go to another shop to buy something. Lisa doesn't know where he went. 

He passes by a toy store. He stops and stares at it for awhile, thinking about how much he would like it. There are toys that are made from real animals, dolls and other items. One doll is even designed to look like him, it is beautiful! David goes to see how much it is.

When Lisa  is done looking around, she walks out of the shop and realizes that she left David alone without telling him anything. This causes her worry because she doesn't know if the other boy is okay or not. As she is searching in a big crowd, she finally spots David in front of a toy shop. David is standing in front of a doll and smiling happily. Lisa makes her way toward him, making sure she wouldn't get pushed by someone. As she got closer to the him, David turns around and looks at her. He gives a smile. She returns it. Before she could say anything though, David gives a beautiful doll to Lisa as a gift.

“Kaaaawaaaiiii!” She is overjoyed by the present David gave to her. It is an adorable doll made of white fur and light blue eyes. Lisa hugs the doll close to her chest as tears well up in her eyes. David stands beside her and rubs her shoulder in comfort. Lisa pulls him into a hug and David gets nervous but still holds on to her tightly. After a short time, Lisa breaks the hug.

“Sorry, that was a weird thing to do.” She gets shy for hugging David.

Both of them gets shy and decides to talk as less as they could. Lisa takes David to the top floor of a skyscraper. It is filled with tall trees and the entire area is like a flying forest. The two can see the entire city for up here. The sun is setting is in front of them and the two lays on the grass to comfort themselves. David takes a deep breath and appreciates the nice view.

“Hey Lisa, I had a question I wanted to ask you.” David tells her with a awkward tone.

“What…….What is it?” 

“Why are you helping me so much? Nobody has been this nice to me my entire life. Ever since we met, you have been helping me around with everything. Without you, I would be so far behind. So why?” David asks her.

“Because you remind me of myself. The way you talk, the way you behave. Everything resembles my old self. I used to be just like you, but I have changed for the better. I think you are a nice person David, that is why I decided to become friends with you.” Lisa lets him know, which makes David smile widely.

The wind starts blowing lightly and both David and Lisa feel the cool breeze of the autumn air, causing the hair and clothes to move around. “That’s amazing! Thank you Lisa. I appreciate it a lot and I hope I do not disappoint you.” The two lie there on the grass watching the sunset until it turns dark and it starts raining. Both of them decide to walk back to their guild hideout.
